I did not splice them. It was a pretty simple request and didn't feel it needed more flair than was already present. Will keep in mind the distance with that font for future reference. But that is a very detailed judgement lol.

4/5 I like everything except the really prominent star in the top left corner. I feel it's a little distracting.

Points for simplicity. It's nice and clean and not so busy that it distracts. If I have a complaint, it's that it's too tall. For shorter posts like this, the text gets lost against the signature. You could probably crop out the bottom quarter of the picture and still get the same impact, but without sucking up so much space. Other than that, it's well done.
