The arching architecture loomed overhead as the shuttle carried them back to the rented room. Quinn had left her apprentice, Kaila's apprentice, and the others behind. She felt only a hint of guilt, for everyone else was grown enough to handle themselves. Still, her mind wandered, wondering if it had been wise to leave Tamsin with Eira.

The Princess wrinkled her nose. Probably not her best idea, but it was done. She'd just scold Eira in the morning if anything happened.

Quinn's gaze drifted from Naboo's ancient, elegant buildings to the pair seated with her. Both of them had claimed her heart, something she had given freely. She'd never imagined the three in the same room, let alone like this, but their presence was proof of trust. Whatever the rest of the night held, there was a nervous excitement knotted in her stomach.

Sitting beside Kirie, Quinn leaned in close to the woman's ear. "Are you sure you don't want to wear your cosplay?" she teased quietly as her eyes flicked to the blonde across the cab. Her grin widened as she looked back to Kirie. "You worked so hard on it. I am sorry I didn't tell you it wasn't that kind of dress-up." She pressed a soft kiss to the handmaiden's cheek. Kirie had refused the suggestion before they left, but Quinn couldn't resist asking again.

She smirked as the speeder turned into the small estate Quinn had rented for her and her friends. When the driver opened the door, the Princess gestured for the others to go first, then stepped out with practiced grace, using the driver's hand for balance. She left a few thousand credits tucked in his palm as she let go.

"Take the others to one of the hotels," she said without looking back, "and let Eira know to use my account for whatever they want." The driver didn't question her; he just returned to the event. The three women were left to their own devices.

Inside, Quinn shut the door quietly behind them. Then, locked. She didn't speak. Not yet. Her lovers would watch as she crossed the foyer. At the small table, she began removing her jewelry, which was neatly placed in a pile of gold bracelets, earrings, and a necklace.

Quinn looked toward them and smiled softly. The fabric of her dress whispered with each step as she moved. She reached for Kaila's tie, fingers curling around it to tug the taller woman closer. Their lips met gently, briefly just enough to tease. Her hand stayed on the tie.

Her attention turned to Kirie. Quinn's gaze softened as she reached out, running her fingers along the handmaiden's cheek. "Both of you, follow me." Quinn laughed lightly, guiding Kaila by her makeshift leash and Kirie by the hand.

The master bedroom door closed behind them. Locked.

The night was filled with something new that shifted the balance between them. It changed Quinn and the way she saw the two women she loved. She hadn't expected this outcome or this circumstance, but it was everything she could have dreamed of.

In the quiet aftermath, wrapped in warmth and shared breath, she felt truly loved and more loved. Nothing could replace either of them. She loved them for different reasons, but deep and all the same.

Entwined between them, Quinn reached out, fingers brushing gently through the brunette locks of her confidant, her handmaiden. She watched Kirie sleep, while comforted by the steady weight of her blonde Knight behind the Princess.

This was her sanctuary.

They were her home.

"You worked so hard on it. I am sorry I didn't tell you it wasn't that kind of dress-up."

"It's alright." said Kirie, trying to keep her voice neutral. Unfortunately for her, in her drunken state she was unable to keep a straight face and her pout transformed into a sly grin. She was clearly hiding something, but she wouldn't tell. That would spoil it, and Kirie had been teased enough that she wanted the last laugh.

The speeder pulled up to the luxurious residence that was to be theirs for the evening. Kirie swayed a little from the drinks getting out, but she still retained her senses, and clung to Quinn's hand as the Princess led her and Kaila inside. She leaned against the door, unable to take her eyes off Quinn taking off her earrings and necklace. Kaila was grabbed by the tie, and Kirie's hand was already outstretched, waiting to be taken. Excitement grew in her belly as she was marched to the master bedroom, slipping into its plush, darkened interior.

"Oh noooo..."
Kirie moaned in mock distress. "There's only one bed..."

Kirie lingered at the end of the bed, her eyes flitting between Quinn and Kaila, their beautiful and familiar forms coming into focus as her eyes began to adjust.

"I have a surprise." said Kirie, unable to hide her mischievous grin. She sat on the edge of the bed while she dug around in her purse, producing what looked like a scrunched up piece of white cloth. Not answering any questions, Kirie stood and trotted out of the room, returning a moment later without her dress, instead wearing the puffy shirt from her earlier costume, unbuttoned all the way, so that it left very little to the imagination. She flicked her hair in exaggerated seductiveness, prompting a round of giggles that were only interrupted by her hiccuping. Real smooth.

