Ocean Breeze
The Planet of Glee Anslem is known for it's wide oceans, and tranquil islands. Both their governments, the Nautolans and Alselmi have reached out to the Galactic Alliance in an offer to join the coalition of planets, in a bid to prevent them from being conquered by the ever expanding Dark Empire.
Objective One: Under Da Sea

One a year, the tides of the ocean pull back, forming a massive whirlpool off the coast of the large atoll that the Nautolans call their Capital, revealing a massive crystal cave known to produce unique kyber crystals. The Nautolans have invited the NJO to witness this annual event, and participate in the gathering of crystals that are only naturally open once a year.

Objective Two: Deep Below

Local reports have uncovered an old Imperial Listening Post deep below the waves. The sound of beeping echoes through the ocean, as the SIA moves in to secure the post and eliminate any threat that might lurk below.

Beware though, for there’s always a bigger fish…

Weapons Check!

The Galactic Alliance 305th Special Forces Unit, codenamed "Omega Squad," was unknown throughout the galaxy for their unparalleled skills in covert operations. That is the way it is supposed to be. Their missions are classified and their actions unknown to make it easier for other entities. The latest mission was no exception - they had been tasked with securing entry for the Strategic Intelligence Agency (S.I.A.) to enter the hidden Imperial Listening post deep in the cold water planet of Glee Anselm.

Gear check!

As the “Raven” dropship descended towards the planet's surface, the members of Omega Squad prepared themselves for the dangerous mission ahead. They knew that the Imperial defenses would be formidable, but they were confident in their abilities to overcome any obstacle in their way.

Green Light!l

Move Move Move!

The squad was dropped just over 20 kilometers away from the Imperial Listening post, and they began their approach with caution. The icy waters of Glee Anselm lapped at their boots as they moved silently into the darkness of the Nautolan homeworld, their weapons at the ready.
7787859.jpg

As they slowly but surely moved closer and closer to the outpost, one might wonder why they inserted so far away. This was to confuse sensors. Dropping into the water at a closer distance would have alerted long range sensors. Doing so at this distance can allow them to enter and formulate their plans should there need to be a pivot. Not to mention slow entry could camouflage them among the flora and fauna in the icy waters.

It was at the 5km mark of Omega Squad’s trip that they encountered the first of the Imperial defenses - it was a “guns nest”, a small outpost where a group of stormtroopers was assigned to defend the perimeter. They could have taken out the guards one by one, making sure to not be seen or heard, but they did not know that “The Apostles” (as they were called internally) were there. Not to mention they no doubt had to check in and missing a check in would be problematic.
SEAL-6-1000x558-1-768x429.jpg

They knew that if the outpost was alerted to their presence, their mission would be in jeopardy. Bren then signaled to “leave them alone.” Moments later they were moving on with the Imperials none the wiser.

Slowly but surely, Omega Squad made their way closer to the Imperial Listening post, encountering more resistance along the way. They moved like shadows of the ocean in the night, their movements fluid and precise as they eliminated any threat in their path.

There was a problem though… one Bren could not put his finger on just yet.

Jonyna had been wracked with work the last few months. It wasn't often, she just got to...unwind.

She had set up a chair, ready to watch the pilots take off, just off the beach. Part of her wanted to go surfing, but she knew better than to risk getting washed overboard by the sonic boom of X-wings. Instead, she sat, waiting for the race to start, guitar in her lap.

She wanted to get a nap in after. Watch the viewing screens. Maybe play a few tunes.

She just hoped no one would pester her with more work...

No matter how super human Aris was, the deep ocean was too much for him as it was for any Epicanthix. He sat in the submersible, very noticeably not sitting at the helm. Rather, he was seated beside the pilot, idly fiddling with a sphere in his hands. It was rare for him to feel the pull of the Force. In fact, it was the sphere he had that let him. It was a guide, pointing him to places of importance.

Why or how he was still trying to figure out, but after a couple more presses the sphere lit up, floating before him as it pointed ahead. Deeper into the darkness of the deep ocean. Zaiya Ceti Zaiya Ceti and him had discovered the sphere, the Forge.

"Zaiya and I followed this before, back in the Reach. Lead to something a large serpent called the Forge of Ascension. I've no idea what it actually does, but I think this will lead to some answers here. It's.. Tied to us. Our family, I mean. I don't know what it means, but if it helps, I want to figure it out, you know?"

