The Mandalorians vs The Galactic Republic
Ruusan
Background
A private mining company on Ruusan has made the discovery of a lifetime. The largest Ruusan Crystal ever discovered has been unearthed on the planet. Per protocol, the company has contacted the Republic and the Jedi Order about their discovery. In response, the Galactic Republic has sent a group of individuals of varying specialties to investigate the miners' find and possibly bring it back to be studied.
Meanwhile, the Mandalorians approach. Witch seers spoke of a great power brought to light on the planet Ruusan, a lost treasure seen in visions and foretold by the bones and stones of their prophecies. With the planet known and the rough location identified, a Mandalorian raiding party descends upon the planet seeking the same crystal the Republic seeks to study.
Two groups after the same treasure meet at the dig sight and blades are quickly drawn.
The last side standing wins the greatest find Ruusan has seen in lifetimes.
Rules
This skirmish will be straight PvP only with the winning side determined by the number of personal victories.
Each writer will be limited to two characters each should they desire, but no more than two.
3v1, 5v2, and other overwhelming odds are strongly discouraged. 1v1, 2v2, etc. is highly encouraged in this thread. When in doubt, shoot the other writers a PM to see if they're okay with you diving in.
If you have any issues that arise during roleplay, politely speak to the other writer or writers first to work out a resolution. If a resolution cannot be found, please contact myself or [member="Taeli Raaf"] for help.
Allies are not allowed in this skirmish. This is because IC'ly both sides do not expect the other, meaning no one had prior need to bring in outside help and friends. Only Galactic Republic and Mandalorian writers will be fighting.
Outside of this, all SWRP: Chaos rules are in effect, as always.
Last rule, and this is absolutely mandatory or else you will be ejected post haste from the thread by any means necessary:
Have fun, guys, and let's get some great stories going.
