Barrier-class Destroyer Krayt Pearl
Etti System, CSA
Levantine Sanctum Free Space

The Baktoid-built Barrier-class Destroyer had served various incarnations of the CSA well, and with the amalgamation of the CSA's capital into Levantine territory, the massive vessel was, by all accounts, the largest non-Silk Holdings-built starship in the service of the Levantine free worlds. A symbol, in Boolon's estimation, that Silk's heretofore monopoly was not immutable. That, and this ship could beat the tar out of nearly anything Silk had ever made, if he was correctly informed. Pacifist though he was, he could acknowledge the value of sending a message that the Levantines were to be taken seriously.

Excellent rooms had been prepared for mingling, presentations, Q&A sessions, R&D experimentation. The mastermind of the Treaty of Ithor was pleased.

The independent worlds which comprised the Sanctum had pooled their decision-making power and invited representatives from quite a few corporations at the highest tiers.

Through negotiation, demonstration, proposition and impression, one of these corporations would walk away from this conference with an exclusive permit to build themselves a shipyard in Levantine space, contract with the Levantine worlds for starship creation. A few corporations had been invited that did not normally delve into starship manufacture or yard construction, presumably out of curiosity as to the perspectives, methodologies and assets which they might bring to the task. It was anyone's guess as to who the Levantine worlds' leaders would prefer -- or if they would agree with the patrollers, the Forcers and spacers, who had no power here.

Peaceful and neutral venue provided by Boolon Murr and the Priests of the Mother Jungle, and company. Play nice.

Each of the three permits will constitute a Major Faction Contract for the corporation that wins it, and a major world of the Levantine Sanctum will become available as a Location to be added to that corporation's factory submission.
All posts must be substantial.
Winning presentations/demonstrations/bids will be decided by the Levantine Sanctum faction administrators, not me.

A single Stormhead Class Frigate would appear from hyperspace, exploding forth in a burst of light and energy. From the hangar bays came a small shuttle, and two of the latest starfighters in Incom Corporation's arsenal. Onboard the shuttle was Alyesa Praxon, a woman of many faces it would seem these days. Recently receiving an invitation to Levantine space, of course, she dealt with them before in small quantities but nothing what this was rumored to be.

No matter, she was here really to pick the brains of others and if she was able to gain something out of it more than business contacts, than so be it. It wouldn't be long before the shuttle would request clearance and the starfighter escort would break away to return to the Stormhead Frigate to which they came from. Alyesa adjusted herself accordingly within her seat as the shuttle made it's approach. Was she nervous? Of course. This was one of her first major conferences as Chief Executive Officer of Incom and well she no doubt had a plethora of rumors swirling around about her. Well, who really knew. She was surprised when she met with [member="Danger Arceneau"] how she knew she was the Senator of Alderaan and who knows what else.

It wasn't long before her shuttle pilot announced they had arrived and with that Alyesa would stand and gather a small bag and her engineering pad, no assistants, no bodyguards. For the first time in a while, she was flying in solo. It would be an interesting sight to see....

"Senator Praxon, welcome to the Krayt Pearl," said Boolon, bowing gently. "Here -- a map of the ship's accessible areas, as well as the code of conduct."

It was a basic thing, pretty much boiling down to don't snoop in the ship's classified regions, don't commit industrial espionage, don't start fights, and don't endanger the planet or the system's space traffic with whatever demonstrations you might perform. Common sense, all told.

"We're very pleased to see that Incom could make it," he added, sincerely but without elaboration.

When the Corellian Engineering Board of Directors received the invite to a summit within the Levantine Sanctum concerning a possible contract, it did not take much thought to whether or not to accept the offer, nor did it take much thought to send the Board's most esteemed and valued member. Ayden had done great work for the corporation over the year, and they felt confident that he would be capable of securing the contract for CEC interests.

The ship that dropped out was neither the biggest, nor fastest ship the corporation had ever produced, but it was the most advanced. So far, only two of the ship had ever been produced. Perhaps with this contract they would be able to push the ship into limited production. Alongside the frigate were four escort fighters designed to be part of the demonstration. Once clearance had been granted, the four fighters escorted a single shuttle onto the summit ship and returned to their escort. As usual, Ayden stepped out in his long coat and signature wide-brimmed hat. He brought with him a number of folders with data for the summit in case the Levantine Sanctum needed more convincing.