He looked up from the sphere to his sister, giving her a brief smile. It'd been a little while since they last really talked. Once they started down their paths as official Jedi, they weren't together all the time like they had been when he first was brought home. And given this was about them, all of their siblings, it only felt right they figured it out together.

With a flick of her hand, Vera swept her hair over her shoulder and continued staring into the deep. She let the droid pilot handle the submersible and tried her best to focus on what was down here. Her brother had already briefed her a little, and listening to him explain more about his current goal, she couldn't help but wonder.

Were they going to find a big snake, too?

Vera grinned at the thought but pulled herself away to look at Aris. She could tell this was important to him, not only because it concerned him, but because it concerned the majority of the Nobles. Only Mom and Colette weren't directly involved, but knowing Mom, she'd always be willing to help.

"This is something for the two of us to figure out," Vera agreed. "The triplets are too young and Mom and Dad have so much else to focus on." Vera frowned again, as she reminded herself of that darker vision again. Now, it wasn't just her who had seen it, but Alicio had also told Mom about what he saw.

Another vision of Mom dying.

Vera shook her head to set those thoughts aside and focused on her brother again, "I'm a bit concerned though. What if this whole thing is a trap? Or something that just brings us into far too much danger?"

xiqfVVX.png

"I don't think it's a trap. No one else was able to make this orb work, and it was dated back hundreds of years now." But it'd be ideal to make sure that if it was, in fact, a trap they were ready. He frowned, glancing to the droid pilot in thought. This deep in the ocean they were certainly at a disadvantage in terms of escape. Right now though? They had this, he figured. Together certainly.

"There might be a facility. There was with the Forge, though we weren't able to get inside yet. It's part of the reason I came here, y'know? .. Hopefully this won't have a guardian too, though."

"That's not suspicious at all," Vera said sarcastically, her eyes squinted at the orb in his hands. She deliberately hadn't touched it, and she wasn't going to ask him for it either. Even focusing her senses on it felt like a risk if it was connected to the family somehow. The last thing she wanted was more visions showing trouble for her family.

For the people she loved and wanted to protect.

"If it has a Guardian, we'll still find a way inside. We're the best team when we work together." She looked at her brother and flashed a confident grin.

Few things could stop two Nobles who worked together.

"I do have a question though. Let's say we find this forge or something else related to it, and it's something awful and dangerous. What do we do with it? Destroy it? Report it back to the Council?"

Finally, they reached the entrance to the outpost, a massive steel door that stood between them and their objective. With a nod from their leader, Omega Squad sprang into action, "Sariel" setting the charge and breaching the door with explosives before the team let the sudden decompression and suction of rushing water swoop them into the facility. This was discovered once by accident, but turned out to be the single most effective breah entry method in a situation like this. That door lead them into what looked to be a submersible bay.

Somehow they were still not detected as they floated in the water watching as there were some workers still walking around doing their jobs. Giving hand signals, "Remiel" and "Uriel" both positioned themselves into a firing position, lifting her rifle. "Gabriel" and "Raphael" both moved into positions under the two individuals who were clueless. Two guards slowly came walking in, Stormtroopers on a routine patrol, walking around the workers and into static positions. They were in easy "ambush" positions, still Inside the overall area, but each on the end of their own walkways.

"Michael" and "Sariel" both moved into ambush behind them, climbing up halfway and as "Michael" signaled the team worked with a deadly precision that was as amazing to watch as it was frighteningly deadly.

"Remiel" fired, taking out the first worker with a headshot. The worker fell to his death backwards into the water, right into Gabriel's hands who slowed the remains' descent into the water with as little splash as possible.

"Uriel" fired taking out the second worker a shot to the chest. The worker fell to her death backwards into the water, right into Raphael's hands who slowed the remains' descent into the water with as little splash as possible.

"Michael" and "Sariel" both jumped upwards, each grabbing their prospective targets by the back of their belts and using the victims backwards momentum to pull them into the water, taking knives to their throats.

This all happened simultaneously, think about that for a moment.

Their actions did not go unheard. The two guards outside that were responding were quickly taken down with rifle shots from the team snipers. The entry area was secure for the S.I,A. at least. However that meant that ambush zones were ready and waiting just outside those doors. Might as well put that to rest. As Omega Squad delved deeper into the hidden Imperial outpost, they quickly realized that something was off. The security measures were too lax, the guards too easily dispatched. It was almost as if the outpost wanted to be found. Slowly, but surely, room by room, after what seemed like an eternity, the last of the Imperial forces had been defeated, and Omega Squad stood victorious. The concerns were becoming more and more apparent..

