- Dodge Tank: In spite of its mass and robust defenses, the Pink X is extremely agile and is capable of matching and even exceeding the maneuverability of much smaller craft.
- Elite Multirole Starfighter: Versatile, agile, heavily-armored, and well-armed, the Pink X is a versatile fighter, while also possessing a number of significant areas of strength that allow it to go toe-to-toe with virtually any small craft in a dogfight.
- Shield Modules: While the two shielding modules allow the craft to be tailored according to mission parameters, in order to swap out one for another, the craft must be serviced by a technician. In essence, the two shield modules may not be swapped in the field or during flight.
- SLAM Overdrive: While active, the SLAM system prevents usage of weapons and electronic warfare systems due to its strenuous power demands. In addition, SLAM may only be active for ten consecutive seconds at maximum before it must undergo a mandatory cooling phase.
The Phase I “Pink X” Starfighter is an elite multirole starfighter, one of many modern successors to the venerable T-85 and T-70 X-Wing starfighters originally conceived during the time of the ancient Galactic Empire. In examining the pedigree of the design, including its ancient deeds in almost single handedly destroying the first and second Death Stars, the designers fused together a number of modern systems within the craft via technological miniaturization. As a result, the Pink X is far lighter than its ancestor, and therefore more capable of executing dazzling maneuvers in both space and atmosphere. In addition, the usage of multiple Data-Brains in addition to a single astromech droid, eliminates much of the faults once thought inherent to the design. Most significantly, data-brain governing of the positions of the four wing-mounted particle beam acceleration cannons based on constant feedback from pilot input and target data functionally eliminates the drawbacks of wing-mounted weaponry, thereby optimizing concentration of fire and accuracy. In addition, all-aspect missile launchers allow missiles to be launched and locked onto targets in front, behind, below, and above the craft.
The Pink X also allows a small degree of customization based on mission parameters and personal preference, including missile loadout, shield types, and paint color. However, most of the manufactured models are pink or magenta.
