"That's interesting 'Pops'." Ori said, almost feeling the cold again "It reminds be when Apparatus had me trapped on a planet near the bourders of Mandalorian Space, and Moridin joined the fight...granted I had to concede there and tried to deal with them via some Ortillary from a rather handy frigate I had brought in case of emergency...but it still reminds me of that...rather interesting day." Ori shook off the darker memories as they came up, her time as Mandalore was not something she wanted to relive, dealing with the Sith and the idiots among her own people was something the Jedi was glad to have behind her.

 

[Kiyron]

Kiyron chimed in, triple checking his gear before departing the vessel to begin the excavation, "I went camping on my own once." He didn't elaborate. Not yet anyways. This was a bit of a joke. A rather drawn out joke and not very funny, but he wasn't known for his humor. So he left out the part of it being eight months long with no supplies. Leave it at camping, and it's an ironic counterpoint to the other's. One did not expect a commando to imply camping alone to be a challenging portion of his life. Hence the reason it gave a him an ironic sense of joy and silent laughter.

"It's when the Republic- rather mostly the Jedi, went against the Fringe. Lost a lot of Havoc squad there. Nearly decimated the entire unit. Anyways, this big huge dragon, with [member="Kitt Solo"] comes riding up on it. Me and Kitt start shooting at each other, and then the dragon comes up and tries to burn me. I end up swinging around on it's tail, before getting thrown back to the ground. The Dragon flew away after that, and Kitt and I had a little tussle. Tell you more about Kitt later, by the way."He looked sad for a moment.

"We close?"

 

[Commander Sharky]

Sharky would look on the holopad..

"Almost..in the meantime..tell us more please.."

The eager soldier said to the commander..

 

[Miles Varden]

Miles stopped laughing and locked his helmet in place and stowed his gear on his back. He stood up and held on to the handles above him and moved to the door. He opened the hatch and before it was all the way open, with the cold wind nipping at the cracks in his armor, jumped out into the freezing atmosphere.

He landed waist deep in the snow. With a big swing of his ace, he cleared himself out of the snow. He brushed off and moved towards where the ship was going to land, he kept his rifle trained on the horizon.

[Willa Isard]

Will continued to look at them and she wondered what made the kid so curious when they were close by. She secured a helmet on to seal herself in and jumping out into the snow as the force was puched to soften her impact and Willa moved off to secure a small part.

HILLSIDE

"Well did that arrive?" The man standing there in the speeder and looking over the others who were crouched low. Camo netting covered in snow in most area's except a few flaps. Lagoon Squad a former unit now rogue had come to Arkania and as the Major pulled a scope up he spoke looking on. "Observe and prepare, don't engage until they are at the ice and then drown them."

Couldn't help but be amazed at Papa story. It wasn't after all could been one of the stories she had heard growing up. After all she wasn't just this one that been brought up in this kind of military life. "Yes ladies and gentlemen I only have so many gel heat pack. After which she just grabbed her own helmet making sure it was locked tight and that thermal was working. After she had the change as herself jump, this one part she could do with out. Even so as she had to make her way through the snow finding herself going behind one of the others so it would be easier for her to make it after with her shortness of her.

Sharky smirked a little.....


"You guys wanna sing a shanty? besides the fact i am NOT a pirate."

"So the dragon tried to swoop me up, but I ended up clambering onto it's tail. So here I am, getting waved around by this giant frakking dragon, and I start shooting at it. So that thing just pulls it's big tail up and WOOSH-"He makes a splatting sound."Slams me into the ground. And that's why we always wear armor, kids."Kaiden was however, completely unaware of the impending danger from Lagoon squad...

 

[Lok Xiangu]

He jumped off of the shuttle and made a splash when he landed on the snowy ground. He could feel the cold on his armor and was somewhat getting cold from the weather. "Well that does sound interesting and cool, commander," he said as he continued to hear the rest of the story. His shoulders carried a backpack full of explosives and his other hand held onto his pickaxe. "So, where is a good place to mine, lads?" He asked to the whole group.