This was too easy.

Gabe, Rem, Raph... slice into the systems, find out what is so special about this place. Everyone else set a perimeter.

I'll call this in

Negative. Not until we know what is going on and this feeling in my gut subsides.

You sure? That breaks protocol...

Right now, I think this entire operation is breaking protocol. I want to make sure I'm wrong.

"It's not suspicious. No more than your visions are, anyway." It was likely suspicious. But for Aris, who'd never actually felt the pull of the Force, he didn't want it to be suspicious. Something to be warry of, certainly, but not suspicious. He glanced to Vera at her grin, her admission. They certainly were best together, she was right on that.

"We report it to the council, if it's a problem. But I want to know what it is first. It's our people's history. As Jedi, we should make sure it's not lost to history, right?"

Objective 3
Get ready for the race

Su Rov in full pilot gear strolled on the beach where the star craft for the racing event were kept. A pair of pod droids nearly ran into her, forcing the Sullustan to the side. Watching them she allowed herself a smile. Subsequently Su glanced around where her fellow pilots and their crews were busy with the last minute preparations. A mixture of excitement and anxiety swirled inside her soul.

It's been years since I raced.

Swifty the old hurt ate at her. Shaking her head, Su whispered. "Focus, Su, focus." Then she went forward pulling on the helmet. Trying to bury the past again the young pilot centered her attention on relocating her A-Wing while walking around as some official announced on the intercom of the race beginning shortly.

Without warning she heard the all familiar whistling from the left side and her face beamed turning toward the center of the line. Sure enough there was Tin already in his socket for the A-Wing with a number of engineers finishing up their work. Laughing, Su exclaimed to her partner.

"Laugh it up Tin but I'm here now."

Chirping back a somewhat amused retort Su rolled her eyes. Heading over to the little stairway temporarily attached to her fighter she climbed up it while saying to the head mechanic.

"Thanks, Detai I really appreciate your team's help.”

The old Gran in gray and white engineering uniform smiled back before rubbing the right side of his face while holding a wrench.

"It's our pleasure Su. Do your best to win but just don't abuse the thrusters or you'll be swimming instead."

Su nodded back before jumping inside the cockpit and checked the diagnostics on the monitor. Systems were cleared. Then pulling at her left glove with the right Rov looked out to the light out in the entrance. In all honesty the Sullustan never thought to have this chance again here she is.

Tin beeped a question and Su looked with a determined smile and replied.

"Yes buddy this is where the fun begins."

OBJECTIVE ONE / BYOOISH - Learn more about Nautolans and their methods of communication and some neat underwater Force techniques
Outfit: x x x x x | Equipment: x x x x x | Weapons: x x x
Interacting with: Open to Interaction

Master Tei Vis, a Nautlan Jedi Master, was overseeing a small group of padawans on a short trip beyond the crystal cave for those who didn't need to make a trip to collect a crystal but wanted to learn more about Glee Anselm, Nautolans, and learn a few water survival skills in relative safety with other aquatic species.

Zaiya wasn't particularly skilled in underwater skill sets beyond learning to swim, so the sixteen-year-old thought it prudent to try and rectify that. The trip to Nakbe and the precarious situation they had when they had been sucked deep into the underwater pool by the Guardian Serpent made it clear that she needed to make sure she didn't fall into a similar and dangerous situation again.

In this instance, Master Vis was going to cover the use of Force to create and maintain a bubble of air underwater, with advanced steps on how to slow down the consumption of oxygen while doing so to be able to maintain the air bubble for longer periods of time.

With the handful of students surrounding the Nautolan Jedi, they listened to the instructions. All had some basic understanding of swimming, as it was the basic pre-requisite to ensure the students' safety. With her hair pulled back in a thick, multicolored brade, and a pretty one-piece bathing suit, Zaiya was ready. Giddy at the prospect of learning something new, the Lovalla teenager drank in every word, her luminescent skin rippling with excitement in hues of citrine, teal, and light blue.

"Now, follow me into the water. We will be practicing how to create a Force orb of air in the water in front of you," Master Vis instructed, the semi circle of students standing about waist deep in the calm lagoon waters off the mangroves that lead towards the deeper end of the shale.

"Summon the Force between your hands, imagining the formation of a bubble of air. It may start out small, that is fine, but the goal is to be able to create it in the water in front of you. Once you perfect this, you will move onto the step of attempting to maintain the bubble for a few minutes. Once you can maintain that, we will move forward into submerging yourself into the water and creating the Force Orb around your head and breathing normally."

