Panacea was rapidly expanding under the tenure of Ciana as CEO, and now she looked to move into Silver space to begin work with the conglomerate Sasori. The companies and its hosts of subsidiaries worked on technologies that involved methods of the occult, which was right up the alley of the Kiribian biotech firm. With Panacea's experience with alchemy, it would be advantageous for the two companies to begin collaboration.
The first of such collaborations was to be on the Oculus Project, creating a new scanner for more effective detection of Force Sensitives. In her initial review of some of the schematics provided by Sasori, she found the device incapable detecting them while masking their presence in the Force. She had some solutions to overcome that, boosting the detection range and sensitivity of the device to overcome these stealth techniques.
The headquarters of Sasori was supposed to be mobile, but she felt more comfortable meeting with Sasori representatives at one of their planetary fronts. She chose to meet on Shri-Tal, right in the core of Silver space. It was secure, and she had some interest in setting up facilities there. The whole system was rich in resources and biomass that Panacea could use to advance its own developments.
After taking a few days to establish arrangements for the meeting, she traveled to the system by sleek a Nubian yacht under a light guard of her own security detail from Panacea. They were the cream of the crop, recruited directly from OSI (Office of Strategic Intelligence) and the presidential guard. They accompanied her in plainclothes, but they bristled with advanced armor and high-tech weaponry underneath their well-tailored suits and dresses.
Planetside, she felt a bit of a strain on her body, with the gravity being higher than it was on Kiribi. At over 1.85 meters, the Atrisian-Echani hybrid towered over many of the locals she came across, height partially stunted by their environment. Moving through the streets outside of her convoy, she could hear Atrisian as the dominant language of the crowds. She could pick up some words and phrases here and there, but the dialect was very different from what she was used to on Kiribi, so she had some difficulty taking in everything.
