Image Source: BOSCH Ignition PICK UP Pulse Sensor
Intent: To prevent more accidents with jetpacks.
Development Thread: If needed

Manufacturer: Outer Rim Engineering & Development [ ORED ]
Model: OR-1CM
Affiliation: Marketplace thread or Roleplaying thread [Closed Market].
Modularity: Sensor chip can be replaced if broken or glitchy, rather than buying a whole new sensor

Production: Mass Produced
Material:
Durasteel and electronic components.

Strengths:

  • Prevents accidents or deliberate fatal damage that often occurs with jetpack wearers combating Force Users
Weaknesses:
  • If the jetpack is not immunised/resistant to EMP/Ion/Electric damage, it can short circuit and glitch thus not working.
  • Does not prevent damage to jetpack framework (bending of the material that the jetpack is made of).
  • If applied on fuel engine, the fuel is dumped (see Description)
Description: As a Mandalorian and a former Force User, Rohlan perfectly knows what advantage the Force plays against jetpack wearers such as Mandalorians. More often than not, Force users would attempt to pressurize the jetpacks resulting in nasty explosions. This sensor is made to combat that.

The Jetpack Accident Preventor, more commonly as JAP, is designed to completely halt the jetpack, literally turning it off. It works for both compressed air jetpacks and reactive engine jetpacks. Halting the actions of the jetpack and opening valves (they come with the accident preventor).

The valves are utilised to relieve the pressure that is applied from the external force. If it is a compressed air functioning jetpack, the opening of valves will equalize the pressure within with the pressure outside. If it is a fuel using jetpack, the valves open to equalize the pressure but also dumping the fuel within as fuel is generally lit by high pressure.
