Opinions on Rebellion?

We've been asked if we are interesting in supporting a rebellion in the near future.

What I want to know eveyone's opinion on that and whether they would participate.

is there not enough conflict in the galaxy as is? Rebellion against what? Not a whole lot is unified or sufficiently suppressed from what i have observed.

PvP? no.. i kind of like the character i built and i am not risking her at the random gamble of dice. Not that she can fight anyway.

Invasions and Rebellions are no longer decided on a duel basis, but on a lack of salt story. If that is your main concern, so people would refrain from doing the usual shit they used to do nowadays.

It's a possible Primeval rebellion and as far as I see it, there's a T3 the Dominion recently sealed so it might be there. I am not aware.

Mandalorians tend to be mercenaries, they do not care for what cause they fight as long as they are getting paid. PvP on Chaos is really..uh...non-abusive is maybe the right word ? In the sense that you decide what happens to your character. No one can kill you or take a limb of you unless you decide it. Basically you write the outcome of other people's attacks upon you.

Unfortunately recent participation in a rebellion where I played both sides has proven the same crap exists. I just want to be sure that I won't be dealing with the same people who constantly godmod and powergame. None of that has changed. Even with the new way things are decided.

If it is against the GA or FO count me out.

So....we don't know who is rebelling and we don't know who the rebellion will be against? Do we know which side we'd be on? Rebel or dominion? This sounds like a shot in the dark hoping it hits something. Kinda like we're stretching for threads?

Just because we are going back to our roots, doesn't mean we take every job that comes our way. We aren't guns for hire, that's a job we can choose, we are warriors in our own right without the need for some hack with deep pockets.

If this is just about gaining a list of threads under our faction belt, I'm not interested. If it's actually about creating a real story for our resurgence then I'm there.

It doesn't have to do anything with stretching thread lists, what's the point of that? Also, I am not forcing anyone to do anything they don't want to.

I was asked if there would be any Mandalorians who would sign up to help out another faction in their rebellion (if it even occurs) while also trying to see what the opinion of our member base was to such threads because I've been trying to find out lately.

P.S: Primeval might be rebelling the Dominion, possibly the T3 they just finished ? Not sure.

Sorry man... don't mean to. I am down for something that is story driven if that helps. If we can work together to craft a story I'm down because nothing is at stake for us ooc.

It's just on the ooc level that certain factions are difficult to work with as opposition.

Also totally or somewhat unrelated...

Is the Primeval a revival of the one that died, or is it something different entirely?

It's alright, man, I completely feel ya. OOC shit on Chaos can be very, very toxic. I really dont want anyone who feels uncomfortable or dislikes such threads to feel forced to join. As I said I will never force you to join threads. Heck I think I have been in only one of our threads lol. Anyways, opinions are always VERY important to us staff to get the feel of the faction. We'll always try to be flexible to accomodate everyone but without diverting traction that our core members have joined us for.

The Primeval is being ressurected by its previous owner - Boethiah. He asked me if any Mandos wanted to lend a hand so I thougjt I'd bring that up along with getting some feedback grnerally from the memberbase on such threads.

We will always, as a faction, focus on story primarily. I can see it as a - good money from the Primeval and other assets that will help us financially and non-financially in our restoration project (colonies and whatnot). Second - I see it also as a possibility to bring back Mandalorians stuck in that area of space ( since its close to where the Crusaders used to operate).

But if it doesnt feel like story or again anyone has any dislike to that - no problem. I wont force anyone to do what they dont like!

On the OOC level - the Primeval is chill but I have no idea about the Dominion. :/

Long story short - if someone wants to help the Primeval, free to do do. If someone does not thats absolutely fine too!

I know I've been scarce lately as my muse has been finicky, but here's my personal two cents:

It all depends on the who, where, and why of it for me as in regards to story... Does it make sense for my character to do that?

ICly for Briika in this particular case, she would not help the Primeval for the fact that the medic nearly died defending Wayland when they invaded the Mandalorian world in the past. She has a very long memory and may forgive, but never forget ones actions against herself, family, and/or her people; just stubborn that way.

If we were to join the rebellion, we'd be pointing our guns at both factions. Not to mention we don't have the resources to do a military strike, and I don't want us to stray away from our story.
