So it looks like this might be a small scale tournament, since there are only four(ish?) participants, which is totally fine by me Just to have it extended a little longer, maybe we can have it be double elimination, or if that's not in our best interests we can just stick with single elimination.

However, where my micro team of brainstormers (forgot to add you Setzi!) is currently thinking about, is the setting these duels will take place.

The first suggested opinion was to rotate to other worlds for each duel, but of course I would need some suggestions!

What are some worlds we would like to see our contestants fight on? Preferably in or close to Primeval Space?

I don't want to sound like an opportunist, but, if we do have it on a world that's close to Primeval space (and in a single thread) we could make it a dominion, too. Otherwise I'd go with Korriban or Dantooine.

It may very well work out for this but at the same time it honestly depends. I wouldn't think many--if any--would be bothered by sharing the same thread for their duels but at the same time, it might work best in 1-on-1 situations depending on what level of involvement is needed by moderators for the duels; if their are any.

If it's going to be a very free-form duel, with lots of terrain and stuff to choose from, or maybe just a giant FFA where we all have the same weapons or start out with nothing then it'd work out very well.

Unless Eclipstica is already in our control for some reason, I'm thinking about hosting the ENTIRE tournament in a Dominion format and doing it there if this is okay with the contestants.

I think the bracket will go like this, and it'll be done back to back in the dominion. We could offer time skips if there are significant injuries:
