(OOC) Of Alien and Men - Fall of a community

Hello all, I am Doctor Ponds. In the past of my character's history, I have mentioned a small group of aliens and humans alike who have formed, and continued, a small religion of their own involving the "spiritual" life of plants and their healing powers. Though it was a small group, it was still targeted in the end. This is the part I would like to discuss with you all, well, those interested.

The fall of the religion isn't completely set, though I do plan to make it such with a roleplay based a few years in the past. It will feature a tiny war, between the religious doctors of plague, and whoever wants them gone, for the help of good or evil.

The main story-line will be more involved with politics than it will with battle, but as some may know, most politics lead to battle. Between the changing environment of the doctors and the civilians who fear change, I have a few major roles open, and for any not, I could easily make a few NPC's to rule them out.

If you're open to be in charge of any of the following, please PM me or comment below who you'd like to be. Keep in mind this thread will go on for a decent amount of time, though if you do have to leave for whatever reason, it's fine.

Head Doctor of Plague: The head doctor, one who's "in charge" of making order in the group, and making sure everyone stays in peace.

Doctor Neutral: The neutral beast who looms on ensuring war between the two sides isn't too unfair. Takes many cautions to make sure no one gets too beaten up if they can help it.

Rebelling side leader: Fear of change has lead this character to bring Doctors of Plague into war.

Troops, Politicians, Small leaders: In charge of ensuring the destruction of the opposing team, be it by words, threats, or actual firepower. This can be based on either side.

Other: Your character, and their natural acts.

More positions are opening, keep an open mind for ideas and help.

To A Mouse

"But, Mousie, thou art no thy lane,
In proving foresight may be vain;
The best-laid schemes o' mice an 'men
Gang aft agley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!

(But little Mouse, you are not alone,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes of mice and men
Go often awry,
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
For promised joy!)"

by Scottish poet Robert Burns

“Of History and Hope” by Miller Williams
But how do we fashion the future? Who can say how
except in the minds of those who will call it Now?

Let's go with a political figure.
