* Dani Stolaris's entry paperwork suddenly and mysteriously disappears in the middle of the night, changed by a slicer from Position 6 to Position 9. It wasn't a big change, but Dani would lose her forward position. Everybody in the sports administration office at Dantooine Station is astonished to find that some splicer hoodlum has replaced her name with... the Crimson Baron?!?! *

The sudden move by splicer pirates to shift Dani from the forward position seems to be causing some controversy on the station. The pirate splicers swore that they would make an appearance at the grandstands to drunkenly cheer for "OUR MATE, THE BARON!"

It would certainly make for some interesting competition.

Not at all! The first lap of the race is going to have infinite racers.

You can always use the default track swoop, which is the DFS-100. RPly, we're saying that people have rented them as part of the entry fee.

Also, I noticed that I wrote in the factory entry that the DFS-100 can only race once and then needs several hours to be tuned and repaired. Perhaps we will say that the races take place over the course of a weekend, so that it makes sense timeline and lore-wise. Then, people can have all sorts of private RP during the event =)

I've found that the best way to do the rolls easily is to use the DND/Pathfinder Dice Roller, because it screencaps the day and time. Then you can just use your computer's snipping tool and host the screencap on something like imgur

I can put down the DFS-100 for you. If you find a good one in the factory later, we can put down something else.

Oh, and I should add also...nothing precludes race winners from just buying a better bike for the preceding laps. XD (Not that it will affect your dice rolls in any material way, but yay character advancement!)

You can be your own pit-crew if it is an NPC, and the NPC is codex approved. No problem.

I'm fine with no technical pit crew benefit with the rerolls, pretty much just throwing myself in the race as as a joke

I mean, I guess we could make it work if we had someone hold up a picture with the date and time, but that would be a heck of a lot of trouble. If we were doing only one race, it would be fine, but we have to make sure to do the dice rolls quickly.

What i'd suggest is to make the rolls in the DND roller, screencap, and then put [spoiler ] tags around the pictur.
OR take a verifying pic with your IRL dice with the date of your post in the picture, and then upload that picture.

You can use the IRL dice roll.
BUT,
If there is no pictorial verification of the day/time of your post next to the dice, then it counts as a 1.

The dice on the site is visible to everyone when you roll in your post. We’ve used a lot of dice mechanics recently in Kor’ethyr threads if you’d like me to send you examples.
IMO it’s the fairest way to roll because everyone is using the same method and it’s displayed right in your post
