Intent: To develop for the New Order Confederacy of Independent Systems a new assault battleship, one deviating almost completely from the typical Star Destroyer doctrine.
Development Thread: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/32013-morellian-shipsearching-new-order-only/ (Complete, since the New Order folded and my partner, after prodding, has decided to not continue the thread)
Manufacturer: Subach-Innes
Model: Pluton-class Battleship
Affiliation: Confederacy of Independent Systems
Modularity: Minor
Production: Minor
Material: Turadium(bridge and main gun turret reinforcement), Duranium(frame), Adamithium-Durasteel Composite(hull)
Description: The Pluton-class Battleship was originally a design intended to be manufactured for the New Order in the waning days of the Sith-Mandalorian War. While the prototype was ready by war's end, proving itself by devastating an Invictus hulk, the splitting of the Sith faction meant that no production Plutons were produced. When Circe Savan's company was reaccepted back into the fold of the CIS post-Horde, the designs came with her, and the ship was put into production.

Pluton-class ships are very special due to their primary armament - five long-range heavy hypervelocity gun turrets. These tapered-bore weapons allow for the best velocity and penetration power compared to earlier models found on the Yorika, Adamith, and Adamantine-class warships. Their enhanced range and heavier projectile allow for damage so potent that, as the prototype's main gun demonstrated, an Invictus-class Star Destroyer was easily no match for the Pluton's main guns. The layout of these weapons in heavily-armored turrets allow for always three, typically four, and sometimes all five of the weapons to be aimed at a target, dealing tremendous damage with each shot.

Not a Star Destroyer, the Pluton's secondary armament comprises long-range turbolaser batteries, allowing for even the secondary guns to hit targets from far away, and heavy energy torpedo launchers capable of pounding hostiles from long range as well. Tertiary anti-fighter armament comprises flak guns and antimissile octets provides defense against bombers and the like.

For its type, the Pluton carries a good amount of fighters and bombers. However, its space-to-ground capabilities are lacking, though it does carry a single prefabricated garrison base. Its cargo capacity is also lower, multiple antimatter reactors required to power the main guns of the ship.

Why do you think the Pluton is getting made for you guys?

And yes, guns. Because fewer bigger guns > lots of smaller, weaker guns. Not to mention the Pluton is guaranteed to always have the first shot.

5*2*5*10 = 500

That's 125 Batteries, not 100

The HVG error's fixed. As well, I'm allotted 80 defense guns, which is where I got the defensive emplacements from. Also fixed that spelling error.
