Description: This weapon design appears to be that of an experimental turbolaser of the pulse-wave type. Like the blaster weapons it appears to be based off of, the pulse-wave turbolaser's shot creates an atomic makeup-altering spatial distortion within the laser bolt itself, causing almost twice the damage of a standard turbolaser when coupled to a modern reactor. However, the distortion makes the shot exceptionally unstable, cutting the usable range of the weapon in half.
From the data received along with these schematics, it would appear that this weapon was being designed and tested for a new generation of Revanite Sith battleship, one that was apparently never constructed. With Revan's defeat of Malak and the scattering of that Sith Empire, the design was evidently lost on Rakata Prime until being rediscovered.