Kirie looked up at the pair of them, hoping for bemusement, or interest in how much of herself she was putting on display, or shock at the fun-sized riding crop she was holding in her free hand.

"So."
said Kirie. "Who likes my costume now?" Kirie stood by the door, illuminated by the golden light from the hall behind her, grinning triumphantly in her frilly pink underwear and very crumpled linen shirt.

Cheeks glowing and smiling widely, Kirie allowed herself to be pulled to the bed. Her shirt didn't last long, left discarded with her silly prop as the three of them fell into each other. She had planned to challenge them on their teasing, to tell them all about how they had to make it up to her. But in the end, she didn't need to. She was drowned in kisses anyway, her lips finding Quinn's, then Kaila's and back again kissing passionately, like she would die without it. Her hands roamed freely, a landscape of soft warm skin for her to touch and take in, and her touch was returned, her lovers were rewarded with soft gasps and whispered words: "Yes. Please. More."

Kirie woke and it was dark. This was not unusual. She had always risen before the sun, before she was a servant and since. It allowed her a headstart on her chores. Clothes could be ironed and folded in the quiet early hours, and she could spend the afternoon doing as she wished.

But it was not her usual waking time. She sensed that only a little time had passed since she fell asleep. She was still entwined with Quinn and Kaila, the former lying between the pair of them, their arms draped over her midriff and chest.

It felt good. It felt right. She had worried they were crossing a line of sorts but it didn't seem that way now. It was like she was in a puddle of warmth and security. Kirie's dark eyes met Quinn's. She was awake too. Kirie nuzzled her face into Quinn's neck, relishing the feeling of her hands running through her hair, reminding her of the morning after they were first intimate, when Quinn had washed her hair.

"Hi." she whispered, barely audible in case Kaila still slept. She gave a shy smile. "That was fun."

Despite being surprised by Kirie's waking up, Quinn didn't stop threading her fingers through the woman's hair. Her touch remained gentle and consistent as she accepted the nestling. Lips pressed into the crown of messy brown hair, the Princess hummed happily at the closeness. A part of her wondered why she had fought this for so long, keeping everything separate and wearing herself thin. Was it fear or maybe confusion?

Quinn wrinkled her nose, pushing the thoughts from her mind, wanting to relax and relish in the moment.

She smiled at her lover's words. "Mm, it was," she whispered, giving Kirie another gentle kiss on her head. "I was worried," Quinn revealed, "mostly about you; this is a lot and very new…" She smiled and sighed gently, taking in the gentle lingering of the familiar scent of her own perfume on the handmaiden. "I've never done this before; I assume we're in the same boat."

Quinn paused, keeping her words quiet. "I trust her, with myself and with you - I hope you do as well, even if it's with time." Quinn was quiet afterward and didn't want to wake Kaila up too soon. The woman had her own trials and seemed to be the one the Force often tested out of the trio. A hand moved from Kirie momentarily as Quinn let her fingertips caress the arm draped over her waist from behind.

"I trust both of you with everything I am and what will come." Quinn smiled, her hand returning to Kirie's cheek. Fingers brushed aside stray strands of her soft hair. Another kiss, gently on the lips as she brought the woman's gaze to her own.

"I'm happy you had fun," Quinn said as her eye caught something reflecting the single beam of sunlight. Raising an eyebrow, she smirked, "But alas, that is mine." Gently, the Princess plucked the small crown from the woman's head and placed it on her own. "You little rascal."

"I uhm. I prefer your rendition of the stable boy, actually." Kaila admitted, smiling nervously.

Yet she found herself staring out the landspeeder window again more than the others, even though she was sat at Quinn's side, a hand resting on the princess' thigh.

This was so new, and so strangely familiar.

She thought back on her life before meeting them, how though she had allowed herself to be held by many arms, sometimes all at once, few had done so lovingly. There was something to be said about the irony, that she'd matured in the lap of luxury and pleasure chambers of Malsheem, and yet this night had left her a blushing mess as if it were her first experience.

Kaila just shook her head and smiled, slipping out of the car as they arrived. A quick glance exchanged with the moon and a deep breath was all she required to regain her composure before returning to Quinn and Kirie's side.

Though she was far from sober herself, she placed herself in the middle until they'd reached the door, a strong hand on both women's shoulders meant to keep Kirie from stumbling.