He spotted an Ithorian that he was mildly surprised to recognize. Walking up to him, Ayden offered a respectful bow, neither showy nor condescending. "Master Murr. I am glad to see you suffer no long term effects from the terrorist attack on Naboo."

Alyesa bowed softly at the waist and quickly took up the map and code of conduct, she skimmed it over while she listened to Boolon, it was pretty basic and understandable. A smile would cross her lips as she began speaking in the native tongue of the Ithorians. Clearing her throat before she did so.

<<Thank you, I hope that Incom Corporation can do some good here. Is there a place where I can set up and get to work?>>

It was a tricky thing to speak the language, but it was something she knew well. And of course, [member="Ayden Cater"]'s approach caught her briefly off-guard and she took a step back. She offered a polite smile and held her bag as he spoke, allowing Master Murr to address him as well.

She had met with the Board of Directors once, or atleast she thought she did, how else did she secure the deal to sell the Aegis design to the Omega Protectorate. Ah, the Aegis, such a wonderful application of dropship technology. Of course, it'll be even better once it gets a fine coat of Nightshade to the hull...

[member="Alyesa Praxon"] got the Ithorian equivalent of a smile with eyebrows raised; as Boolon had nothing a human would recognize as eyebrows or, indeed, a mouth, his expression might have been anything. <<Certainly, Senator,>> he replied in the same tongue. <<The map should see you to the suites, workshops, auditorium, and other facilities which you have been allotted. Peace be with you.>>

He turned as [member="Ayden Cater"] approached. "Lord Protector Cater," he said, switching back to Basic, "welcome to the Etti System, and thank you for your good will. I only wish I could have done more for the people of Theed. In the meantime, the Sanctum welcomes Corellian Engineering Corporation. Here -- a map of the ship's accessible areas, and of course the code of conduct."

He gave Ayden what he hoped was a significant look. Subach's ties to some of the Naboo attackers were known, but this was neutral territory, with peace enforced as best as the Sanctum could manage it. He rather hoped that the CEO sent a proxy, just to avoid complications.

Ayden took the map with a second, smaller bow and conveyed with his own expression that he understood that this was a peaceful meeting. He had no intention of attacking anyone, and in fact would have welcomed them to disgrace themselves by attacking him. It would give him a reason to try out a new toy. Besides, if he truly wanted the destruction of Subach, he had dozens of more effective means to accomplish that.

Taking his leave so that the Ithorian master could greet any others who might come along and turned his attention to the other person present. "Senator Praxon. How nice to meet you once more. We're still performing field tests, but all accounts I've read of the Aegis-class are that they're exceeding expectations. I certainly look forward to what new products Incom will unveil in the future."

Silk's representative, CEO and shareholder Selka Ventus, AgriCorps washout and sometime Metellos gutter rat and spacerail magnate, arrived in a ship that needed no introduction, not to a Levantine world. The Pathfinder-class long-range exploration craft Baobab, a luxurious, fully automated heavy frigate that moved like a light freighter, was twin to the Daragon, the ship that had introduced many of these worlds to the galaxy. Thus far, Silk/EDY had made the Sanctum everything from state-of-the-art command ships to innovative tactical interdictors.

The Baobab docked at another port, and Selka made for the labs.

As his shuttle drew near to the Krayt Dragon , Judah was wondering about the invitation extended to Salacia Consolidated concerning several contracts available in the Levantine Sanctum. He was already quite familiar with Sanctum space and found himself surprised at the building of shipyard. It only seemed to make sense. The space was expanding and gaining some notice. However, he was unequipped to supply the Sanctum with shipyards. No way he could dive in and try to compete with some of the large players no doubt called to also show their skills.

Fleet maintenance was another story. Salacia would be well suited and thus Judah would be doing his best to convince any assembled leaders of the same.

Arriving at the summit, it would just be himself making the presentation. Several datapads were tucked under one arm as he left his shuttle. Free hand came to straighten his tie, slightly nervous. Spotting what looked like the summit holders or delegation, Judah nodded and extended a hand in greeting.

"Thank you for the invitation."

