Omega Narrative Plotting and etc.

No one makes the hero bleed.
Yeah, his post was just pretty badly written. Entirely too dismissive of someone with a sword at his throat. Then he gets shot at and acts like he's got all the time in the world. No, you have maybe a second. It's not super hard to hit the torso of a stationary target standing less than 50 feet away.

Another Godawan *rolls eyes*. This is why I really don't like writing a Force User sometimes. You have to deal with writers with no sense of proportion and fair play. Whatever, let him go find some holocron of 'teach me every exotic Dark side ability in one thread'.

Either that or an amulet of plot convenience or the gauntlets of Marka Ragnos' janitor.

In other news, do we follow the blind guy, kill the blind guy, or something else?

If we choose the first option we can make all sorts of jokes about the blind leading the blind. :p

[member="Wolf"], I'd say to let him go. Ophidia could actually be really dangerous IC. She's a proper Sith Lord with all that entails. Hence Wolf following her making sense.

Meanwhile at the Legion of Ren, we should pursue the weapon. There's nothing the Sith could teach us, remember ;). Some holocron or amulet is not nearly as dangerous as Omega. Or so we suspect!

Ooh DM post. Seems we're being treated like naughty school children. I'll wait for one of you to post and follow your leads. though I vote we try to avoid the blind Sith Lord and try to shut down Omega. Or we could try to kill him.

My vote is to follow him, there's always more than meets eye to individuals like this. Striking him down just yet seems premature until we can gauge who he is and what he wants. Reading the post
But he had his instructions for all those who entered the Academy. And the Lady had not altered those instructions, despite the war raging at their doorstep.
seems to suggest he may be treating us as Rogue Sith Acolytes as he doesn't have instructions for how to deal with intruders. Also there's the very first post
Perhaps those in this place of learning could be suborned in to helping reach the Omega
Suggests there's a possibility of getting help from someone if we play our cards right.

That's just my take on it though, could very easily be a trap.

[member="Samka Derith"]
Ah I didn't notice that.

Yes I think he may be treating us like acolytes.

Obviously could be a trap.

But traps are fun anyway, right?

I vote we follow him.

I am not in the thread, but I really like the effort you make to distinguish the KoR and FO from the ordinary Sith in there. You keep your distance and stay wary of betrayal, possibly plotting to backstab the other DS users if needed. Overall, it really gives the feeling of the FO working as a team.

Great read so far, keep it up :)

Mael is going to be incredibly suspicious but they really don't have much to go on. Probably following will be the best course. Following with a healthy sense of paranoia. They're Sith, they're all about betrayal!

Also, what DM post? I looked through and saw nothing.

[member="Wolf"] [member="Mael Ren"] [member="Samka Derith"] Oooh NPC's for us to play with/ kill.

EDIT: Wait misread, sorry they're using the same blind avatar for someone else. I'll make my post now. Are we agree'ed on following the curtains guy?

[member="Kierel"]
I believe we are.

[member="Mael Ren"]
This whole time did you think we were talking about Ophidia, and not the blind NPC the DM introduced? :lol:

[member="Wolf"]

I wonder at the eventual meet up between the KoR with Jude and Matsu, whether he would be known as the operative of FOSB or not ? If yes, how and why ? I just want to clarify this so we dont end up busting our heads on the wall when we start writing, lol. :p

[member="Jude Falkrowe"]
Haha good question.

I would think the FO wouldn't send multiple operatives in without letting them know who else is on their side. Otherwise you could tell the KoR you're with the FO, and they would have no reason to believe you. Would the FO risk those sorts of complications that could jeopardise a mission? I doubt it.

We can say that in the briefing received before the mission, they know who else is present for the First Order. The KoR wouldn't need to know a great deal about Jude, only that the FOSB has also sent an operative, and perhaps with a pic so they know what he looks like.

New DM post.
Priority: protect our stormtrooper

I think we should cover her as a unit so she can quickly clear the danger zone, hopping from one protector to the other but you're the one in question here, [member="Kierel"], so how would you handle it? Think your armour could take a shot or two?

[member="Samka Derith"]
[member="Doc"] also got mentioned in the DM post, so we'll have to defend him as well probably.

I was thinking we just Force push them out of the hallway and back into the antechamber immediately, go forward and try to find a way to deactivate the blaster fire?

I'm fine taking a hit, perhaps the stormtrooper armour will dissipate most of it but thank you for stopping me from dying heh. I guess it would mark as not Sith as well to work as a unit and together rather than leave the weak (I.E me) to die. I wasn't sure if Doc was playing with us as he hasn't posted anything.

Since I've been saying from the start I have scanning equipment on me, probably a backpack and datapad sort of deal over the snwotrooper armour it'd make sense if we used that to find maybe a power source? Then you guys could use the force to deactivate it or we could just blow it up. What do you guys think? I do think Wolfs idea of force pushing us out the way would also make a lot of sense.
