Percision over Strength

Orex was seething. "The Grey". He hated the word. Orex was no Sith and certainly no Jedi and now he would suffer the brunt of fanatic absolution. Jedi and Sith alike viewed themselves as the absolute power within the Force and according to them, if you didn't align with one, you were the other. The Grey were a useless bunch, enjoying the Dark Side but indulging the Light also. This left with them with no purpose, no significant presence. Useless.

Orex was deep within the Dark Side and understood the implications of raw Power. But he simply refused to align himself with the Sith as he felt they never quite achieved the standard they themselves set. He was something else. But he hadn't quite named it yet.

Orex watched as Ravenous charged toward him and descended in an aggressive arc. He ignited the Purple Blade and brought it above his head to meet the streak of red making its way for his skull.

Impact and a tremendous spark of colliding light as Ravenous brought his blade down upon Orex's head.

"Do not be mistaken by the blade and my position in the Force. Darkness is the path to strength, there is no balance."

He knew it would likely be a fruitless endeavour to continue trying to persuade Ravenous, but he did not intend to give up. Allies were always of great benefit. Orex pushed against Ravenous's blade with nothing but Anger and managed to create some distance between the two.

"Your presence in the Force is weak. Do not allow arrogance to cloud your judgement. I can be of great aid to you."

Orex began to realise their similarities. The scar on the sides of their faces, their painful past and their unhinged anger. Orex was prone to blistering rage that clouded his sense of logical thought but had recently begun to control it under his new mentor. Yet this control was not something he had mastered just yet and he could feel his Anger spilling into his mind. But the power that came with it was enticing.

Ravenous skid along the sleek black metal floor stopping himself and turning his anger fueled grin towards Orex. His hair was swayed back from his defensive black revealing the skin that connected the top jaw to the bottom had surfaced itself. Ravenous was horribly disfigured from all of his experiences and this proved only to increase his valor. He removed his black glove from his hand showing all of his fingers covered in black decayed skin.

"There's a reason i focus my abilities on physical attacks." His memories immediately revered to a battle he fought a long time ago, There was a powerful Jedi and she did something before thought unthinkable. She corrupted his force affinity disrupting the very connection he shared with the force and greatly hindering his ability, His eyes became a beaming blue and he stared into Orex's soul. "I'm not done." His hand slowly raised to point directly in front of him, As if on cue a Arc of force lightning sprung forward towards the man before him.

Orex was surprised to see that almost all of Ravenous' injuries were identical to his own, specifically the Face and Hand. Upon seeing Ravenous' blackened hand, Orex flexed his own and gripped his saber tighter.

"There's a reason I focus my abilities on physical attacks"

A cliffhanger that didn't reveal much but Orex was already aware. Ravenous' presence in the Force was significantly less than most individuals Orex had come across. Although it was likely he could overpower Ravenous, Orex was still intent on getting through to him. That intent was quickly disappearing though as Ravenous extended his fingers and fired an arc of lightning. The image of Orex' training on Commenor flashed in his eyes and he saw his Mentor doing much the same thing. His Mentor was much more powerful than the opponent he faced now, and the lightning that had been shot at him then was beyond what Ravenous had mustered.

Orex' reflexes sprung his charcoal palm out to meet the lightning. Anger flooded down his arm into his hand and greeted the lightning with fierce defence. The bolt crackled and struck his Palm but never broke his flesh.

A shout filled with Anger and Orex dashed forward. His combat form took hold and Orex began to clash with Ravenous with aggression. He swung into his ribs and collided with Ravenous' defence with furious strength. Now, the goal was to simply wear him out. Orex continued to swing and jab, all with immense energy and strength.

Ravenous' lightning was met with the palm of Orex's hand. This in infuriated him immensely as his visioned dawned on his bleeding jet black fingers, He prepared to strike again but as soon as he turned to face his opponent there he was his blade inches away from his ribs. Using a more aggressive style of Soresu he pushed his blade away from his body, He continued to block jabs and strikes all the while feeling not the least bit impressed with his plan. He thought to himself "Oh come on! He could have at least made and EFFORT to make it not as obvious as to what he was doing." At first sight Ravenous simply thought he was stupid but upon closer inspection he realized his rage was in full force crashing down upon him with overwhelming might.

