Of Course It Was A Trap

He was prepared for her attack this time. What's more, this close he didn't bother holding back. As she lifted her blasters his saber burst into existence and swiped upwards to carve them both apart before she could get a shot off. A simple action, and one from the Shii-Cho form, but it seemed fitting given [member="Salis"] 's choice to use blasters instead of her saber. Kahlil raised his free hand to follow this up though, should she get her blasters out of the way, unleashing a blast of the Force from his open palm to blow her back and away from him. Create some space.

Her hands shot backwards, unfortunately those blaster bolts weren't going to be going anywhere as he attempted to cut the weapons apart, she managed to save them as she stepped back and pulled her arms apart, however that did mean she was not prepared for the following force push sending her off her feet and rolling through the air, she hit a wall dropping one of the pistols and grunting as she hit the ground. She'd had worse, still, it hurt.

But boy did it make her smile. She turned to him, using the wall to prop herself back to her feet as a laugh finally left her, "There it is! Let's go!" she pulled the blaster from the ground, she used her right pistol sending three shots spread out over his torso now that he'd made the distance, and with the other hand flicked fingers, still holding the other blaster, causing two Stun Pearls to leave their pouch, remove pins, and fly towards him on either side. They were essentially miniature stun grenades, less powerful and less ranged, but she'd taken out a Sith Lord with one after nearly getting herself killed. She'd been the one to recover from that first, but chose not to try and kill the Sith. Because, well, she'd been entertaining.

His gaze narrowed for a moment as he watched [member="Salis"] soar back. He made no move to follow her, instead stepping back to increase the space between them. He could handle blaster fire. Similar to before, when the shots got close to him they visibly slowed. He stepped through them, using as minimal involvement from his lightsaber and body as he could. The two wounds burned in the back of his mind even from these small movements. The stun pearls had a similar reaction, Kahlil evading through them none the wiser to their true effect.

If not for the Force he wouldn't of done anything at all. At the last second he pushed them both away, his eyes widening with the realization. Still, they went off. The resulting bang had Kahlil stumbling, one hand covering an ear. The young Knight was visibly dazed, unable to focus on his surroundings. His lightsaber came up defensively, held in an unsure grasp as he stumbled back a step before catching himself.

He defended the blaster bolts with ease quite clearly. Regardless of his refusal to attack much the man was clearly very skilled. And knew how to use the force well in combat. However, while he was able to reduce the effects of the stun pearls, he still seemed to get effected by them. She took the chance she was given, and this time instead of firing at his torso, she sent several quick blasts focused at his hand before holstering the weapon and leaping towards him her lightsaber blade activating as the phrik daggers once again left her belt as if on their own.

She didn't bother speaking this time. He could defend against attacks in multiple places. So it was time to focus them on very few points. She would aim those blades towards his lightsaber hand, darting them all at it repeatedly while trying to close in. She wanted to enjoy it. She wanted to fight and if he refused to attack she'd just have to handle it that way. She could still feel her back ache from the impact. But that was all part of the game wasn't it. She had one backup plan if all else would end up failing. A technique that she'd used in most of the fights where her opponents were doing a bit too well. But she would refrain from that, due to the sheer amount of focus and energy it required to make it.

Besides, she still needed to see if what she was attempting right now would actually work.

To say things were going bad was an understatement. Kahlil's passive nature and desire for a non confrontational end to this bout wasn't going to work. He knew that. Early on he could tell, but he still tried. His wrist flicked to catch the slowed shots, though it did little more then send his lightsaber soaring from his hand and into the rubble of the ruined wall close by. Pain shot up his arm, causing the young man to grit his teeth in pain.

His senses returned just as [member="Salis"] closed in. Silver eyes focused right in on the ex Sith. More flying daggers, now focused instead of targeting random parts.

Far more dangerous then it was before.

There was no longer a choice in this. It was his life on the line. The Force swelled around him all at once as a shimmering field of blue formed before the daggers. It caught them much like an actual shield, though they easily broke through. The shield was there only to buy time after all. Then the pulse. The passive aura around him that had seemed to slow the blasters intensified. Kahlil brought his hands up, taking in a calming breath.

Then the aura expanded. The daggers slowed almost to a stop, movement barely visible. The grass swaying in the wind came to a stand still. Petals blown from a nearby flower paused in their flight between them. And it only grew larger and larger. The small stream of water no longer ran where the aura expanded, causing the stream past it to trickle out and dry. It went so far as to threaten to consume Salis in the same stalling energy if she continued towards him. And yet, despite the massive surge of energy, Kahlil stayed calm in the center, still breathing at a normal rate.

Another success as the more focused attacks succeeded. However, as she furthered her approach he pulled a trick that she'd definitely not seen before. Yes she'd seen him slow the blades, but she hadn't quite realized the extent that power had. Suddenly things began to slow and she tried leaping back but still managed to got caught inside of it. She was still moving faster then the rest of things, but it was still extremely reduced. Her senses were mostly kept up she noticed. He'd almost frozen time. Projectiles weren't going to work well here. She didn't know just how much he could do while keeping this up, whether it would simple...remain or if he had to keep focus on it for awhile. Either way. She knew that she had to take action. Either she had to wait him out and hope that he would still refuse to attack her but would end up exhausting his energy keeping this up. Or he was going to run while it was up, or just as it was reducing perhaps.

Regardless, she didn't have many options here. She could barely move at all, she was hardly even still moving through the air in her leap. Her left hand began turning towards him as she focused, as she poured her passion into something. Looked like she wouldn't be getting to wait for this as she'd hoped. Force_Destruction was a very dangerous power, it required a lot of focus and energy as compared to most and as a result was a much greater threat to a users stamina. But it's destructive power was worth it when it was needed. She knew that the fact he'd managed to pull off such a feat was evidence he was powerful. She had to wonder just what he'd be like if he actually let himself go all out. But she couldn't think on that. She was concentrating. As the raw power of the dark side began building up.

Kahlil would probably sense it. There was no bothering to disguise what this was. And as it grew and grew it's radius of explosive power did to. Whether he chose to drop the field, run, or try and take it on, she was going to release that. Of course, aiming at this ridiculous difficulty to move was rather hard. But, she didn't have to hit him. Could probably obliterate a small fighter with this. She just needed to be somewhat near. Of course, it would likely still be slowed by whatever move he'd pulled here. But explosions are much harder to dodge then simple blasters or blades, even for someone with precognition.

Now this was entertainment. A challenge. Still on defense, but at least he'd done something to her. And she'd gotten in a few hits herself. She enjoyed this. It had been awhile since her last fight with someone who could actually pose a threat, whether or not he intended to.
