Dok Varuut
Character
Coruscant, Core Worlds
Dok had the hood of his cloak up, though it was still the same Umbaran cloak he always wore, when he could get away with it. It was a cultural item, and the patterns of UV color on it were hidden to the majority of species. The chill in the air didn’t bother him even on the worst of days. Not because of anything Umabran, Umbara was a dark, humid, jungle world. No, he just enjoyed the cold. His lightsabers were carefully hidden, this wasn’t Sith Empire territory after all, and even if it was, it was better not to cause an undue ruckus just by walking around. He was only here for a few days, he wanted to see the city, and refuel before he headed back to Korriban to get to work on other duties. He’d only been to the city twice before, but he had a little bar in the underground he preferred. He also had, less well hidden than the lightsabers, but still tucked away, a I.M.D. Stub Blaster, it was a backup, and most situations could be solved with a blaster before he would ever need to draw a saber.
Ducking down into the bar, he lowered his hood as he walked in. He scanned the room, before taking a seat at the counter, and ordering a drink, putting down the credits for it without a word. He could probably trick them into giving it to him for free if he wanted, but it was a handful of credits for a drink, there was no need. He rubbed at the back of his neck, his ears and eyes silently watching the bar around him. Seedy bars like this always had information moving through them, and one never knew when something would crop up that they needed or wanted. Dok kept his force presence suppressed, he didn’t need anyone else knowing he was here if he could help it. While his ability to do this was relatively poor, every little bit helped. Most of the other seedy characters avoided meeting his eye, people down here generally stayed out of each other’s way. It was part of why Dok liked coming to The Thorn over other bars.
