Not much sign of piloting in the ACA. If you want to come up with a mission idea, crack on and send it over. Otherwise I wrote up a quick idea:
Omega Intelligence had received reports of several tankers of a certain fuel compound (unknown – potentially TibannaX) being transported across ACA space. Currently FLEETCOM does not have the resources to mount a significant incursion into enemy territory to conduct this operation, but the benefits of intercepting the transports is significant.
Each convoy consists of four Subach Innes Tyzzeph-class gas miners, a Gunray Star Destroyer and two Sickle-class frigates. There are four conveys following different routes and Omega forces are going to attempt to intercept each.
Each strike force (ask Ayden for nomenclature) consists of an interdictor, two escorts and numerous fighter wings.
The mission plan is as follows:
- The interdictor and escorts will wait along the hyperspace paths gathered by intelligence
- Some of our best pilots will sit a small hyperspace hop away
- The ACA convoy will be dragged out of hyperspace
- The interdictor and escorts will hold position and attempt to draw away the main ACA warships
- The fighters will then be signalled to conduct a blind jump into the area
- The fighters should also be dropped into realspace by the interdiction field, directly behind the lightly guarded convoy
- You must draw off any remaining escorts and destroy the transports
There are four convoys, PCs will be attacking one convoy. If the mission is particularly successful (well-written, lots of effort) the ACA stealth capability will be reduced for the next significant naval engagement.
