One Little Step Further

Ossus
Jedi Temple
[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Ugh.

Oscar had nothing to do. So what would one find him doing? Sitting on a bench in the Jedi Temple, reading a piece of literature about the Force and different views on it. It was not the most interesting book he had ever read, but it was definitely worth a glance over -- if not for the sake of enhancing one's own knowledge, then maybe just to understand others a little bit more.

He had spent most of his free time in the library because his amount of friends was really low and it rarely happened that when he was free his pals were in the temple, too. The Jedi Padawan had quite a lot become one of the most active visitors of the library and he had even thought about actually working there at his free time.

But now, he read a book in the halls of the temple.

Because he had nothing else to do.

The Jedi Temple of Ossus... It was a place that Tugoro had not been to in months. He did not necessarily dislike the place, however it did bring back some rather unpleasant memories from the past. Even so, the skilled apprentice could not deny that there had been good times, back when he had actually had people to call his friends. It seemed like time passed by so fast, for they were all gone, either ranked as a Master or Knight. He had not seen them in quite some time, but he did his best to show that he did not care. It seemed he was faltering in this effort however, for Tugoro found himself wandering the temple's halls aimlessly, still in his Wraith Vapor Armor after returning from the Nar Shaddaa enclave.

[member="Oscar Grant Paxon"] was nearby, sitting upon a bench and reading what looked to be a book. Stepping over to where the Padawan was seated, Tugoro's movements were completely silent thanks to the Dark Man, as he loomed over the Prophet, trying to read a bit of what was within the book he held. It was a record of different views on the force, something that Tugoro had been interested in for a long time now. However, he did not seek books and the like to get answers, he sought those who wielded the force, even going as far to come face to face with dangerous Sith Lords. Of course, he was able to remain unscathed for the most part, his greatest injury having actually been inflicted within a temple much like this one.

Knowing that he was bad at reading, Tugoro would give up, suddenly taking a seat beside Oscar, remaining still. Hm, this wasn't too bad actually, just sitting and relaxing a bit, taking in the sights of those who dwell within the temple. Tugoro acted nonchalantly for the most part, awkwardly staring at the book that Oscar read from time to time.

And then Oscar shut the book closed, turning his head towards the newcomer. He had never seen the person before, he didn't even know if he was a Jedi or not. But the fact that he had arrived so suddenly was miraculous and shocking at the same time. The Jedi Padawan typically saw what was going on around him, or if not, at least felt everything.

"Umm.. hello?"

The initial shock soon turned into an understanding that the man next to him actually was a Jedi, and judging by his hair, he could tell he was a Padawan. Most Padawans wore the braid which showed their rank within the Order.

"I'm Oscar. Nice to meet you!" he said as he shortly bowed to the one who had just appeared.

Tugoro was somewhat of a rebel, considering himself an outcast of the society he lived among. The Jedi had a lot of rules, some of which he followed, and some which he didn't. The braid policy was one he absolutely refused to abide by, for he believed that his hair was simply too good for something as girly looking as a braid. Looking from the book to [member="Oscar Grant Paxon"], Tugoro would smile briefly, quickly saying "Hello" in his rather quick and toneless sounding basic. Leaning back on the bench, the young Padawan would lift his arms, placing his hands behind his head as he began to relax. "Name's Tugoro," he continued, after listening to the human beside him. The young boy would nod slowly, before speaking once more, "What'cha doing?"

The Jedi looked at the person who called himself Tugoro a few moments before answering, his face telling absolutely nothing, not even hinting to a certain emotional state inside him.

"I am reading. I was, actually," he spoke. Then the put the book away next to him - to the other side of the bench. "Not a very amazing book, but one of the few things I can really do here besides training and all that stuff."

He laughs a little bit, but even a fool can understand it was a forced one. Though it sounded like a laugh.

"So let me ask... what are you doing?"