[Commander Sharky]

Sharky puts on his Aratech r82 jump boots and Mitrinomon Z-6 jetpack he gets ready to take off in the snow land..

"Probably in the most places where Snow creatures dig for artifacts...and that i mean hunting regions..do you have any equipment to mine though?"

 

[Kiyron]

Kiyron landed lightly in the snow, adjusting his stance to spread his weight more evenly and stepped away from the group to be out of potential grenade range. He dropped to a crouch and scanned the landscape ahead for potential hostiles. Or prey. There wasn't much of a difference while in Havoc Squad.

 

[Miles Varden]

Miles' black armor was now covered in snow as it continued to fall around the squad. He looked like a Dalmatian trooper. He began to scan the area beyond for signs of life or movement.

"Clear on my end sir."

Looking at all around the white of it all but those of them that had different color of armor that seem to stick out the most couldn't help under her own helmet. "I guess this isn't your normal walk in the park, ladies and Gentlemen. Making it through as it would seem she was way over her head in this stuff. Couldn't there be a little less of this white stuff after all it wasn't more then anything to get out of this white stuff. Strangeness was that she wanted to be anywhere but here. Heck she even pull duty in the mess hall. It had to be better. Sharky used his jetpack to fly arround and look for any precious artifacts but couldnt find at least ONE! or a dint of metal, so he gave up and retreated back to the squad but his jetpack instead dies out due to the snow and makes him fall to a comfy snow but hard demise..

"Ah damn it, why die now? ERRG!"

He would say with his helmet broken and ruined up covered with snow..

"UUUGHhhh...."

 

[Willa Isard]

Willa looked at the group and was moving, she looked at the kid in the air with his jetpack and then at the others while she crouched down low. There were always dangerous things on Arkania, things most didn't want to deal with and they were in the mountains. She really didn't want to have a gust of wind hit the kid and knock him over the edge... The paper work would not be able to look favorable for him. She could see it now while her senses tingled, she felt familiar things but it was right there on the edge with the others. She spoke into the comlink. "Kid if a gust hits you I am not climbing down the mountain to get your body to give back to your mother."

 

[Commander Sharky]

Sharky got up puts his helmet back on and leaves his jetpack off, he then saw a small shard of metal deep in one of the corners of the snow lands 1000 miles from here glowing, but it was only just one metal, after taking a good look at it he finds out this metal was used for lightsaber construction, because of it's green and blueish hidden power signiture, he slowly picked up the shard and took a good look at it:

Sharky turned off his comm and looked at the metal, he has to bring it to the Good commander to take a look at it, to see if it was real..

Ori followed the other members of Havoc Squad to the mines, trudging through the snow as if the cold didn't bother her, partially due to her Cold Weather gear and partially due to her Force Enhanced Endurance. Ori put out all the other voices, trying to keep a good awareness of the tundra around the tundra, hoping to be able to react to a dangerous situation that could pop up. After a while Ori found a cave with a variety of Phrik Viens. "I've found some Phrik, I'm going to start trying to extract it." Ori said, over a comm line with the rest of Havoc Squad "I can direct anyone here if they need some."

 

[Commander Sharky]

Sharky commed back..

"::I found four but thats all i can see and have, good to know, wow, this could be used to build extremely durable and light armor as well as a regular lightsaber, what do you think what else we should do with this metalic structure?, we could find some more maybe back in Blood Moon the mines are looking lovely today but since its here i guess its a waste of time besides red is not my favourite colour.::"

He turns off his comm and looks around more for phrik shards..

 

[Willa Isard]

Willa moved seeing Sharky and the others as he had found some fo the phrik. Her eyes scanning the ground while she looked over towards Rohn and Fade. "Come on, whatever we're here for is still around and we need some more phrik ore maybe." She shrugged and brought some fire to her hand and lit the wat going towards a ridge. "We'll see what we can find."
