It would seem that the writer for [member="Darth Shara"] knows how to initiate victories... first it was Junction, then Concord, and we would have won Junction again if not for the power shift, not sure what you did between there and when you won (quite recently) Silken Asteroids, and now the grandest jewel of them all: the Republic's Heart.

I don't do anything. I just set up a place and a plan and the rest is all up to the people in the faction. They did all the work and pulled this victory off, though it was hard fought!

That's exactly how I did the Republic. Key to everything is not being control freaks and just pushing the faction ever so slightly to be active. People want to be active for the most part. Let them be active and good things happen.
