Nothing with the invasion is set in stone right now and is only being discussed. Things will finalize some time Friday. Until then, cut back on the OOC meta, please, because outside of a single post on my part stating the target planet, nothing discussed between OS Staff and Pub Staff has been revealed on the Pub side as of yet, as far as I know.

Seeing how some of us have gotten challenged using the details of the information. I don't see them as "not set in stone" as it looks like others do. Unless things are changing a great deal then cool but seeing we got decimated at Alderaan because we weren't even talking defense of a nameless planet and prep time for invasions has been shown to actually work organizing the people, geting them ready. Hell even the three hours of prep Tef gave the Republic for Korriban had us able to fight and go in ready.

We need something, from information the invasion should be starting within a week. Less then that even and we have only one post saying we're going back. We should have something to try and counter the inevitable dogpile, something of a plan to counter giant sithspawn worms, something that will work to get the members excited about joining in. We get crickets, sith give advice on how to have apprentices face down knights and masters in organized packs.

We need to actually get our heads out of our asses and try something because the only invasion we were successful in was Carida and that was more a stalemate, sith have shown they can win in PVP and in Objective based invasion, they even showed they can rally while fighting two invasions at the same time and having several of their heavy hitters locked out they can still win. We have shown a great ability to rollover and not do anything.

Bah screw it when the invasion starts and we watch the sith steamroll over us again. Remind me about our new tact and direction of rolling over. I have padawans who need their training posts and arguing what has been proven to work is tiring.

Not jumping down your throat, man. I'm pointing out that I didn't authorize you and Kiskla didn't either. We're not the One Sith where everyone can run around and organize invasions on their own or dominion whatever planet they want when they want and where they want. 99% of the time, if you ask I'm generally okay with it and give you the go ahead. For example, if you'd asked me before posting this, I'd have given a thumbs up and a go ahead. As it is, I'm a little peeved.

I'm not omniscient or all seeing, so I don't know what's going on all the time unless someone tells me. If you wanna be negative and passive aggressive after an FL pops up and tells you "I appreciate what you're doing, but don't do this again unless you have permission from the Faction Staff. You are not Faction Staff" that's your prerogative, but the passive aggressive/negative attitude was pretty much exactly what you stated you didn't want for this invasion.

The invasion isn't set yet, as [member="Kiskla Grayson"] just stated. When it is, the parameters will be posted and planning will ramp up ahead of the invasion thread itself. We're not trying to keep anyone in the dark or hide information, but it makes no sense to get hyped up over invasion parameters that aren't fully decided, yet. It's like getting excited about a football game and buying the tickets months and months in advance before the settle the two teams' schedules, then showing up and finding out your team swapped it's schedule around a day or two after you bought the tickets and isn't playing there. Why? The schedules were still fluid.

A new thread will be made when the invasion parameters are set. Until then, to prevent any more commentary of uncivil nature between members, this thread is locked.