[member="Ayden Cater"]

Alyesa offered [member="Ayden Cater"] a rather large smile before nodding. "It's a pleasure Mr. Cater, I'm glad she is living up to your expectations and hopefully more." She adjusted her items quickly and tossed the engineering datapad into her bag and zipped it up. She would extend her hand to Ayden out of courtesy. "Well, if you'd like, feel free to stop by and talk. I have something I'd like to show you before I announce it to whomever decides they want to listen to me."

She would chuckle. "If anyone does at all, ya know?"

As Ayden engaged with Alyesa, Boolon murmured a departure and moved on to greet the next wave of arrivals. Judah Dashiell of Salacia Consolidated -- that hair, even for a human, was unmistakable, though to the best of Boolon's recollection he had never met the man. If he remembered right, Salacia had helped build some kind of facility for undersea manufacturing -- no, mining -- somewhere in Sanctum territory, and Dashiell's name had long been associated with these worlds.

"Mr. Dashiell, welcome to the Krayt Pearl." Boolon shook the proffered hand and bestowed upon Judah a ship map and a packet of other materials. "I'm told that certain influential defenders of the Sanctum worlds speak highly of you, and the leaders of Kyrikal, Laekia, Etti and other major worlds are looking forward to your presentation, or demonstration, or however you may choose to approach this."

[member="Boolon Murr"]

"Thank you." Judah took the materials, sliding them under his arm with the datapads. "Your words are too kind, as I am sure the planetary representatives are being too kind as well. If you excuse me I think I need to get started. Pleasure meeting you. I can only hope we meet in Sanctum space once again."

Nodding once more, Judah walked away, blowing out a breath. Apparently he was forgetting to breathe now. Picking up the ship map from underneath his datapad pile, he pulled it out to follow along. He quickly stepped down the gleaming halls, eyes darting to the map and back up to the corridors every so often.

Finding a quiet presentation room to finalize his ideas, Judah flipped on the lights. Datapads were set down on the long polished table as he quickly opened them, pulling up files and his notes for the Maintenance contract proposal. Idly he wondered if he should have brought along his maintenance droids but figured the breakdown and holoslides would have to do.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
There were some companies out there that were really strong with so many large projects, and sadly and thankfully, Haor Chall was not one of them. The small Xi Char staffed engineering firm was open to working with a lot of different companies to accomplish their goals. Mostly it was Arakyd Industries, but as of late, there was a lot of talk with the small firm becoming a subsidiary of Santhe Corp once again. And truthfully, Marek was okay with that.

If he could get a position with the larger company, that was fine by him.

When the invite came from the Levantine Sanctum representative, Marek ddn’t want to turn it down. Definitely certain that some of the larger corporations had more to offer than he did, it was always a hope that he could impress the right people with shuttle deals. Egressing from hyperspace in the Dark Tide, flanked by a pair of Onith Class Shuttles that were carrying Vulture Droids in their hold, but were not heavily armed, he didn’t want to enter the system with a flanking of war droids.

Taking his shuttle and docking to the Barrier Class Destroyer. There was a moment of nervousness as he was part of the Confederacy, but really, here? Here he was just being a merchant. All his weapons were powered down from when he entered the system and his lightsaber was stowed about his vessel when he walked down the boarding ramp.

This was going to be a learning experience. He had his messenger bag complete with outlined designs and concepts on a datapad, both future and present products, as well as all the other offerings not requested, just in case.

Marek Starchaser of Haor Chall was greeted at once by a big slow Ithorian with a decidedly nonhumanoid smile. 'Mister Starchasrr, welcome to the krayt Pearl and the Levantine Sanctum. I am Boolon Murr of the priests of the mother jungle. Heres your introductory orientation packet with ship maps, code of conduct, facilities available to you, demonstration venues and so forth. Feel free to present, bid, demonstrate, or otherwise impress the dignitaries."

The Haor Chall representative seemed to nuurture a powerful Force connection of indeterminate alllegiance. Interesting.

