First Reply Pilgrimage

He'd talked to his master, Nyla, telling her that he wanted to return to Ambria on his own, this time. Her lessons, her wisdom, both were wonderful and appreciated, though he'd simply explained that he simply wanted to do a bit of meditation on the planet. The last time he'd done so he had been a bit off balance. He needed to return and to meditate when he was now fully balanced. No. He wanted to do so. It wasn't a need, but something told him to go back. He'd return. He'd make a small pilgrimage to the meditation site...

The Force had whispered the history of the place, once upon a time, a sith with lofty ambitions. Spirits and tormented creatures, and of a mighty jedi master who'd set the planet free, trapping the darkness. His thoughts, however, could do it little justice; the whisperings of the Force had bled and blended together s uch that it had felt more like poetry, than prose.

The ship shuddered a bit, as it catapulted through hyperspace and Raphael took a breath. There was so much that had gone wrong ad was still going on; the talk of moving the Temple, or the capital... What had transpired on Myrkr... Raphael sighed, as he pulled the lever dropping out of hyperspace. He could hear the Force fro the planet... calling to him. He knenw exactly what he was going to be doing. He'd thought about this, for a while. His kyber crystal was back where it had come from, and the planet was free froom its torment... This did leave him without a lightsaber, however... He'd need to rectify that...eventually.

Slowly, Raphael set his ship down, farther away from the valley than the last time. He planned on making something of a pilgrimage. It would be a few days, so he pulled out his blaster rifle, and pack and smiled, before tapping into vambrace on his wrist. The ship gave a beep, as did his gauntlet, and it lifted off, flying away, until he called for it again. He'd bypass places that were dangerous. He'd survive on the planet as best he could. And he would meditate in the same valley.

Ambria was on the edge of Alliance space, which suited the Mandalorian just fine. What didn't suit her fine was that, although the Hssiss native to this world, so too was the Dark Side. Of course, the Vanquo's Dragon had indulged the Lasat's harebrained quests across the galaxy, so she begrudgingly accepted a desire to "see the dragons". As she lingered in orbit, the Lasat exhaled and let the Force guide her to a landing spot, one that wasn't too tainted by the Darkness, she sensed a canyon that stuck out oddly. It was peaceful, serene even, and as the ship descended through the stratosphere, she found another returning to orbit. Someone was also arriving here, though the ship departed too quickly for her to notice - all she could hope was that it wasn't a Dar'Jetti, and that this little meandering would be relatively incident-free.

Relatively.

Raphael had walked perhaps a mile from his landing zone. It was a barren land, little, to nothing, seeemed to grow on its surface... He looked around watching as large lizards raced past him, heading towards something that seemed to glimmer in the distance. Immediately he knew that something was wrong with that place. Some darkness, a great disruption in the Force. Whispers of evil, carried by the wind. He blinked and stared off into the distance.

But they weren't the whispers that he feared, nor were they whispers to be heeded.

As the wind blew again, the whispers seemed to vanish, slowly, the light flooding back into the world. Raphael smiled, turning his head in the direction of the canyon. There was much that he'd begun to learn t accept. There was much that he'd needed to do. The Force shifted, changed, warped and moved. He looked up and tapped onto his vambrace a bit, boosting comms range.

"Hello there, and welcome to Ambria! Would you like to come down and walk the wastes with me? A hike is always better with a companion, wouldn't you think?"
