Matsu perked her head up from the room she was in, her hair around her in a ring with the longer robes. Her attentions on the book in front of her as she rose up and stood to her full height bringing her attention around. Slowly Matsu disrobed leaving the heavier robes there while she was wearing smaller white one with her hair being pulling into a bun and design flowing down to her ankles. Her disc saber on her hip while her other blades were visible on her bass belt. Full of gadgets and equipment she could fit while she was walking to meet the one who was asking for her now. She came and saw others there while clasping her hands behind her back. She looked at her padawan raising an eyebrow though. "Yes padawan."

"Your lightsaber skills sound as though they are coming along quite nicely. With some practice, you could be well on your way to becoming a Jedi. In fact, I think you could be ready to go into training as a padawan already."

Nef took out a datapad she recently purchased and connected to the order's mainframe.
"Might as well get your information processed."
The knight passed her datapad to him. She wouldn't mind training the kid, the seemed like they could get along.

Ready to go into training as a padawan already?! Arturin was already farther than he thought. Arturin felt something he hadn't felt til then; confidence. Not cockiness or overconfidence, but the confidence to know that if he worked hard and concentrated on his dream hard enough, strived to fulfill it, he could do it.

"Thank you, [member="Nefertari Sovint"]" Arturin said as he carefully took the datapad and entered his information. He never anything typed so carefully, making sure to make no mistake. Arturin handed it back the the kind Jedi. Arturin hoped all Jedi were like her.

The sight of his old master filled Joryn Kaylem with memories. He turned towards her and gave a small, respectful bow. "Master Ike. It's been too long already. How have the years since I left treated you?" Her expression was, as always, unreadable to him.

Matsu looked at her padawan and bowed her head while she spoke. "The years have been good for me as I see they have been for you." Slowly her attention was drawn around to the other things but she returned it bac to the padawan. "So who are your friends."

Once her padawan, always her padawan, Joryn thought. His sense of sentimentality perished the thought of correcting her. "[member="Arturin"] is here as a learner. I actually only recently became acquainted with him. I'm afraid I come here on serious business." He paused, looking at the two others, engaged in a conversation. "Is there a place where I can speak with you in private? It's a matter of great importance to me."

He nervously fingered the pin on his tunic. Once again, standing in front of her, he was a child being judged by a teacher. Even as the representative of an entire planet, bearer of a great burden of responsibility, he felt small. I guess you never truly leave your past behind.

Matsu looked at him and bowed her head in acknowledgement while she was moving to the side and motioned with her hand. Seeing the others but also listening for what he wished to bring before her. "Very well, tell me what is so urgent." Matsu offered a smile though while watching him and the black pools were a little wider taking in the details of her padawan to see what had him coming back here.

"Master Ike, I'm sure you're familiar with my governorship of Ord Radama. However, with the recent Imperial expansions, our world is nearing closer and closer to the front lines. Given the history of the Radama Void, it's quite possible that it will be a target for reclamation by the Sith." Kaylem let the word 'Sith' hang heavily in the air with all its implications - ones of death, violence, and sorcery. Of millenia of evil and tragedy.

Kaylem removed his pin, looking at it. It was the symbol of one of his ancestors, a Sith symbol. When his system was crushe beneath the Old Empire's boot, the print left upon it by the hated enemy of the Jedi was destined to linger on it forevermore. The [member="Matsu Ike"] he knew would recognize its origins, if not the specifics. It held no great treacherous significance - rather, it had become something reclaimed by his family - a rune of terror appended to all the good that they would do.

"I ask your help. I was hoping you could bring this threat to the attention of the Jedi Council. Tell them that we could use the support of additional Jedi."

Matsu looked at him and listened and then at the pin as she raised an eyebrow presenting her hand to get the pin and examine. She waited but was paying some attention while thinking about what he was asking and with the sith being a threat across the entire galaxy and they were stretched thin. She was certain one might be able to listen but getting a hold of some of them would be hard possibly. Matsu offered a smile and bow of her head though while sliding her sleeve up for a wrist pad she began looking into. "We might be able to get through and a message to [member="Corvus Raaf"] or [member="Connor Harrison"] but I am not certain if they would respond back. I am not the most popular padawan, it is what allows me to help people.... and I prefer it over the alternative." Her attention though went back to him while typing out the message of a padawan's concern for sith forces on his home planet. A look while she sent the message. "Is this all that you came here to discuss?"

No. He thought, looking into his teacher's deep, dark eyes. I came to tell you that I regret leaving. That I acted out of obligation, that I never wanted to part ways with the Jedi. That I only wanted to do what was right, that I made the wrong decision. That things can be like they were before.

"Yes, Master Jedi. It's a true pity that we can only meet on such formal business, but I have duties to attend to as the Warden." Joryn paused. "Perhaps we could continue to correspond, when the opportunity presents itself."

Matsu bowed her head seeing him while she was wanting to see more from him and look below the surface but invading a mind beyond the surface thoughts was not a helpful thing while she was moving to place a hand on his shoulder. "Of course we can, I am usually on my ship and exploring around the galaxy instead of just being in the temples."

Joryn left in silence. As he walked the winding paths from the temple to his offices, he felt acutely the hollowness where the Force had once been. He looked straight forward, his expression full of uncertainty. "I won't regret it." He whispered, to convince himself.
