The DC-95 Rifle was designed for the Octarchy Commandos at the behest of Voph. He wanted his elite units to have a rifle capable of penetrating heavy armor, thus allowing them to go toe to toe with more specialized units. The bullpup design allows the rifle to be reloaded quicker than average, and offers more effective barrel length, allowing the rifle an above-average range. The Rifle's greatest drawback is the plasma cell ammunition, limiting options when ammunition begins to run low.