He continued to defend against his attacks for this was his ploy to buy time. At this point every decision Ravenous made was in full insight and foresight to the consequences that may ensue. Ravenous locked blades with Orex and began pushing him towards the door behind him the two. Around 15 Sith troopers entered the room and set their blasters for stun they took aim and fired, Ravenous immediately stepped away and proceeded to violently gnaw on his bleeding fingers he gushed blood everywhere and even broke one of them severely.

"This is what i'm willing to do if it means a better galaxy."

He placed his hand back in his glove and his eyes returned to their natural grey color as he stepped slowly but surely towards Orex.

"This is why you must come with me....or Die."

Locked in a stalemate with Ravenous, I pushed against him but found myself stepping nearer the door. As I did I felt the nearing presence of several men. As if on cue, Ravenous disengaged me and I spun to see a squad of Sith Troopers storm in. I raised my blade and began to deflect the bolts all fired simultaneously. The Dark Side imbued me with immense anger as I tried to keep up with the onslaught of blaster bolts. This would have been easier if the room was more narrow. But there were troops on all sides. Knowing I would never be able to keep up, I dropped down and poured my anger out of my palm and pushed many into the wall behind with immense force.

My lightsaber training was simply inadequate to deal with the situation I found myself in. I stopped deflecting the bolts, reached out and grabbed a pair of Troopers. With them in firm grasp I threw them into the remaining men with enough force to audibly break many of their bones. However, in the time it took me to carry this out, several stun bolts had connected with me. The only thing stopping me from collapsing was sheer rage. I turned to face Ravenous who was now approaching me but found myself extremely limited. My Nervous System was hanging on by a thread while the ions from the bolts coursed through my nerves. I was bordering on paralysis but still able to walk and function.

"What sort of Sith do you think you are? Your emotions contorted by a pitiful WOMAN." I growled my response, almost shouting, "Kill her, not me. Destroy that which weakens you. You know this. You know how to gain great power and yet as far as I can see, you simply ignore it."

My posture was slumped. I was fighting just to stand. I held my sabre in an iron grip. If I dropped the hilt, then I was too weak to continue. But I didn't, and remained stood infront of Ravenous.

A visibly fatigued and enraged Ravenous continued to pace carefully towards Orex he was complacent in his stride to continue on. Without warning Orex released a force repulse that sent him and several of his troops flying aimlessly into the walls surrounding them. Head first a loud clash was echoed as Ravenous hit the wall head first i might add. In the process dropping his Crimson blade as it sheaved itself falling to the floor and leaving its master vulnerable.

He looked around at all the damage that had been caused in what only could have been a minute and some change. Orex stood just barely clearly in a daze from all the stun bolts that managed to connect. Ravenous stood and waded towards the man his rage and hatred pouring from him in waves, Feeling it full force was like having fire lit upon you.

"Your hatred for all living things is a overwhelming advantage. But in the end it also serves as your downfall."

He stopped just around 3 ft from the man his back was all but destroyed and he hunched over with a extended palm. He pulled the saber from the mans hand and cut both his knee caps causing him to collapse to the floor.

"My love for that woman IS a strength. It keeps me from surrendering to the madness and chaos that is the dark side. The dark side of the force is a tool and it shan't be the one utilizing you."

He used the force and lifted the man off the ground immediately slamming him back down in a attempt to knock him out.

"When you wake i will explain why i did this....Sweet dreams."

A guard entered the room and looked at ravenous ready to receive orders.

"Take him to the brig and place him in the best restraints we have...I leave it to Nyla to prepare him until my arrival...i have other business to attend to."

