- Demographics: The primary population of Outpost Talos is made up of Jen'ari human military personnel, further divided between technicians and combat units. A small percentage of the population is made up of various alien races within the Jen'ari Empire, including pure blooded Sith.
- Accessibility: Outpost Talos is in the middle of a large valley system, placed specifically on top of a large hill overlooking a lake at the center of this valley. The only way to get to the Outpost itself is by air or by boat, with all land traffic impossible due to the deep waters.
- Description: Outpost Talos is a massive structure built on Saleucami, rising nearly three kilometers into the air, with a further two kilometers dug further into the surface of the world itself. A majority of the Outpost itself are the two massive towers rising parallel into the air of the planet. The majority of the long range detection equipment are spread out through these two towers, along with the advanced long range communication devices. A single platform juts out from the side of the southern most tower, roughly half a kilometer in diameter and serving as the sole landing pad for the Outpost. Numerous weapon emplacements line the sides of the massive structure, as well as being spread out across the island and valley chain where the Outpost is inhabiting.
- North Tower: The Northern Tower of Outpost Talos houses most of the bases long range listening and detection equipment, able to gather intelligence for several sectors in any given direction. Recreational areas are also located in the North Tower, where site personnel are allowed to go in their free time. Most barracks and armories are also in this tower.
- South Tower: The Southern Tower contains most of Outpost Talos's long range communication equipment, allowing it to keep in contact with the Jen'ari Empire at all times. The South Tower is also connected to the only landing pad of Outpost Talos, and contains a large interior hangar bay for vessels not in use or preparing for launch.
- Command and Control: Built two kilometers beneath the surface of Saleucami, the Command and Control center is a large bunker containing all the staff and equipment required to oversee and run Outpost Talos. Command and Control also contains all power generators for the Outpost, as well as direct control over all defensive weaponry for the Outpost.
SECURITY-High
- Cannons: Several dozen capital ship grade Turbolasers, taken from Jen'ari Empire warships and placed on the planet around Outpost Talos, as well as on the Outpost itself, allowing the base to protect itself from orbital and suborbital assaults.
- Garrison: Outpost Talos maintains a garrison of one thousand Imperial soldiers, on constant vigilance against all threats to the important instillation. They are also equipped with several dozen vehicles, ranging from Jen'ari AT-ST walkers, and hovertanks.
- Sealed: The entirety of Outpost Talos is sealed from the outside world, with the only direct connection to the outside planet around the Outpost being the landing pad entrance, the primary entry point to the Outpost, and a few small exterior garrison doors, to allow the garrison soldiers of the Outpost to sally forth against any potential threats.
- Shielding: When needed, Outpost Talos can raise capital ship level shields to protect the island it is on.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Following their defeat and subsequent departure from Chiss Space, the Jen'ari Empire, under the guidance of their Emperor, decided they could not afford to be taken by surprise as they had been in the two invasions, again. As their convoy of vessels made their way across the galaxy, a small detachment was left on the world of Saleucami, where they began the construction of Outpost Talos. The weaponry and shielding of several Imperial Star Destroyers were stripped and given to the work crews of Outpost Talos, who integrated them into the general design, turning a simple listening post into a small planetary fortress. Listening equipment and communication supplies were sent in secret by the Empire once the initial structure was completed, as well as an extended garrison and technical division to ensure it runs smoothly. Outpost Talos has only recently come fully online, and has begun its mission to gather intelligence on the enemies of the Jen'ari Empire, and serve as the first warning station of any potential threats.