Though she may have swayed once or twice herself.

Inside she was quiet, a drunken knight out of her element, face red in the dim light as she leaned against the wall beside the haindmaiden, both watching their princess set aside her array of jewelry. It was hard to take her eyes off her, her silver heart.

She smiled warmly upon her return, feeling as though she may breath comfortably again, though even that was stolen soon enough as Quinn wrapped the sith's tie around her fingers, perhaps a metaphor in it's own right. Just like that, the deal was sealed with a kiss and they were off to the bedroom.

There was a change in the air they entered, a nervous excitement where there had once been pressure. Kaila sat on the bed, tossing aside her suit jacket, dropping her tie from pinched fingers while she watched Quinn prepare. If she wanted to control Kaila, the princess would need to take hold of other things. But it wasn't until Kirie returned with their surprise that she was able to look away, golden eyes shining in the dim light as they drank in every inch for the very first time.

Her already shallow breath hitched.

Kirie too was alluring in her way. She didn't look at her in quite the same way as she looked upon Quinn, but there was something there for certain. An indulgent hunger perhaps, a desire to know more.

"So." said Kirie. "Who likes my costume now?"

She exchanged a sidelong glance with Quinn, biting her lip, then helped her pull Kirie in.

Kaila slept soundly that night, exhausted in all her favorite ways.

While the others spoke, their blonde warrioress remained huddled against Quinn, soaking up her warmth like a great big sponge. She'd always slept so peacefully while holding her princess, free from the nightmares and misshapen memories which oft plagued her while they were apart. A testament to their bond, perhaps something more purposeful than she knew.

One golden eye fluttered open, the other remaining closed as one side of her face was currently nestled into the echani's neck and a pillow of soft, ashen hair.

She rolled her shoulder, the closest she could manage to stretching whilst stubbornly holding onto her princess, and groaned softly, inhaling the remnants of her perfume. The start to a perfect morning.

"
...mmh..?" she glanced lazily at the crown being plucked from Kirie's auburn hair.

They were close enough for Quinn to feel as her lips curled into a tired smile, while Kaila reached out to stroke Kirie's soft hair, before nuzzling back into her princess.

"
...has our stable girl taken to a life of thievery?" she yawned.

Our. she felt it a fun word to say.

There was nothing like this kind of warmth. The three of them, smooshed together at the centre of the bed, limbs entwining their bodies in a gentle, easy embrace. One being with three parts. Even their breathing was synced. It was nice, and comfortable, and she wanted it to last forever, even though she knew the beauty of the moment lay in the fact it was fleeting. A short moment of perfection.

"I was worried," Quinn revealed, "mostly about you; this is a lot and very new…"

If she were in any other place and time, Kirie would probably find herself reacting defensively at that. But her walls were down, she trusted Quinn and she knew what she was saying was true. Kirie was delicate, held together by scant hopes and her connection to the few people she had here. If she was in Quinn's place, she would have been worried too.

"Same boat." confirmed Kirie, nodding. "But, it's good."

"I trust both of you with everything I am and what will come."

Trust. That was a precious commodity, one that was difficult to dole out for all of them. Quinn had her crown to protect, her place in the Empire and her big heart. Kaila had her alliegances, her reputation and her vulnerability to protect. Kirie was not spared by virtue of having no birthright, no rank. After all, without putting her faith in others, she had nothing.

And yet, somehow, she had found two people who would not abuse that, and would fight for her, even though she had nothing to give in return but her love.

"I trust you." Kirie replied. "Both of you." Kirie looked over and saw Kaila stirring and she wondered if she'd heard. She hoped so.

Then the fine light crown was plucked from her head and Kirie looked up, shocked. She hadn't even realised it was there. Though, when she thought about it, she actually maybe did recall it finding its way onto her head during the night.

"...has our stable girl taken to a life of thievery?"

Kirie's bashful smile turned into a soft little laugh. She shook her head and wagged a finger.

"No!" said Kirie, feigning outrage, her voice crackling with sleep as she raised her voice above a whisper for the first time in hours. "Kaila, I'll have you know I only take what I have been given." Yes. That was right, in the blur of their drunken fun, she seemed to remember a certain white-haired princess crowning her and showering her with kisses. Though, now that she thought about it that line made her sound more like Serina Calis than anything else. Not what she was going for.

Kirie raised her head a bit, trying to get a peek through the heavy curtains to see if the sky was lightening. Sharp pain invaded her skull as she did, her stomach swirling. How many drinks had she had last night? She didn't know the exact count but, a lot.

