Alright because last time we had no plan, no organization except on the fly. Yeah we didn't know the planet but neither did the sith they just knew it was happening and to be ready. They had teams and they had ideas on how to pick targets. So we're going to get organized now the invasion is going to be different and this cold be an interesting way to do it we shall see. Master in their own threads fighting and padawans/knights in their own.

This is looking to be strictly pvp so get ready, play the numbers game cause they are going to do the same to us. If you want training to beef yourself up to maybe last that much more against a sith feel free to contact me I might make another class to teach dodging and how to dogpile an single enemy with padawans and knights. Thanks to the lovely Maria there is even a special tag you get for being in the class.

Make sure you are familiar with the current gear in the armory if you need or want it to use and coordinate with your fellows, the divide between masters and knights/padawans means more then likely the jedi masters will be outnumbered while the jedi knights and padawans have an advantage of even or greater numbers. This also means that if Glitter and Sparkle appear the masters have to face the two sithspawn of destruction and their masters. Having fought Sparkle.... I can say fun times.

And one last thing, yes we are and need to plan this to work together. Having it dropped on us the day before or the day of the invasion is terrible and shouldn't have happened. The sith had a week to prepare and plot, we had a few hours to try and rally a defense team and were getting overwhelmed in nearly every area. I was happy to see Veino and Niamh appear to back me up at the library only after we had to point out there was a single person defending the objective.

Anyone care to lash motivate me to finish my several thousand word long dev thread for my Jensaarai armor? I'm guessing I just have around another 2000 words to go to complete the story. The submission is mostly already complete and just waiting for the dev threads to finish. And I have a hunch Veino could use some more training. It's been a while since he trained with the Fel Imperium for real warfare.

Also, what's the time-frame between the two invasions? I need to know if Kiyron will be combat ready again after the last time.

I'll try and enter this time but I'll mostly be running around with NPC soldiers trying to act as diversion/support and evacuation aid for our wounded or pinned down fighters.

Will probably act as if we have a Medical Frigate hanging in atmo off in the distance and have an LZ setup with defenses where my character and NPC RHDF members (20 NFU standard soldiers Roaming at most) will be bringing our wounded to if needed. That and hopefully sacrificing a few NPCs to buy time for retreats or re-positioning to give our real PvPers some minor aid.

If such is allowed.

the time frame I do not know, this is pure and simple to try and get us ready instead of saying it the day before or the day of. The effort you guys put in to support will prove invaluable and helpful in the long run though [member="Camellia Swift"] factor in anything you have set up will be facing Glitter and Sparkle the leviathan kaiju and 2km worm that destroyed everything.

If put in touch I can get the new fleet group involved with whomever is the main fleeter for our side during the attack, and if needed maybe Wraith Squadron can do some spec ops work ahead of the invasion or during it behind enemy lines. Sabotage, Flanking, etc.

Let's see how a giant worm handles starfighters and bombings from orbit! >:]

[member="Gar'Hal Velasura"] I doubt they are going to care about fleeting. The sounds of it is two threads instead of one to cut down on confusion so if there is fleeting it would either be in one or the other or both and fleeting was never mentioned

They'd probably shrug them off. We recreated the Godzilla vs. tank scene, to no effect on the kaiju.

Plus the PvP focus means fleeting won't have much of an impact at all. Or it's what it usually means.

Well if fleeting isn't going to be involved for whatever reason then at the very least just the squadron can help since they're trained to work on the ground as well in raiding and behind enemy line operations. :)

Well have we come up with anything to beat that thing? Not trying to sound like a whiner, but in reading the invasion threads it seemed a bit overpowered. I'm no expert on it though.

I was on the One Sith's side in that RP and I felt guilty for aiding them when they were using... things like that.

[member="Gar'Hal Velasura"] The team can fly around and help I see nothing wrong wih that but I am not the sith so how much of that they acknowledge, whatever defenses they have set up or just who they bring.

As for the leviathan well a standard one was several meters tall and considered a biological superweapon because it was hard as hell to kill and took several jedi. Usually within ten meters for their size.... The Akure is 50 meters tall and its tail is the size of its body nearly around 35m. So it can strike so many things. Best idea I have to fighting it is punch it really hard. I might try and get Fabula to come and help me.

The worm is 2km's long and over 100m's in size so since I did fight that thing. Hauntruss inclused a top it , in the mouth and through the thing to escape. I can say we are going to need big big things. The best chance it to take out hauntruss and the Akure's controllers so the creatures aren't being directed at one side of the battle but both sides. At least until someone reinforces their will.

So. . .. bring in 3-5 Light Tanks? Probably some of the new Oversight Recon Droids, and around 50-100 personnel in 5 groups of 20?

._.

Or is that still a tad dinky?

Fight biological terrors with biological weapons. Do we have any monster-sized poisons or contaminants?
A standard one is supposed to be vulnerable to heavily concentrated canon-fire, as well as lightning/electrocution and lightsaber strikes. I would recommend we either bring a force of very heavy tanks/artillery to bombard them to death as was said, or have a strike team of combat-oriented Jedi masters land on it from a dropship to engage the master while the rest take it down.

If we want to win, they gotta die. :p

Landing more things won't make it better, in the end pvp is what matters. the leviathan will be background noise same as the tanks and fleet battles. Focus on the combat, if there are objectives for defending an area then worry more about the giant weapons they got. We're going to be outnumbered so gear up and Veino I have no idea this is why I built my own gear for invasions cause the best armor we had for force users got tossed aside.

Sadly that is where I'll be useless, but good luck to you all! :p

And it sounds like a lot of stuff for the Republic got 'tossed aside' without being replaced first. Was there a reason?

[member="Gar'Hal Velasura"] is doesn't sound like it did, we had several command ships with the most guns on the board and a mass produced event ship. We got rid of our entire manifest and have been replacing it slowly instead of having replacements ready like we should have so we aren't caught with our pants down. The reason I give is stupidity, Popo's reason was out with the old in with the new when he is able to get around to it with his job and other things happening.

[member="Camellia Swift"] That could help but Hion can destroy and overturn a great deal of those with one bellow. See where in the Alderaan invasion how he destroyed a section of the university with one attack. There are the heavy hitters and the vongformed tech they now have.

We need a mass Bofurr pollen dispenser. Just send that stuff all over battlefields.

I don't think we even have Force User armor anymore. Maybe pull it from the decommissioned manifest? Or pull a team together to make new ones?
