[SIZE=9pt]Role:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] The ‘Raiders’ are a specialized unit of combatants within the Antarian Rangers. Usually operating in sizes from four man squads, all the way to platoon-sized strengths. The unit is deployed for search and rescue missions, raids, to act as a quick-reaction-force, and many other specialized missions.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Strengths & Weaknesses: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Intense Training:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] To be selected as a member of the Raiders, an extensive combat career in the rangers or other armed forces of a faction must be applicable and reviewed over by brass, then lead members of the special tactics team.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Brothers and sister til’ the end:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] The bond that these rangers have formed with one another has grown and will continue to grow as long as they stand by each other in battle. The group had formed their unit through the heat of battle, and their constant deployments together keep them acting, working, fighting, and training as a family.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Light Infantry, fast on their feet:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] With smaller numbers and no vehicle trails, the raiders are proficient in their mobilization to new areas and around enemy troop positions. This makes them a lethal presence on the battlefield.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Light Infantry, unprotected:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] Being a ground unit means they’re usually outmatched when it comes to much larger units or armored units in combat. Unless attached to another friendly armored unit, they would extremely vulnerable to vehicles and units of soldiers of much larger numbers[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Grunts:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] As most of them have spent their entire lives fighting in all sorts of wars and combat theatres, most don’t know how to act in social situations correctly, or even while on duty. The cockiness and arrogance of several members of the team is a fatal flaw that should be kept in check.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]High-Value-Targets: [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Most of the soldiers on the team have lost count of the enemies they have taken down, but the opposition has not. Several of the ‘heavy-hitters’ on the team even have constant bounties on their heads, making them a risk to their allies and families around them. For this reason, many of the raiders choose to conceal their identity whilst off-base, or even on-duty.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]By any means necessary:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] The rangers of the First special tactics unit don’t like losing, and they’ll do everything in their power to make sure they bring home a victory to their families. Even if that means breaking a few rules in the process. The risk of them taking too many laws and rules into their own hands makes this quite the flaw, but their determination to get the job down and take down their mark makes them some of the most reliable ‘pipe-hitters’ in the galaxy.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Description:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] The First Ranger Special Tactics Unit, or ‘Radama Raiders,’ first sprouted from a ranger infantry division that performed their first operation in the Ord Radama theatre. Being led by Valkren Calderon, now-grandmaster Valae Kitra, Jerit Kolomor and Darren Torren, the unit performed to the Silver Jedi’s highest expectation. After a strict trial run in a different mission scenario post-Ord Radama, it was decided to move select members of the Infantry unit to a new special forces division. Since then, the Radama Raiders have proven a viable asset on the battlefield. Both in direct combat operations and,tactical operations behind enemy lines, the rangers of the First Ranger Special Tactics Unit have proved time and time again that they want to be the first in, and the last out.[/SIZE]
