Player Navy Ranks

At the One Sith, both Force-users and Non-Force users hold military power according to rank. At its core, this is a 3-tier rank system in which the power of a player in regards to the military is capped at the highest rank they have.

The core ranks are as follows, from lowest to highest:
Enlisted/Non-Commissioned Officer | Acolyte
Officer | Knight
Commander | Lord

Every new Non-Force using characters starts off as Enlisted/NCO. Those that want to begin at the One Sith as an Officer or Commander must post a request in this thread with the following template:
Character Name: [Display Name]
Requested Rank: [Officer or Commander]
Justification: [State the reasons for this request as well as any in-character evidence for this]

The following are the promotion rules for Non-Force Users:

• Promotion to Officer: A Knight/Officer or Lord/Commander must vouch for the character's promotion to Officer in this thread.
• Promotion to Commander: The candidate must win a majority vote of all active Commanders in favor of his/her promotion. The Faction Admins may overturn a vote in favor of the candidate's promotion if they believe that it's necessary.

There are no demotions involving the core ranks for Non-Force Users, just as there are no demotions for Force Users. However, a character that causes issues for the One Sith might be kicked out of the faction.

Sera's ships are heavy frigate sized, so whatever best fits the structure.

Requested Rank : Any (I do much better with small fleet engagements or posts, and we can put her under an NPC commander if you like.)
Justification: Having a seer who can predict possible futures, could make for a very useful naval commander!

This looks cool, and ill happily add Commodore Lanooin to the npc roster list. Only question i have is for Sera. Her profile doesnt read like she has Naval experience, so i figure maybe she was granted rank to act as a specialist or warrant officer.

I was thinking something like Lieutenant Commander. Then as things develop she can easily move into more traditional command roles, or whatever you prefer.

Sera saw action in one or two AoL naval engagements a long time ago, apart from that she would be NPCing the command, so I think that fits her well thank you and is generous.

Lieutenant Commander it is, and if you participate in a battle or something and see fit to have your NPC Commodore promote her that is perfectly fine as well, just make sure to post in here so the thread can be updated.
