"There is," the Count affirmed, before shrugging. "And... I hope I keep it, too." There was always room for doubt. That their busy schedules would get in the way. Or that one of them would... pass. All Alicio knew was that he had been happier with Amani than he had ever been without her.

Amalia's own sweetheart brought it's own smile to Alicio's face. "She sounds lovely. And a princess, at that. Certainly wouldn't hurt House Teral's political standing..." He shot her an easy smile. "Joking, joking."

"No, she sounds great." Atrisia's current Senator, however, was a staunch corporatist. A political faction that Alicio could hardly stand. Most were opposed by principle to Alicio and his proposed social reforms. But Junko cared about the common people, maybe she could be an ally. Or, at least, someone to drink tea with. Atrisian beverages held a soft spot in his heart. "I would love to meet her, too."

She smiled at him "try and keep it love makes the galaxy worth living in and makes life worth fighting for" she said. She could sense his love for her and his doubts she gave him a reassuring smile "embrace love when you can and cherish memories of time together when separated" she gave in advice hoping it would ease his mind.

"its alright but i honestly wasn't thinking about political or economic standing when we started dating it kind of just happened but hopefully she feels the same" she said. With a smile thinking of junko.

"She Is great and she cares for the people within the common wealth" she said she had heard of the senator and had met him in a ball or two. He was very corporately centric but that was to be expected of one who's family owned it. "I think I can arrange that mister senator she said with a smirk.

Alicio found a small smile at that. A year ago, he'd completely discarded the idea of love. It was only when he fell head over heels that he realized just how much he'd been missing.

"Of course," the Count said, nodding along as Amalia said politics had nothing to do with her and Junko. "I completely understand." He had the luxury of his family not pressuring him to love anyone in particular, though. For a smaller house such as House Teral, the pressure to find someone of high standing was likely intense. If true love had been found, while still conforming to those pressures, Alicio could think of no happier ending for Amalia.

Alicio nodded along. "That's something she and I have in common, then. I'd love to schedule a talk with your princess." He grinned puckishly, then sipped his tea, draining the cup.

"Thank you for stopping in, Duchess. This was... a nice lull from my day. Is there anything else you'd like to discuss?"

She understood the pressures of political standarding for her house and that dating royalty even if it's atrisian royalty helped her house out hugely. But she had a genuine attraction to junko was glad she didn't have to marry some fat older noble for political standing. "I know it looks like I'm only with her for improved political standing and it does help in the long run I'm just glad I didn't end up marrying some really old fat noble" she said honestly.

When she heard he wanted to talk to Junko Ike she smiled "Well no promises but I can try to arrange a meeting between you and her while working on the new ship yard for the refugee city" she said finishing off her cup of tea as well. "No I believe that was all but remember if you need anything I'm willing to help if possible" she said as she stood up giving alicio a pleasant smile and began walking out.
