Bombs Away: Equipped with four bomblet generators the Rangi is capable of outputting a lot of damage in a relatively short span of time.
Range: Built for standard/close-range combat the Rangi, and lacks the ability to effectively fight at long range.
Power Conversion: Maneuverability is reduced in favor of higher speed, making turns in high stake situations difficult.
Another addition to the Sith-Mandalorian line the Rangi was meant as a hit and run vessel, it’s strength lies within the four bomblet generators. These generators lend themselves to both the Sith-aligned Mandalorians and the Sith Empire overall. Bunker busters, the Rangi is able to unleash a devastating amount of firepower as part of the Sith-Imperial War Machine.
Drawbacks to the vessel include its inability to fight effectively at long range, and in part with its power conversions. The decrease in maneuverability can be a determinant when attempting to outrun opponents. An average defense rating while not necessarily a weakness can lead to the Rangi experiencing failures with its defense systems against vessels of superior armament rating.
When not in combat the Rangi-class, Cruiser operates as a crystal extractor or artificer vessel working to aid in the analysis and develop of various crystals within the Empire. This includes but is not limited to lightsaber crystals, power crystals and/or energy crystals. Crystals are split between the clans and the Empire, with the Empire of course, receiving a larger portion of the crystals. There are, however, some cases where some members of the Empire have turned a blind eye to the Clans taking more than their contracted share or others being 'generous'. At any rate, the amount of crystals the Clans receive depends on the type of crystal they are.
