Seventy Maersk-class freighters? A Sacul could be used to build eighteen of those at once if fully extended. It might be slower than assigning an Egroeg apiece, but it was better than nothing. Plus it would be able to put the Sacul to good use. In a few months Maersk Star Freight would be getting at least thirty Maersks. Kameks, Tofolks, Zambonis could be built using Egroegs while the Neimoidian Yachts could be built on the surface, and perhaps even a future bomber unit designed for use with the heavy munitions being developed on Ringo Vinda, knowing that, in many cases, a single heavy bomb or two may prove to be more effective than eight standard bombs. But there are still technicalities needing to be solved before the operation could be completed, like the registration of the drydocks upon delivery.
"I suppose that drydocks require permits to be deployed; is there anything in this deal that concerns the registration of a drydock in Gyndine space?"
"Technically, registering a mobile drydock is the same as registering a space station: we know about it and it may actually be pretty straightforward, about as fast as Factory Judges have it for a new model of space station to be approved, but with such a prompt process comes a cost"
"We'll pay for the registration of the space stations in full upon placement of the order"
"There is a reason why the bulk discount has only been applied to the droids: the risk premium. Crossing space all the way from Soceras or Ringo Vinda is a dangerous exercise for a drydock, even if equipped with class-4 hyperdrive"
"Actually, we can offer free registration. Not only to you two, but to your Kiribian friends, too. Usually, most parties owning space stations will register theirs but it often goes unmentioned in the costs of ownership of a space station or a starship, for that matter"
It's only a drop in the bucket as a gift for a set of drydocks worth 255 million, equipment included.
