Rakata Tech Banned Reasons

To elaborate what I meant when I said technology that is based on something would be fine:

Starmap: Map which creates a four-dimensional, interactive, map similar to holographic technology that is mapped by the force (at least that's how I understand it was explained as working)

to

Set up satellites/probes which triangulate signals to each other and when connected to a three-dimensional pattern (like a sphere or a cube or pentagonal cube-thing) it creates a four-dimensional map and projects it through a holographic display (displays outwards rather than inwards to map open/out rather than closed/in). A good example would be looking at how the map on Prometheus functioned. I think there exist a few submissions that already have the potential to do this and just aren't being utilized as such, but this is an excellent example on how you would base something on the original piece rather than making a carboncopy of it.

^ Firstly, I duly noted the Star Forge being a superweapon and the prime reason for this tech being banned. Though it was like it was ignored, and I ignorant of this reason. I dont appreciate it, but I shrugged it off, and went with it. Its not plagiarism if I did a dev thread to gain the schematics for the thing, and used it for cosmetic design. You quoted ALL of my post when really, the only plagiarism the look. The Star Forge isnt told how big it is, or how much it can make, there is no listed limits on it.
I guess this is for the snarky comment.

Im done for the night. Ill come back with a new idea. Other wise, the Infinite Empire really is a banned faction on here, unless someone pretty much feels like rewriting all of that organization to pretty much the Not Infinite Empire But Something Completely Different.

This emphasis on self-aware droids you keep making is silly. I highly doubt that it's any of the reasons Rakata are banned, considering self-aware droids are pretty commonplace in the rest of the galaxy. What would self-aware droids have to do with anything the Rakata did?

I have a theory about the Need for Shiny Things.

It always comes down to some combination of two factors: wanting better stuff than the other guy for competitive purposes, and loving the aesthetics of the Shiny Thing.

For the first part, just remember that the people who kick the most aggregate posterior generally don't need shinies to do it.

For the second part, go fall in love with another aesthetic that doesn't lead to superweapon.

Be wiser than I was. Go write stuff.

Why do you want a 32,000 year old hand weapon?

The only reason you would want it is because it's super in some way all these millennia later. If that is the case it's the reason why they are banned.
It isn't... It's just a pretty standard stun baton that was made by the Rakata. Only reason I want a functional one is because it's cool and historical, not because of some sort of perceived advantage it gives.
