The professional armed forces of Nothmir are organized into Peacekeeper Corps, hybrid fleet-ground elements with a specific but flexible structure. A Corps is commanded by a single individual holding the rank of Corps Commander, and while retaining flexibility they specialize using unique equipment and modifications to doctrine.
A Corps is made up of one or many different forces of different sizes with different taskings in different locations that may link up as needed. Forces are composed of different detachments that are specialized in a single role, but are transferred between forces to improve their effectiveness or reinforce them while keeping strategic and interpersonal cohesion.
Down from detachments, companies (referred to as "squadrons" when made up of armoured vehicles or "wings" when made up of starfighters and similar craft) are the next largest size at between 50 and 200 personnel depending on their specific loadouts, restrictions and corps-specific doctrine.
Infantry squads are made up of between 5 and 10 individuals, while an armoured section may be between 12 and 30 crew members.
General structure and minimum rank for each position.
The Peacekeeping Corps maintain three general rank categories: enlisted, NCO and officer. While all enlisted men can progress to become officers it is possible to bypass this by joining the officer cadet program.
Personnel who would not normally be part of the FPCs can also receive basic training and become specialists.