I woke in a daze. Surrounded in darkness I found myself in a quiet room unable to move. But my restraint was the least of my problems. Once I was conscious, my knees made themselves known. Both of them were on fire, seething with pain. I clenched my jaw and tried desperately to resist reacting to the immense pain that encased my body. My torso was racked with aches and I was confident a rib or two had been broken. But I knew what this gave me. Pain was like a stimulant for me. Most would call it sadism, my appreciation of pain, but I simply regarded it a strength. My knees fed me with an energy I knew all too well. I sat up slowly, bringing myself to a seated position upon my legs. Closing my eyes I gazed into the nothing I saw before me. I felt my nerves, gorged on the pain they screamed at me. Soon the pain left me, and was replaced with a new harmony. An angry harmony, one filled with fury as it propagated through my veins and paradoxically gave me strength.

Hours past until I finally wrenched myself from my meditation and stood. I considered trying to break my constraints, but elected against it. Using the force to free my feet however I did to preserve some dignity. Shuffling along the corridors wasn't an idea I was partial to. I walked around my room, assessing it's layout in the darkness until I located the door which I opened without much trouble.

"Hey!-"

A guard stood next to my improvised cell and spun to greet me with a blaster. Before he could continue I threw his head back into the wall. His skull caved and his brain fell victim to shards of bone. He slumped to the ground and I continued my walk. I had no idea where to go, and Ravenous, according to a lack of his force signature, had left.

After several dead troops and a lengthy walk trying to find my way around the Destroyer, I soon came upon the entrance to the bridge. I walked through and immediately lay eyes on the back of Nyla. The Woman.

Nyla turned her head only to see a battered, bloody and ruined man walking towards her. I can't say I didn't expect the subtle look of surprised fear that swept over her when I entered.

"Mauda, I was abou-"

Her sentence was cut short, I spread my restrained palms and dragged her towards me. Her movement was halted when I threw my head into her nose and she fell back onto the floor. The bridge of her nose was broken and bleeding, but she paid no attention to that. She looked down for a moment, trying to compose herself before looking up at me. I gazed back at her with nothing but anger within emotionless eyes.

"Where is he" I spoke with composure that was barely holding.

"I don't know"

She didn't know. Of course she didn't. But fear was a useful ally. I dragged her to her feat, pulled my wrists apart and grabbed her by the throat.

"DO NOT LIE TO ME!"

Service under Ravenous had taught her to resist pressures such as these. She was certainly doing well.

"I don't.. know"

I gazed into her eyes and tightened my grip. Just as her face went red I dropped her to her feet and looked away. He would come. Soon enough.

The forest was dense and filled with life and beauty. The slight tender touch of the crisp breeze blowing through the air managed to penetrate the inner layer of his robes. He sat motionless in the middle of a small circle where the trees seemed to part leaving a open space for snow to fall on the moist soil on the ground. It was surrounded by birds and insects there was a marketplace not too far from there Alderranian wolves and even what Ravenous could only describe as anthropomorphic bugs. The area in which he laid still was a well of force energy or more precisely a beacon that only those attuned and hearing of the forces whispers could hear, In most people this was merely a echo or a whisper but to force wielders Orex in this case it was a call.

Ravenous halted his psyche and transcended into the cosmic force causing his bodily functions to stop in the process. His body unable to support itself fell to the ground and inside he saw the force power of every force user in his proximity. Most were beings who had no knowledge of their power and others were even Jedi. None of that mattered until he found a signature that was so powerful and warped.

"Orex Mauda!" His voice was powerful and attention grabbing.

"I am aware that you require answers for what transpired earlier." He tone went down to a pleasant less condescending tone, He acquired such skills in his long term as a persuader and master manipulator.

"To that end i implore you to come face me at the coordinates i will be sending you and if you ever want to return to D.E.A.D with fruits of your labor you will make haste!"

At this point he might as well be yelling at Orex. Snap Ravenous woke up and took multiple heavy breaths his chest felt condensed his eyes were watering he was more pale than he should be and he was freezing cold. In retrospect challenging someone to a duel after stopping your body motions is probably a bad idea. He sat up and gave Orex his location.

"Now we wait."

"You will make haste!"

