With how crowded these events usually end up I personally don't enjoy trying to participate in the mainstream campaign. It's too hectic and it's impossible to react to a thousand other writers. It feels like I don't have an effect on the storyline. At least this is how I felt during the Netherworld event.

I'm not a part of a major faction anymore and I certainly don't plan to join one just for a shot at getting better rewards. How much attention is really going to be given to non-central storylines? How will we be informed of who is getting what reward?

The minor plots will naturally have less galactic implications, but they all work towards a central point.
