Pain is a understatement. Mandos & Pubs vs One Sith [Temple of Pain]

Location: On the way to power generator
Objective: stay hidden then sabotage
Allies: GR and Mandos
Enemies: One Su..I mean Sith

I snuck as quietly as I could around corners and down halls towards the shield generator. I came to a room full of weapons and armor and with three to four people inside. I whispered myself "This must be the armory". I scanned the room for a minute until I saw a rack full of unarmed grenades. I used the force to quite my footsteps then I sprinted to the rack as fast as I could. Once I got to the rack I ducked behind a crate and activated the entire rack of thermal detonators to my control frequency. I said to myself "That should do it" though I might have said it to loud because the guards looked in my direction and pointed there blasters.

I used the force to push two guards out of the room and before the third on could shoot I ignited my saber and did a sarlaac sweep. I sliced his gun in half and spin-kicked him out the room. All three were unconscious so I continued down the hall. When I got a fair distance I activated the detonators and the room went up in flames. "That should keep the Sith busy for a few minutes". I continued on to the power generator.

What was she doing? Running away, trying to provoke a chase? As Nulgaht watched [member="Sifa Tirel"] sprint off a slaughter a Mandalorian the Sith Knight could only remain still aware of his positioning. It was not in till the woman whipped out a blaster pistol that Nulgath could finally react, As the shots were fired the Epicanthix's hand fell on his belt flicking the switch on his Verpine Energy shield. The Blaster bolts suddenly were redirected randomly on impact along with the womans spinning lightsaber too, though one must admit having a plasma blade that closed to your body was slightly nerve racking.

Turning his body to the side he commented on her clever attack. " Impressive but lacking foresight." Ironic. Just as he finished his sentence the force quickly warned him of a impending attack. Relying on the trust and intuition of instinct Nulgath rapidly spun to the left briefly watching some type of jelly fly past him. Nasty! As he stumbled back slightly the Sith knight fell on his butt a projection was cast in front of him by his command. Identical to his own appearance, the projection gripped his thigh in pain as the arachno staff made contact with its leg.

Eyes opened slightly as Nulgath watched his projection act how he would if his knowledge of doppelganger and Illusions didnt save him. Deactivating his Energy shield Nulgath strambled to his feet dashing back to get more space. Drawing his Verpine Shatter Pistol from his robes, Aiming at [member="Khallesh"] the Vong attacker he fired a single shot from the small but deadly weapon.

Had Zaiden the time, or urge, to search the woman's mind he would of laughed. For a being that time seemed to matter little to, she certainly did not understand the way things unfolded about her. Everything Zaiden had performed had not been clumped together into a single moment; he had tired himself significantly by summoning a smoke demon, then from there began draining those around himself, followed by utilizing his Cloak - which to one whom used it near every moment of the average day was nothing, combined with it being his specialty...well it was not difficult to simply create a larger Cloak to envelop the two. Then came the use of telepathy, to which he didn't even speak to her, so how she knew of and thought it was to her was confusing.

The thing to make him the laugh the greatest would be the thought that his demon had not acted on time. But in reality, there were two separate instances of attack, one having dual strikes. Neither hit, were acknowledged, or even mattered as Zaidens opponents writer changed what the demon did, then attempted to annihilate it in one fail swoop.

But as said, he did not go into her mind.

When her Spear was returned to her hand, Zaiden reached over his shoulder to where sat Viper, which he removed from its scabbard. Hefting the weight for a moment, he smiled to himself: it had been a long time since he was truly in battle.

But then it was time to bring his attention to the field; electricity shot repeatedly from all around them in the woods, the primary target being Braith. Zaiden found himself sighing and shaking his head, the kid was going to get himself exhausted far to quickly. Yet, it was a potential diversion, if he so sought it.

Corvus was closing in, and Zaiden found himself trying to recall if it was indeed she that he faced years ago when he fought the Grandmaster Selena Halcyon. She bore some similarities. In this day though where every third person resembled the second, he couldn't be sure.

Glancing at his ally, the Demon set into motion, lunging at Braith to attempt stripping her of her Spear. While the Demon was moving, Zaiden immersed himself into the Force, a serene happiness reaching him as he vanished from all detection.

This was the perfect time to do so. While his Demon moved, he would pose his own distraction: the woman should logically believe Zaiden would now strike. But instead he waited for the fight to begin between his creation and the other.

TL;DR ignored illusions, arachnostaff bit at Mudrac's real form. Shot in the shoulder, armour cracked. Switched whip for spear stabbed down. Blorash reaching for Mudrac's back

Unfortunately for the Sith traitor, neither using the Force for mental manipulation nor illusions had any effect on either her or her arachnostaff. The Yuuzhan Vong and all their biots brought from outside of the Galaxy were outside of the Force. They could not be sensed through the Force, they could not be directly affected by it.