The endless torrent of anger that whispered in my ears was suddenly when Ravenous' voice penetrated and shouted at me. My nerves fired, assuming he was here. But I knew better, and simply listened. Once his instructions concluded, I stood motionless, looking out into the abyss from the bridge of the Destroyer.

I turned my head and faced Nyla, who was still stood near me. I locked my eyes with hers and looked at her, into her, with penetrating rage. She looked back at me, composed and unwavering. I had tremendous respect for her stability. She had performed exceptionally well. I clenched my fists as my anger swept over me and walked towards her.

She said nothing as I paced past her, just stood. I immediately made my way back to the hangar. My aches and pains had all but left me, replaced by an equally invigorating energy, one that could only be attained through suffering. Something I was all too used to. Wasting no time, I stormed up the boarding ramp and typed the co-ordinates into the autopilot. As the Burnt Hand took off, I descended the ladder to the cargo bay and retreated to my personal quarters.

I removed my battered cloaks and underarmour and threw them to the side. Reaching into a built-in wardrobe I took out my Armour. A final glance in the mirror and I realised the extent of my injuries. My burnt grin was torn open in several places and bleeding, cheek bones were swollen and punctured and one of my eyes was heavily bloodshot. Hm. A meager price for knowledge. Knowledge of myself, of my enemy.

I waited for the ramp to descend. Reaching out I connected with Ravenous, felt his internal conflict raging like a violent fight. I didn't "Speak", simply being near him I knew he was aware of my presence. The ramp lowered with a hiss of steam and I descended, boots impacting the Durasteel surface with metallic noise. It wasn't effort to find him, I knew where to go. After at least a minute of walking I found him. Sat in the middle of Alderaan's flora, if not for his beaten and bloody dark cloaks, I would have mistaken him for a Jedi. I reached for my Sabre, only to grasp at nothing. I then remembered he'd taken it during our fight. No matter, if needed, the Force would be all I would need.

I didn't speak. Only watched and waited.

The minute the burnt hand even came in range of the planets atmosphere it became evident to Ravenous that Orex was coming and therefore had made preparations. He stood up to face the man and his injuries were screaming out in agony from a far. As Orex silently approached Ravenous not concerned with stealth but rather felt no need to talk for his actions would speak louder. Ravenous without a single word uttered opened his cloak and extended both his hands horizontally and out flew 3 Lightsabers. One of them was his own...The other two belonged to Orex.

"You see master Orex you must die. And just to be spiteful i opted to do so with your own weapons. But first let me explain why your demise is evident."

At this point Ravenous' voice had no connotation in it. Where there was once extreme Unkempt rage had been temporarily suppressed to an apathetic state of mind. The 3 Sabers ignited and began violently circling the Dark lord, His hands were for the first time in a while open and his posture was free and agile and his eyes were completely blank with no expression of them yet this was shrouded by the mask the entombed part of his persona. Ravenous had thrown a incomprehensible amount of credits on the ground and into the snow yet this had no affect on task at hand.

"This was never about money or power. As you can see i do not care for material things such as money. No the reason you must die is your hatred for all living beings it is a disease that plaques the world around us and it must die with you and it must die with others."

His mask fell to the ground revealing a look on his face that appeared to be that of pure horror his body was shaking and his eyes were once again bloodshot. The thing is the shaking seemed to be coming from the fact his veins were showing his skin was pale and other deformities. It was as if he was dying slowly.

"Now do me and your galaxy a favor and...die." Ravenous rushed the man at blinding speeds his blades spinning at blurring velocity and overall this would a fight to remember.

And he called himself a Sith. He stood before power he had never truly touched and yet still regarded it with opposition. He opposed that which he embodied. He was no Sith, he was a broken man in a mask with a connection to the force. I was disappointed, but to destroy this man was no significance to myself nor anyone else.

I caught sight of my Sabres. A fleeting glance before they began to viciously spin around the Sith Pretender, colours mixing in a tri-colour rainbow. Evidently, I won't be fighting with my blades. I stood back and shifted into a combat stance.

"The reason you must die is your hatred for all living things.."

