Dream to Be.
Dutifully doing as instructed, her breathing slowed and she found her use of the air was strangely easier than she knew, perhaps one day she would harness fire and air. Becoming a lighter, less impetuous Jedi. For now the air in her lungs, which she had always worked to ignite, was instead willed to remain in them, albeit with some discomfort.
The sight was disgusting, and you could see it across her face. Good thing for all she hadn’t eaten any more chocolate! She had to dip a hand to her stomach and the other to her face, holding the back of her hand to her lips to be double sure she covered her nose.
It corrupts. Heeding the rest of his warnings, she knew to take him seriously at times like this. Something she respected in him. It corrupts was something she struggled with. How did a being corrupt by its nature. She understood his words but her old lingering dogma, all is the will of the force, was in the way of her acceptance of what he said. Holding her tongue and not questioning, so many puzzles to overcome from the past.
Sent through the force ~“Can it be saved?~ An odd question but she had been saved. If there was hope for her, then there was hope for anything? Idealistic. She was trying to speak to both Jedi at once with mindspeak, which she was finding difficult but was practicing. Taking Syn ’s offer hand she lifted herself up and moved to drop down the other side. Taking his lead again, and helping Liber down the other side. Helping still wasn’t natural for her, but she was making progress. It felt right.
Staring through the darkness and looking for any sign of the creature… Older than him? Flashback, she remembered how he had told her of the girl he watched grow into a woman from his cage, and her children, now to still be here when they had all come and gone. She touched his arm, though he might not know why. Walking beside Syn, she understood with her bargain she would suffer that fate too, slower aging, not as long as he but long enough. ~Pieces of the past the galaxy has forgotten.~ Somedays she understood exactly what that meant, ~but we must find and remember.~ Who else could find the stray Jedi, or find the threats in the dark that lingered awaiting the unwary, no one else even knew these threats existed. Her hand moved to her saberstaff and rested across the hilt.
Seeking conclusions to the past in the dark.
