Padawan Season

With the Order settling down, and finally establishing a foundation for itself Sochi had been busy with tending to temple needs. Still being busy, she had to return to her usual duties as instructor. She had recently been assigned another Padawan whom goes by the name of [member="Varesk Fey'lya"] . She had recently seen her previous Padawan to knighthood, and was eager to meet her next.

She had some business to tend to within the gardens so had in fact sent a message for him to meet her there. She had done some background checks, just so she knew some minimal information when they spoke. He was more of an older Padawan, and this was ok with her. The restrictions on age were now obsolete and she had only the passion fr teaching those about the force and the ways of the Jedi.

She held out her hand, and saw plants grow slowly, but fasters than they usually would. This was her Consitor Sato ability. She waite the arrival of her students while tending to the plants.

Recent history had seen a monumental sum of stability brought to the Order of Silver Jedi; a fact that meant an opportunity would soon arise for the aging Bothan to begin his formal education under the stewards of Light. Having lived a rather full life, wroth with espionage and subterfuge, spending days and nights within the company of the Jedi was a welcome change in pace. As opposed to fretting over the potential of betrayal or an untimely death, Verask could finally breathe easy. What's more, now that the Temple on Voss had been completed and the foundational issues completed, the silver-maned Bothan had the rare opportunity to study under a bonafide Jedi Master. In fact, only just that very morning, he had been sent a transmission from his soon-to-be-Master, one [member="Sochi Ru"], who instructed him to meet her in the Temple Garden. With this news in hand, Verask Fey'lya made his ways throughout the halls of the Temple with a literal pep in his step.

Then, upon crossing the archway, the light of day greeted his eyes, causing a momentary squint as they adjusted. Seconds later, he was greeted with a vibrant sight that made all his former experiences...seem grey and devoid of life. Whether it was Coruscant, Bothawui, or some seedy underworld in the middle of nowhere; a common trait was a divine lack of greenery. Yet here, the garden thrived beyond the Bothan's wildest dreams...and teemed with the enigmatic presence of the Force. Heartened by this, Verask took slow, ginger steps along the stairwell; for his aging, aching body could not handle a quick jog down like his younger comrades. However, this was perfectly fine within the Order of Silver Jedi, for patience was paramount! As his feet met the fresh grasses of the garden, a content sigh escaped the Bothan's lips, announcing his presence to the Togruta who would oversee his training.

Slow, yet confident strides then bore him many paces closer to the woman; but he came to a halt only three paces away. With respect all but bleeding from his posture and countenance, Verask lowered his head in greeting before introducing himself promptly. "Good morning Master Jedi." he began, righting himself after a moment, "My name is Verask. It is an honor to make your acquaintance. Allow me to extend my sincerest thanks for taking it upon yourself to educate an old soul such as myself."

Upon hearing the voice of another, she turned to Kay her eyes upon the face of the medium of the voice. She was content to see that it was the one whom goes by the name of [member="Varesk Fey'lya"]. She immediately garnered a subtle smile, that exuded her will to welcome him and greet him with a warmness native to her. She lowered her head to bow as well, as much she had respect for him as well. The age restrictions had changed over time, and so she knew she could learn from him and vice versa. Surely he had wisdom he could share from his own many experiences; this would prove very fruitful.

"Greetings Varesk, and no the pleasure is surely mine, as its my duty to tend to the newer members of the order, and to instruct them in our ways. I'm honored, that you have chosen me as a mentor for you." She said softly.

"Well, when most students come to me they have a set path they are trying to follow. A set of skills they wish to be instructed in. Have you some? If not I can surely come up with some skills that I think will cater to you." She said following up her statement.