Looking into his eyes I saw nothing but suffering. And not a kind I knew. The man was dying from the inside out, barely holding onto his own life. I could have never guessed why this was. But it was an advantage nonetheless. One I would use.

Ravenous rushed towards me, blades spinning. With no time to react accurately I simply dropped to my knees so as to avoid Ravenous' blinding advance. As he rushed past I splayed my fingers and threw out a push filled with as much energy as I could draw. Having broken his concentration, I reached out and wrenched my original Black/Red hilt from his influence. Bringing it up to my face I ignited the blade and waited for Ravenous to regain composure.

He rushed the man blades spinning furiously and at intensifying speeds he drew nearer to the mans neck with his blades preparing to deal a finishing strike only to be greeted by the outstretched palm of Orex priming to deal a push of extreme magnitudes. Ravenous saw this and attempted to break off...too late he was launched high into the air blades still spinning at increasing speeds. Without warning one of the blades was ripped from his griped and cut his finger off on the way down.

"AHHH! OREX!!!!!!" His voice was gruff and filled with pain and anger. He sent out a palm and sent forward a force push that incinerated everything in its wake.

With agility and grace while still in the air he grabbed the now falling sabers and ignited them turning his attention to Orex. He pointed his blades sideways of himself and began to utilize force speed to preform a wind blade slash at high speeds.

"Lets see you come back from this you bastard."

An aggressive wake of Force Energy barrelled towards me, burning everything. I couldn't do anything to avoid this wall of fire but turned away so as to allow it to wash over my back. An angered cry escaped my mouth as this wake roasted my back. My armour protected me somewhat but the intense heat still burnt. I spun back around only to be greeted by more spinning blades, this time descending upon me. I met his spinning blade and extended my own into its path, halting his spin but pushing my arm away. Quickly I pulled it back and countered what strikes I could. The man was dying slowly, not only that but completely out of control. I continued to maintain Defence in a bid to exhaust his decaying body.

With this in mind, and barely able to keep up with two blades against my one, I took advantage of his lacking Force Signature and splayed the fingers on my free hand, sending a push into [member="Darth ravenous"]'s gut.

Thrown over his shoulder Ravenous landed behind Orex who immediately released a Force push that lifted the man off his feet causing him to release the contents in his stomach onto the ground. One again he landed and proceed to spit blood on the ground as bile began to pool in his mouth. He looked up to see Orex standing and ready. Infuriating to say the least he ran at the man and sent forth a flurry of strike all intent on the hilt of the saber Orex was holding. Maximum speed he was a sonic boom even to himself.

He switched his form not wishing to take Orex head on he used force speed to bounce around the surroundings the trees the ground all sending him past Orex again and again and again. He went for the final blow.

"Can you even keep up with me boy?!"

Ravenous charged me. I stood at the ready but simply could not effectively keep up with his flurry. I tilted my blade with minimal swing so as to counter his almost unpredictable strikes. Fortunately, i didn't have to maintain this for long as Ravenous disengaged me as quickly as he had begun. He proceeded to bounce among the trees, becoming a blur to me. Each dash returned to me with a fresh strike. I managed to deflect the first few, but I couldn't track him well enough. I spun my body only to bear an aggressive slash across my back. My armour withheld but only to a certain degree. Before I could compose myself, Ravenous had returned. I brought up my blade only to have it slashed by the hilt, only narrowly missing my fingers. Once his blade struck my handle, I released my grip, avoiding dismemberment.

"Can you even keep up with me boy?!"

Indeed I couldn't. But I knew he was fading. On top of that, he was comparatively weak. His final pass, I could only glance him as he leapt from a tree towards me. Recalling my Mentor's advice, I abandoned trying to defend and instead switched to combating the Darkness with Darkness, as he would say. Ravenous flew towards me, I extended my burnt right hand and, utilising his momentum, grabbed him with the Force. I coaxed his body over me, avoiding his blades and threw him into the tree opposite. My anger had boiled, and my core was contorted with rage. As I dragged him through the air with the force towards the tree, anger escaped my lips and I let out a desperate shout.

