PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Phelixia Skirata is a towering and imposing figure, even by Vratix standards, standing at 2.3 meters (8'5") tall. Their insectoid frame is both sleek and robust, honed from years of battlefield experience and medical expertise. The natural exoskeleton glistens with an iridescent sheen that shifts between deep emerald green and charcoal grays, depending on the lighting.
- Eyes: Phelixia's multifaceted eyes are a deep, liquid amber, capable of reflecting the faintest glimmers of light. The layered lenses provide them with exceptional vision, even in the dimmest conditions, which is vital in both combat and field medicine.
- Mandibles: Their mandibles are sharp but compact and used primarily for communication with others around them.
- Antennae: Phelixia's antennae are longer and more slender than average, curling slightly at the tips. They serve as a subtle but effective tool for sensing environmental changes and communicating nonverbally with allies.
- Torso: Their thorax is heavily reinforced with natural plating, which they've augmented with beskar'gam, blending Mandalorian craftsmanship with their Vratix biology. The plates are engraved with Neo-crusader sigils and Skirata clan markings, representing their allegiance and achievements.
- Arms & Legs: Six limbs sprouting from a cylindrical thorax. The pair closest to their heads, extending from their "shoulders," are triple jointed with tridactyl hands, and served as "arms," but they also sported a hook-claw near the second articulation to assist in climbing. The second, middle pair, sprouting from above the abdomen, were massive, strong "legs," allowing a Vratix to perform impressive leaps. Granting Phelixia agility on the battlefield. The legs are reinforced with additional plating, enabling them to withstand significant physical stress. The last pair, situated at the end of the abdomen, were vestigial, as they served only to prevent the abdomen dragging on the ground. Phelixia's long claws are coated with a bacta-infused resin that allows them to cauterize wounds in emergencies—a reflection of their dual role as a medic and warrior.