"Ughhh." Kirie moaned, rubbing her temple. "My head..."

Quinn laughed. Her laugh was genuine, a sound she hadn't heard in ages. They were the reason for it. Their antics and careless freedoms made Quinn smile. Together, this was something good; she felt whole, unlike any other time in her life. Her laughter had easily shoved aside the twinge of jealousy that she felt bubbling in her throat when she heard Kaila say 'our' about her Kirie. The thought of her sharing someone precious with another clawed at her throat and incited a feeling she only felt when dealing with her sister.

Still, she liked this feeling. The three of them together were hers, and she was theirs - but for it to work, she needed to allow them to be each other's as well. Quinn wouldn't say anything about it, but she would quietly learn to accept it.

There was no maybe; she had to if the Princess wanted this feeling to continue. Her love for them outweighed her selfishness.

Her head tilted as she rested on her elbow. The feeling of Kaila behind her made her smile, and she reached out and pulled her handmaiden into a sweet and gentle kiss. "Well then, if you're under the weather, my sweet thief, you should stay in bed and take the morning off." Quinn smiled and unraveled herself from Kaila, giving her enough room to pull the blonde into a kiss. "You did well last night, so you're allowed the morning off too."

Quinn stood from the bed as she crawled over Kirie and took one of the sheets with her. Wrapping it gently around her frame, she looked at the two women she was left in bed, "Since you both took such good care of me last night, the least I can do is be a doting lover and take care of you both." The Princess mused as she dropped the sheet and pulled on the long linen shirt that belonged to Kirie's stable hand outfit. She tugged at the strings that laced up the chest as she eyed both of them with a hunter they had only seen momentarily the night before.

"I plan on staying on Naboo for some time. You should both rest up. We have a long weekend ahead of us." Smirking, Quinn bit her lower lip and stretched.

"Breakfast will be ready in about thirty minutes." Quinn smiled as she opened the door, leaving it cracked open enough for them to watch her saunter in Kirie's shirt down the hallway.

It didn't take her long to gather the pans and begin making the batter for the pancakes. She had learned Empyrean's devilishly good recipe, one that he had promised to make her mother eons ago but never did.

Quinn would one day hold the recipe over her mother's head for fun. As she cooked, the smell of pancakes, bacon, and other delicious morning treats began to waft toward the bedroom. The Princess was in rare form; she was honestly happy.

She grinned mischievously at Kirie.

There was a joke to be made there but she held back, lest they have a repeat of last night before breakfast.

Besides, Quinn seemed ready to part for the moment, a key component lost from the whole. She leaned forward into their kiss, tired but no less tenderly lingering just a little longer than necessary. The young Darth wished they could have stayed like that awhile longer, damn their duties and damn ambition. A fool's dream of course, but a dream nonetheless.

"You did well last night, so you're allowed the morning off too."

"As you wish." she smiled proudly at the recognition for a job well done.

It made parting from the echani's touch a little easier, though still her hands delicately traced over pale skin as Quinn moved about, only relenting once out of reach, and even then they needily lingered in the air for but a moment.

She laid back then stretching, audibly popping metallic shoulders, while she watched her get dressed and discuss plans for the weekend.

"
Fun~" she bit her lip.

"
Breakfast?"

Kaila had expected her dear princess to order something or make someone else cook, a disaster waiting to happen if the former Mandalorian were given access to the spice cabinet. Instead it seemed Quinn was cooking for them herself, and the young knight tried in vain to recall a time when anyone had done something so thoughtful for her. One of many firsts they'd shared.

"
Fanged God," Kaila muttered, watching Quinn right up until she'd disappeared from view.

"
She's so pretty."

She sighed happily, finally letting her eyes flit away from the now empty hall whilst annexing the empty space beside Kirie.

"
Hey. how's your head? Just hungover, or did you catch something?"

While they spoke, she lazily summoned her crumpled dress shirt with a flick of her wrist, slowly waking despite her desire to remain comfortably beneath the warm covers. Were this Echnos, she might've made a droid serve the three breakfast in bed. Though she had to admit it would have lacked that lovingly human touch their princess was baking into her craft.

"
You know..." there it was again, that toothy little curl in the corner of her lip.

"
I could carry you. It's a short trip to the kitchen, and I'm feeling the most sober of the two of us."

She may as well have fun with it if she must truly part from the sheets.
