Oh Hell Yeah

[member="Taneas Haring"]

He was walking now and the thoughts about the defense was something to work on. They had been working on some of the things like emitters and sensors but nothing drew attention more most of the time then a laser grid announcing there was something to protect. It helped as he was working on some of it that the smiths from Chai La were working on the things here and hey didn't like showing their hands to the other mandalorians. The lack of recognition compared to some had them choosing to just remain in the background as his attention went to the perimeter with a nod. "We have it going well but we don't want to bring to much attention. Some of the mandalroians are very stingy and only want their clans or companies to have access to beskar."

"I see your point." He would say scratching the side of his face. "I'll never understand why mandolorians are so obsessive and stingy with beskar. They could probably get more out of it if they sold some with it's price on the market. With the credits more equipment can be purchased. Besides not many outside of the mandolorians know how to Smith and properly purify the ore so it's not like it would damage them." He would begin to think of other options they could take to defend the mine. The only other thing he could think of was pressure plates and reflective razor wire maybe even a low level emp emitter inside making lasers and many weapons useless. "If you can the I would suggest carving a part of the entrance tunnle out install a emp emitter that only effects the inside area. That way even if the did get in lasers would be useless. Then set up a pressure plate to send a signal you have intruders, and motions sensors to determine where inside. Where most of the beakar is cover up with a stone door. That way with no electronics they can't find anything. A lot of work but do able."

Shane was watching the perimeter while he was moving and listening to it. THe thoughts on beskar and what to do with it aside he wasn't against some of the uses. Selling it to people outside the mando's wasn't really helpful as they didn't know how to work it so it held value only when it was refined and forged... Which they had mines for hat he was getting some good resources while his attention went back t him. "THere is value in it but until it is forged and worked with it is a piece of metal. Until they work it so it has well protection compared to other things." He stopped though now and looked back at the mines while thinking about it. "There are some points we could reinforce and protect but here on Mandalore it isn't really easy to just attack. The main clans will jump from fighting each other to fighting them for a moment or two."

"Refined or not it's still good price on the market. One kilogram goes for around nine hundred credits in the black markets still, other places more." As he check the data pad he knew he'd need to leave soon and with his second gun ready waiting. "Honestly it sounds to me you guys have problems that needs to be settled. Wasn't there a time when the clans was united and fought as one? Thats what needs to happen again and your current mandolor obviously isn't the right person to bring unity. Anyhow let's test two at a time shell we?." He would say with a smirk on his face walking back over to the stone table and picking up the jury. This time it had been preloaded saving the time. "Well we know accuracy is good now for range. The magnetic coils should aid in further range." He stood roughly 20m away from the target and aimed both guns. With the lasers active and lined up with the center of the target he would then squeeze one trigger and followed with the second. The shots would impact but the spread a little to far. Thinking in his head he would need to be a meter or two closer for an effective range. Taking three steps closer he did the same again pulling off one trigger after the other. Even with the coils in the gun still made a hefty bang but wasn't to loud. Although the echo from the open area sure carried it out. "Well I'd say nineteen or eighteen been the effective range. Close enough to definitely make anyones day bad ayy?" Checking the time again it had gone past the time he was sent to be here and a possibility he'd be late getting back into republic space. "Well old buddy, I gotta go. If your ever in need send a message and if you are ever on issue you know where I live that's not changed." Placing one arm over Shane's shoulder he'd tap his back before letting go. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do... actually just don't do anything stupid okay." He would laugh as he walked to the ship and guns him hand.

Shane listened and there was a lot said that was true but the clans didn't always get along. Grudges were important to mandalorians and they had them among clans but the important thing was they knew how to get over them in the face of a common enemy. Heading back after they had finished now he was noticing more of the work and the armor they had been working on for him as he listened. "Partially, clans work together for a common goal but they like to kill and fight each other. It builds character you could say now go on get and have some fun." He wasn't opposed to most of it as they returned and looking at the two guns gave a nod of approval at the work on them. The smiths were some of the best and showed not all mandalroains knew how to craft but they all knew their weapons. He'd just have to wait to really see those in action.