GLEE ANSELM - THE BEACHES OF GLEE ANSELM - OBJECTIVE THREE: THE DANGER ZONE
@Anyone & Everyone
VVVDHjr.png

Starfighter racing. There was a brief thought wondering as to why there was no pod-racing. On backwater planets (no pun intended) the sport may be far more dangerous, but under much more refined management such as the Galactic Alliance and its various sponsors, there would be far less cause for concern. Then again, with the war effort, maybe this was more so a show of what the Alliance's technology was capable of.

But none of that mattered right now to Kal-El. Right now?

All that mattered was soaking up the rays and enjoying the beach. Maybe later, he would try and catch up on who held the winning bets on the whole starfighter business.

Everything a beachgoer could need was already set up. Coolers with drinks, baskets of snacks, chairs and umbrellas, and a couple whole volleyball nets complete with volleyballs (as well as a few spares). Pinching all those wallets and credits from those more upper-class acolytes at the Academy had really paid off in a big way. A perfect vacation away from the prying eyes of any Sith. Who would be stupid enough to venture into GA space?

Ripping off his robe, Kal-El smiled before bouncing a volleyball up and down by himself, even doing a few tricks like bouncing the ball off his knees into the air.

His challenge went out for all to hear, "Anyone think they got what it takes for a fair game? Free snack and drink involved if you at least try."

And who could turn down a cool and refreshing beverage in this heat?

The sun hung low in the sky, casting warm golden hues across the shoreline. Waves gently lapped at the beach, their rhythmic sound blending with the distant hum of starfighters preparing for the race. Valery stepped onto the beach, her dark brown hair cascading over her shoulders, tousled by the playful sea breeze. The scent of salt and the faint roar of engines filled the air, creating a tranquil yet exciting atmosphere.

Valery paused for a moment, taking in the scene before her. To her left, a group of people had gathered around a makeshift volleyball court, where an intense match was about to start. Her gaze was briefly drawn to one of the players — a young man who had just ripped his shirt off, revealing a well-toned physique. Valery perked her brow his way but smirked as he challenged the other beachgoers to a game. She was tempted to take him up on the offer.

She always loved a good challenge.

Before making her decision, however, her sharp eyes caught sight of a familiar figure nearby. Jonyna sat on the beach, a guitar in her lap to play a few tunes.

Was she here to watch the show as well?

Idle strumming filled the air, as Jonyna took a moment to just live in the moment.

But her feeling within the Force clued her into a friend nearby. A lazy turn of the head, and a smile.

"Hey Val." Jonyna smiled. "Wanna join me? I got a chair to share." She patted the beach chair next to her, the locals seeming to have set them up beforehand.
"Was just tuning the guitar I was gonna give to Adam. Fresh from the music shop down the way, new strings and all. Thought I'd break it in before I give it to the kid. These things are a bit finicky out of the box."

"My visions aren't suspicious. They show something real," Vera said rather defensively, her voice betraying just a hint of frustration, "I know that feeling the Force like that is new to you, but don't you think it's a little too good to be true? Your one weakness is suddenly and magically cured by some weird orb that has specific connections to our family."

If all of that was true, maybe there was such a thing as destiny.

Pushing her suspicions aside, for now, Vera focused on the oceans again. She had no idea what was out there — what would be waiting for them — but she was excited to explore it with her brother.

"We should try to preserve it, yeah. But I'm not going to die for some ancient history." She chuckled and looked over at him with quite a smile.

"You're like Dad with these things, though." Another way of calling him a nerd. "So I know you're not going to just give up on this if it gets a little dangerous. Just don't rush into it without me, alright?"

As the team either set the perimeter, or were busy delving deep into the posts link into the Imperial network, they discovered a series of encrypted messages between the rogue agent and a high-ranking Imperial officer.

Found something!

Me too.

You are not going to like this.

Show me.

The messages detailed a plan to launch a surprise attack on the Galactic Alliance, using stolen technology and intelligence gathered from the listening post. Not this “listening post”, this one is nothing more than a decoy.

If this place is a decoy, this message could be one. A prudent thought, but Raphael had more.

I’m in the “decoy” network, the message we’re supposed to fall for suggests an attack on the Nautolans blaming it on us.

