Tap.
Tap tap.
Tap tap tap.
An overwhelmingly large shadow grew from one of the alleyways nearest Artemis, with several bone-crunchingly loud "taps" following in it's wake. This would be visible to the girl Artemis, the one who had stolen the fruit and eventually a yellow crystal as well. The shadow spilled out into the streets of Alderaan, echoing a darkness from the alleyway that would send shivers up the spine of any passerby. A cold, freezing wind seemed to sweep in the from the north, one environmentally unsound for this particular area - it was usually quite warm - and continued to send a dread in any citizens who happen to be on that particular street this sunny day. The shadow grew, darkening the opening of the alleyway and eventually the sidewalk nearest to it. Tap tap.
And out of this particular alleyway, accompanied by the supernatural fear of everything that is dark and cold, was but the smallest of hermits carrying his grocery bag in one hand, his walking stick in the other. Tap, tap went the walking stick against the duracrete as the sun emblazoned the shadow and rid the street of the unusual cold breeze. The small, green monk seemed quite old, quite frail... an easy target for anyone wishing to steal or murder, but Alderaan was a peaceful planet. The crime rate in this particular neighborhood was next to nil, and the hermit seemed quite content with walking alone down the streets in broad daylight, as were most who hadn't witnessed the dark chill.
A yellow glint caught the Jedi's eye in the distance, but all he saw was a cart, and...an equally small figure scrambling out from under the cart. His eyebrows quirked and he began to head in the direction of the girl, his walking stick tapping against the ground much faster.
"Separated from your parents, are we?" Teferi called out, trying to sound friendly.
