Thanks for the tag. When we were approached about this Skirmish, both the GR IC and OOC leadership teams declined participating, given the Mandos are our allies.

It was pointed out that, under board rules (or rather lack of them), the attack would happen if we wanted to Skirmish or not. So it happened. We have informed GR members it is taking place on more than one occasion, but I for one won't be participating, sorry.

How funny, I read the discussion PM thread preceding this and while folks chose to sit out, totally fine and understandable, I didn't actually see anyone saying they didn't want it to happen or were opposed to it as a fun activity between two factions that ought to have a good enough rapport that they can do this sort of thing without it turning into a dramafest.

Weird to see it presented that way now that it's public...

Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Work has been rough the past few days and my days off have been spent helping out around the house (we've had to have the foundation, roof, and one ceiling repaired lately) so my posting has been sporadic at best. I'll try and get a post up today to get this thread rolling.

[member="Muad Dib"], thanks for taking a hit. Not sure if you saw the sub I linked in my initial post, but the long-handled lightsaber Korr uses is capable of cutting through beskar. You can check out the sub to get a good idea of what it does.

Lol I hadn't read that yet but I will now. Hits happen , wounds are mandatory for realism. Plus it's not like people can't heal later on.

And I like wounds cause it makes combat realistic, gives a better fight, and scars give back story for character.

Plus it adds to a story you know lol.