Silk had commandeered one of the many secured rooms which served as exhibition laboratories, presentation chambers, and negotiating venues. By telepresence or in person, various Levantine world leaders watched the first of Silk's presentations. The immense shipyards of the Galactic Imperium and the Fringe Confederation had been built with Silk's consultation and based on proprietary Merrill modular designs. In presenting Silk's history of shipyard construction, Selka found herself waxing eloquent over materials standards. She'd been a rig pig on the Bastion job before her ill-fated transfer to Consolidated Bacta Limited's Ahto City facility. Happily, that meant she could speak with a little authority on how Silk handled shipyard construction work at a level below that of executive.

Now if there was anything Arceneau Trade was known for was shipments. Being the largest shipping company this way out of the Southern Systems held a measure of clout for the woman. But she was no fool. Anyone could easily come in and decide that a third party would do better. There was always a need to expand, to change and adapt along with the market.

Supply and demand. Daddy done told her that is the way this galaxy works. The only way for a company to survive is to adapt.

So when the invitation came for the deals, it was the transport shipyard permit that made her green eyes sparkle. Now if she could get a claim to that one, well... it would be a good way to get a move on into transport shipyard building. Arceneau trade already had in their possession and skillset the means of providing emergency shipyard repairs -- and transports were their main focus.

So, it was of no surprise that the Trade Queen would come to volley Arceneau Trade for that particular goal in mind herself. She would soon find herself aboard the Kryat Pearl, a smile beaming on her face as she settled those green eyes of hers upon the Ithorian [member="Boolon Murr"].

"Well... ain't this a pleasure," she'd coo out, slowly walking over towards the Jedi Master with a winning smile. Behind her, several of her associates would be carrying the items she would need for her own presentation.

Ayden nodded and while looking at the pad. He had plenty of time before the requesting CEC demonstration, so there was no harm. And perhaps this would be another exclusive deal he could broker with Incom. "By all means, Miss Praxon. Lead on." As they walked, he noted a few other corporate heads that had appeared. Some he had expected, like Miss Arceneau. Others we was surprised to see. The Sanctum was casting a wide net, it seemed,.

Alyesa nodded softly as she reached back in her little bag of goodies and pulled out her engineering tablet, she set the bag down and began bringing up the schematics for the Stealth-X. She quickly bypassed the codes, entering them furiously before skipping to the camouflage section and bringing up the actual specifications on the Starry Night Anti-Detection System. "This is essentially a similar system to what the XJ-3 Models utilized many years ago, except I've managed to increase the output by 9% overall, through layering." She said as she handed the datapad to Ayden. "I was wanting to apply this to a select number of your dropships, as well as the other stealth systems that would come on the new variant of the XJ series to be released."

In Umbris Potestas Est
The ship from Subach-Innes that arrived was not grandiose, nor was it ludicrously fancy - the vessel that the Subach-Innes founder had chosen to utilize was merely a Kressh-class Frigate, one of several Sith ships Circe had acquired post-New Order. The vessel's white hull indicated that it was not under the flag of any Imperial faction, but was merely a neutral vessel. Circe's Veratus-class shuttle was escorted to the larger Star Destroyer-sized warship by a pair of ex-Imperial TIE Agitators, also painted white to indicate their neutral status. As the ship landed in the vessel's hangar bay, she ran her hands through her hair, expecting the worst.

"Hmph." was the first thing out of her mouth as she stepped down the ramp. "No blaster fire, no Jedi waiting to run me through... It's a beautiful day." Her eyes caught those of the Ithorian down below, and he would certainly be able to tell that she wanted to get to the business wheeling and dealing sooner rather than later. "My apologies for taking a little longer than was intended, but my ship had to perform a series of several jumps to ditch a ship that was following us."

It had taken some time for Anija to gather what she needed and make her way to the summit. While the opportunity was an excellent one, Anija wasn't entirely sure if she was up to it. Sure, she was an excellent diplomat. But, this was a bit out of her depth. Frowning slightly, she made her way from the shuttle and to the reception area. She wore her new beskar'gam, but had made certain to deactivate the weaponry, instructing ANNE not to activate it for any reason, unless she was threatened.

Stepping into the reception area, she looked around. She had several datapads tucked under her arm with holos and schematics for the Goten class dry dock. it had been recently designed by the engineers at Mandal Hypernautics. By her estimation, it was well worth the time and she felt it was a good candidate for the summit. She strode across the room, and cleared her throat, giving Boolon a polite nod. "Su'cuy.." she said, hoping she wasn't interrupting.
