Intent: To expand our menu at the meadery, and Mock [member="Ra Vizsla"] for chasing a damn sandwich
Development Thread: Inspired by the thread Blood, Iron, and Turkey Sandwiches
Manufacturer: Null Ironworks and Meadery
Model: Viszla memorial
Affiliation: Null Meadery Menu
Modularity: All condiments optional, with a choice of Aderaanian cheddar, Echoy'lan Mozzarella, or Null blue cheese. Only one kind of bread though.
Production: Mass-Produced, it's a popular menu item.
Material: Shredded Dantooinian plains turkey, Spicy mustard Aoli, dice red onions and pickle relish, sliced tomatoes, locally baked Null bread, and shredded lettuce, and choice of cheese.
Strengths:
- Filling.
- The spicy mustard aoili produces a horseradishy nose-burn ("Hetikles" in Mando'a) that most mandos love.
- What's not to like about a press-grilled sandwich?
Weaknesses:
- It is not particularly resistant to lightsabers or small arms fire.
- Not everybody digs spicy mustard with a horseradish base.
- Some species are allergic to tomatoes, and must request them removed.
- It goes straight to your thighs.
Description:
After rumors came of Mandalor running a conveyor belt full of smelting hammers to avenge a smashed sandwich (not what actually happened, but ya gotta love gossip), Funky wondered out loud if you coudl heat an ahmmer and cook a sandwich with it. After all, griddles were metal plates, hammers were hunks of metal, why the hell not? After a week or so of playing with heating elements made from scrap metal, Funky invented and master the art of the press-grill, developing a sandwich hammered and forge over an oven of spicy mustard.
In his drunken muse (the one he has most often when cooking), he declared the press "a memorial to the meals we have lost and fought for, including those Ra Viszla has loved and lost."