So as neither Khallesh, nor her Arachnostaff could see the projection that the Sith had created, the organic weapon instead went for the nearest foot of their immobile foe. She saw him reach for a weapon, but at this distance it was far too late to take any action. There was no sound as the weapon fired, but there was a resounding “crack” as it hit her pauldron. A verpine shatter pistol was essentially a slugthrower, though it used magnetic fields to accelerate the round. Whilst the potential for kinetic damage was high, the amount of energy and momentum it could transfer to a target was limited by how the weapon was fired. All the kinetic energy and momentum imparted to the round was also imparted to the user, so one could not use a shatter pistol to fire a round as deadly as a sniper rifle, for instance.

Pain shot through Khallesh’s left arm as spidery cracks expanded across that piece of armour, the round lodged firm in it. Her left hand went numb as well, making the manoeuvre to shift the whip-formed arachnostaff into a spear and spin it around quite difficult. She felt the flesh already swollen underneath the pauldron, knowing she would be left with a bright bruise that covered her entire shoulder. Still, she was Yuuzhan Vong, pain that had been earned in battle was to be welcomed. No quarter to be given to a traitor who turned on his allies mid-battle.

Her weapon had been spun in her hands, the jaws having returned from potentially striking the real Nulgath and doing whatever damage it had achieved. Now she took two quick steps and launched forwards. Her numb left hand merely acted as a guide for the spear, her right hand the driving force. She stabbed down at the seated sith, the poison barbed tail of her arachnostaff searching for a vulnerable area.

As this happened, behind the Sith the Blorash expanded out of its pouch. She had aimed it low, to try and stuck her target to the ground, so it hadn’t gone too far past the mark. Two gelatinous tendrils reached out towards Nulgath’s back, feeling for something to grasp and hold with their nigh-on-unbreakable grip.

Objective: whats TL;DR?

Yuuzhan Vong, What could be said about them really? Abominations? Monsters? Demons? Over all they were dead and nothing to Nulgath but their fight prowless and zealotry was to be noted as their biggest strength. Learning within One Sith Mudrac knew this well, He had followed a Vong into battle to assist him fight a Dragon...But a question still remained. Worst monsterosities had been slain by the Epicanthix cunning mind, Why did this Vong prove so difficult.

As [member="Khallesh"]'s was swung through the illusion Nulgath cursed in his breath as he had forgotten about what made the Vong infamous. The weird staff hissed as its fangs pierced into the Terantatek hide on the thigh area as the Knight retreated. As the wind came in the form of a breeze the Sith knight could feel a sight wetness on his leg, he was bleeding slightly. On his butt watching the female Vong bring down her wrath in point.

Unstable, on the brink of panic Nulgath ripped his shoto saber from his vest and activated the red blade. Letting out a cry of pain and argovation as he parried the arachnostaff to the side with a simple but wild strike forceing him to lean on his back were the Blorash quickly found the outer layer of the Siths robes. Glancing back as Nulgath attempted to pull himself up he grunted as he ab muscles worked hard. His outer robe was glued to the ground, but thankfully Nulgath's person was not. Slipping out of the robe revealing a simple black short sleeve shirt he escaped with a roll to the right before the blob could expanded enough to eat him fully?

Things were not going as planned. The temple was falling, this was true but at what cost. Kezeroth was dead along with countless others. Switching to a reverse grip of his shoto saber Nulgath grit his teeth in frustration. " Karking abomination!" He said aloud as his off hand extended into the air crackling. Hand formed in the shape of a fist and his eyes emitting a slight purple glow. Although Darth Mudrac was a scholar, his temper was explosive. Today he would realize that it was not in the heat of combat that he excelled, but when he knew he was out matched and down in the dirt was when he shined most. Lightning exploded from his palm as the hand opened, preforming a Force Storm of lighting that blasted in all directions.

With [member="Khallesh"] taking up his attention, and the man raging, Sifa saw her opportunity to strike.

The telekinetic bind on her lightsaber still held, and as the man pulled his hands up into the air Sifa smirked. Her palms tightened, her saber swiveled in its cyclical path, turning over and over again in a flat disc that sliced through rock, people, and anything else in the way. She scowled, and then wrenched her arm back.

The lightsaber made a sudden turn, spurned by the force.

The blade came back, the flat disc of spinning plasma pulling itself towards the Traitor Sith. It spun low and fast, turning and cutting through a Republic soldier as it made its way back towards Sifa. The blade would come calling, aiming to slice the mans legs out from underneath him in one quick cut as it moved back towards the apprentice.

For just a moment, Khallesh thought the traitor was going to attempt to redeem himself in combat. For just a moment. As she moved in, to engage him in glorious combat, he raised his hand. She clasped a razor bug in her hand, but before she could whip her arm around, bursts of blue shot out in all directions.

For a Knight, to waste his strength by throwing his energy in all directions was a bizarre move. She took a half step before her nerves fired involuntarily and dropped her to one knee. She snarled and tried to call out the coward for his damnable behaviour, but her jaw was locked tight. Pain wracked every inch of her body.

Still, the determined warrior was aware of her surroundings. Saw the blade from her pale companion come spinning in. To die in battle was the greatest accolade a Yuuzhan Vong warrior could achieve. She edged forward, inch by inch, heedless of the long term damage. She only needed to keep his focus for victory to be taken.