Lt. Alazar was ticked off but knew they had to act fast. He ordered the squad to gather as much information as they could and then destroy the facility before the Imperials could launch their attack “tying off loose ends”. But as they made their way back to their extraction point, they were ambushed by a group of Imperial soldiers. Obviously sent by the actual post.

Open up on’em!

A fierce battle ensued, with Omega Squad fighting tooth and nail to fend off their attackers. But the Imperials were relentless and seemed to just keep coming, and it soon became clear that they were outnumbered and outgunned. Just when all hope seemed lost, a group of Nautolan warriors emerged from the depths of the ocean to aid them in their fight.

“Do your breathers still work?”

Yeah, why?

“Your attackers do not seem to be carrying any.”

Sariel!

Way ahead of you, Boss!

Together, Omega Squad and the Nautolan warriors were able to pin down the Imperial soldiers long enough for Sariel to throw his last two grenades at an open wall, and follow up with an impact grenade from his underbarrel launcher. The combined explosions managed to rip a hole in the wall ever increasing in size by the influx of ocean water. The rushing aquatic inertia slammed the shocked Imperial troops into a wall as Omega Squad were gearing up and hiding behind tech. Once the pressure was stabilized both Omega Squad and their newfound allies were able to make their escape.

As they regrouped back in the open ocean, Lt. Alazar knew that they had narrowly averted a disaster. But he also knew that this was just the beginning of a much larger threat.

2TangGd.jpeg

The rogue S.I.A. agent and his Imperial allies were still out there, plotting their next move. It was simple, the team had not completed their mission.

They had a facility to clear.

In a shocking twist, they discovered that the real threat was not the Imperial forces, but a rogue faction within the S.I.A. itself, using the decoy outpost as a diversion to carry out their own sinister agenda. With their loyalty and trust put to the ultimate test, Omega Squad had to make a choice that would not only determine the outcome of their mission, but also the future of the galaxy.

"They show you something you often can't properly interpret and can lead you down paths you wouldn't have taken otherwise." Which wasn't the same thing, but he wasn't going to say as much. Vera was right that it was indeed suspicious for him to have it, for it to work for him as it was. "It didn't cure anything. It's not like I can suddenly feel the Force around me. I just, feel the pull through the orb. It's guiding me, us, somewhere with the Force. .. But that's it, all I got."

He let out a sigh before glancing back to Vera with a brow raised. Then huffed. An actual huff at that.

"I'm not going to get us killed or anything, sis. But I'm not going to let danger stop me."

"It's not the same thing," Vera insisted again, a little more annoyed with her brother already. The visions were special to her because it was the one thing she was good at. For him to call them suspicious and compare them to this random little orb made her want to strangle him. But she resisted and drew in a deep breath.

He didn't mean anything by it.

When he grew defensive again and even huffed, Vera couldn't stop herself from grinning though, "Wow, you're really starting to sound like Mom now, too." She knew it was a sensitive topic — she always teased him about being a Mama's boy. This was just the perfect opportunity to bring it up again.

"But I know, and we'll be fine. What are we looking out for, anyway?"

Which much excitement and a dazzle of colors that shone over Zaiya’s rosy golden skin, the Lovalla teen listened intently to Master Tei Visa’s instructions then got to work.

Waist deep in the water, Zaiya dug bare toes in the sand and gave a giggle as she saw a school of tiny blue green fishes dart to and fro between the students legs. Placing both hands in the cool water, Zaiya began to concentrate. She was getting better at manipulating the Force outside of her body, although she still struggled with applications to her own self. The opposite of what Aris had to deal with it seemed.

None the less, with the tip of her pink tongue sticking out of the corner of her mouth, Zaiya summoned the Force and focused.

She was to make a bubble in the water; a pocket of air. Breathing in and out, she pictured reasonably and logically what water was made of. Oxygen and hydrogen. If she could split them, maybe she could make that pocket of air.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work as well the first time. Not to be deterred, Zaiya tried again.

Just need to focus…

"No idea. The path this thing makes adapts to whatever's in the way. So, it'll likely guide us to whatever's the destination." Aris shrugged as he stared down at the lightless depths they were in. The path was still leading them down, towards.. Something. He couldn't tell where it was going to lead. "The last place was the Forge. Zaiya and I saw it, but, the doors didn't open. Said something about needing the key. Then, this pointed me here. So.. Maybe a vault? A facility? A deep buried chest that was hidden away?"

There were plenty of things it could be, at least. He paused though. Blinked. Then squinted right at Vera.

"Wait what do you mean I sound like mom?"