I followed close behind and as he smashed into the trunk I wrenched the two blades from his vicinity, caught them and ingited them near his throat.

Staring into his suffering eyes I panted, out of breath.

"You are a broken man, Ravenous. You have destroyed yourself. My position now is simply to complete what you have brought upon yourself."

Ravenous flew towards the man at blinding speeds no real intent on where to strike next only the blade from his hilt to determine. He moved to deal the final blow only to find himself lifted off the ground and over Orex's body his blades missed their possibly final chance. No matter he thought to himself he prepared to spin around and strike again only to find himself launching his back into the tree behind him at almost 130 kph speeds. His Mandolorian alloy armor stopped his spine from shattering completely but still it was severely crushed as he fell to the ground still in preemptive shock from the crash.

He couldn't move his body was utterly and completely paralyzed to the point where he almost didn't even notice Orex approach. Unexpectedly a call came in on his communicator.

"My lord?! My lord are you alright?! The vital transmission provided by your suit is reading critical! Hello? MY LORD?! AKABANE?!!"

Her voice was panicked and in a frenzy he wanted to answer....he needed to answer. Orex saw his love and admiration for that woman as a weakness, But he saw it as a crutch. As if breaking the laws of physics he got up off the ground completely ignoring the blades that were aimed for his throat. His motions were careless as he stood on his feet lifting himself up with his back alone.

"Listen to me. Were all doing our greatest. To become amazing to fulfill our dreams. A Sith's goal is for power and that power comes from passion. You know nothing of the dark side...You see my love as a weakness but to me IT IS......MY POWER!!!"

He arms and neck were limp and his voice was raspy and deformed. Not to mention his sentence sounded more like a roar from a beast than a mans coherent sentence.

"Ill kill myself. Ill tear myself limb from limb before i give up the one thing in the galaxy that make me want to live another day....I am broken." His eyes squinted and his mouth turned into a grimace as he said through his teeth.

"But i am no man." Immediately he fell to the ground unconscious.

My curiosity bested my anger as Ravenous rose to his feet. I could have moved the blade inches and cut his throat before he stood but the fact that he was moving at all came as quite a surprise. His suffering was intense, his body hanging on by the skin of his teeth. His only motivation to continue living was Passion. But a Passion quite different to that of a Sith. Passion for another, for Nyla.

"You see my love as a weakness, but to me, IT IS MY POWER!"

I watched him utter his words and thought to myself. This woman is his crutch. What if that crutch was kicked out from underneath you?

"I'll kill myself. I'll tear myself limb from limb before I give up the one thing in the Galaxy that makes me want to live another day.. I am broken"

His final words summed up precisely what I had been trying to make him aware of since our conflict began. But his emotions clouded his mind. He couldn't see the logic that ruined him. I thought to speak, but before I could, the man collapsed. I would have assumed he was dead if not for his faint force signature still emanating from his body.

Looking at his near-corpse, I contemplated what to do next. I could kill him. End his suffering and exact my revenge for what he had done to me. But he hated the Sith. He hated himself. There was potential within him yearning to be released through extensive persuasion. If I could take him, evacuate Nyla from his mind and correct his broken core, he could see his potential realised.

I grabbed him by his collar and dragged him back to my ship. Once inside, I dumped his unconscious body in the Crew Quarters and took his communicator, only to crush it to nothing in my hand. I returned to my position at the Helm and plotted a course for Transport Dock Alpha, on Coruscant. As the Burnt Hand took off, I stood from my seat and made my way to where Ravenous lay. Once inside the Crew Quarters, I sat on a chair near his body and awaited his awakening. I analysed his beaten body, observed him.

Perhaps my first Apprentice for my New Order.

His physique was battered but still mostly whole the bed Orex laid him in was at the very least sturdy not very comfortable but that was besides the point. His dreams were filled with visions of horror and ash all of them laying waste to his psyche as he began to rise up setting himself upright and looking at his surroundings. His attention turned to his now missing ring finger on his left hand that only provided suffering at the very least. It reminded him of his past life on Onderon and that was dangerous waters for him to trudge in.

