The Stim drink is definitely something one might find in a midnight convenience store. It's priced on the cheap for anyone that needs a bit of help making it through their day (or night). The Rancor brand name was made up by Shaye Ares, and is not an actual brand. She happened to score a whole container of a generic stim drink, but she decided to dress the cans up a bit in order to charge a slightly higher price. She designed the logo herself and prints it on an adhesive can-wrap that covers everything but the labeled ingredients and nutritional information. Enhanced with vitamins and concentrated powdered Stim Tea, it has a distinctly 'vitaminy' taste which is masked slightly by citrus flavoring. It is available by the can, but is generally sold in a six-pack.
Shaye drinks this regularly, and she's proof that it actually does what it says. And that the side-effects are definitely real.