One thing that caught his eye was his lack of a communicator and Orex sitting in the chair before the dark lord. He paid no mind to it his mind was already experiencing lapses in his memory of recent events.

There is a huge gap between lying dormant n the snow at Alderaan and waking up here in front of a man he tried to kill earlier. Speaking of why was he still alive? The moment he fell to the ground he accepted the fact there was a high chance he wouldn't wake up but here he is suffering as always. It was a puzzling revelation but then it came to mind. Nyla and his destroyer were gone this was confirmed when he caught the blue streaks of light coming from the cockpit in the corner of his eye.

He continued to attempt to stand only to be met with the searing pain in his back which prevented him from moving any further. His back...It must have broke when he slammed into that tree....His memory triggered itself.

When he a rose from that tree a voice was speaking to him in his head it was like his but warped and fearful at the same time. The more he thought about it the more he began to realize that for the first time in his life he had no anger present in his being. Orex was right there was a crippling weakness inside himself but there was no certainty he began with Nyla. Ravenous turned his attention to Orex and spoke.

"I hope you know what i am capable of. I have made amazing feats in the past but you should be worrying about what i am going to do now. I would have preferred you killed me but that's not my concern. Your playing at something and i'm gonna find out what it is."

I watched as Ravenous slowly rose from his unconscious state. I didn't reach for my sabre, I remained still. As he slept I had been probing his bones, joints, tendons etc. If needed, I could have wrenched everything out of place and leave him a twitching mess. But of course I didn't. What I had noticed however, was his spine. Moving the force through it I could feel that it was shattered in several places. But I knew how to repair that.

"I am well aware of what you're capable of Ravenous. And that's the primary reason I've kept you alive. But don't threaten me, or I will indeed end your perpetual suffering. Your spine, as I'm sure you've noticed, is not only broken, it is Shattered in many places. But do not worry, I will have that repaired. In regards to what I'm playing at, I suppose I can indulge you."

I stood from my seat and clasped my hands behind my back.

"I suppose you've noticed I don't refer to you as Darth. As much as you may deserve that title, you would do good to get rid of it. The Sith are a religion. And like all religions, they are primitive, power hungry and arrogant. They have no future that doesn't concern their own personal benefit. They kill and manipulate eachother, forever delaying their progress in this Galaxy and hindering their ability to ever truly attain dominion. The First Order is the largest and most powerful Empire out there, and they aren't even Sith."

I approached Ravenous and gazed into him

"You have potential. Potential I will help you realise. The primitive religion of the Sith will not. Abandon their way of life, control your suffering and become a channel through which the Dark Side flows through, untainted by pitiful emotions and weakening attachments"

I hinted at his relationship towards Nyla. I knew he would get it, I simply needed to see how he would react.

The Burnt Hand shook with turbulence and noise as it exited Hyperspace and began its final approach for Coruscant.

Intense amounts of rage began to scatter through Ravenous' body as his eyes turned to a pale yellow. Once again like he did on Alderaan he used the force as a substitute for his lack of a functioning spine. In his mind he was aware his back would never be the same way again even when it is fixed but he opted to ignore such a blistering notion as he looked directly into the pupils of Orex. His body was for the most part useless but the force could sustain him for as long as he needed to.

"You know nothing of the dark side or the Sith. While you make some interesting points which have awakened me to your point of view i dismiss them simply because of one thing. I'm not blind or deaf i am completely aware of why the Sith have not ascended to power but this does not concern me in the slightest. I became Sith for one thing and one thing only to survive and it is that sense of self preservation that leads me here. As for Nyla like i said she is not a weakness but that is something you fail to understand. I am going to become something more than a simple tool for the emperor...but ill do it by my own accord."

Ravenous stood up from the bed his feet making a loud clank as he stood. His body was clearly in great pain but this was of no matter to him as he began to walk towards the ramp the burnt hand would soon be opening.

He extended a palm and ripped his saber from Orex's grip and stepped out of the burnt hand and into the busy crowd that was Coruscants population.
