Overview

Unit Designation: Reaver Squadron
Affiliation: Imperial Confederation Naval Command
Unit Type: Elite Multirole Starfighter Squadron
Size: 12 pilots, divided into 4 specialized flight groups
Base of Operations: TBD
Commander: Commander Raace "Zen" Typho
Operational Motto: "Where we fly, silence follows."

Mission Profile

Reaver Squadron is not a standard line unit. It is a black-marked execution squadron—deployed in high-risk, high-priority operations where precision, aggression, and finality are paramount. Their mandate includes:
  • Surgical elimination of high-value targets
  • Disruption of enemy command infrastructure
  • Escort and protection of priority Imperial Confederation assets
  • Deep infiltration, rapid strike missions
  • Suppression of rogue Force-sensitives or splinter groups
  • Enforcement actions against defectors or traitorous naval personnel

Tactical Doctrine

Reaver Squadron operates under a doctrine of "Brutal Precision." Every engagement is approached with a three-fold objective:
  1. Shock Entry – Deliver overwhelming impact in the opening seconds. Surprise, aggression, and maximum destabilization.
  2. Target Isolation – Cut out and destroy mission-critical targets with surgical accuracy.
  3. Clean Exit – Leave no evidence, no pursuit, and no survivors unless ordered otherwise.
They are expected to fly missions with minimal oversight and high autonomy. Each pilot is trained in reconnaissance, technical sabotage, close-quarters starfighter dueling, and sensor deception.

Flight Group Structure

Reaver squadron, being composed of 12 fighters, is composed of four flight groups made of three fighters each.

Blade Flight - Reavers 1-3
Shade Flight - Reavers 4-6
Ash Flight - Reavers 7-9
Fang Flight - Reavers 10-12

Command & Culture

Commander Raace "Zen" Typho leads Reaver Squadron with the intensity of a storm locked in a man's skin. Under his command, discipline is absolute, even if the methods aren't always standard. Pilots are handpicked—not just for skill, but for mindset: ruthless, loyal, adaptable, and able to kill without hesitation or remorse when ordered.

There is no room for ego or politics in Reaver Squadron. Success is survival, and anything less is failure. New recruits are given three trials before being accepted: one combat sim, one interrogation sim (as either subject or interrogator), and a live-fire group exercise that involves real casualties—either inflicted or endured.

The squadron does not speak to outsiders. Most of their downtime is spent in silence, meditation, or sharpening their skills. Those who break the squad's code of silence or bring unwanted attention are quickly reassigned—or simply vanish from the flight roster.

Reputation & Legacy

Reaver Squadron is known throughout the Confederation fleet as "the Cleaners." When conventional forces fail or a situation grows too delicate for standard Navy protocol, Reavers are dispatched with sealed orders and discretionary authority.

Among enemies, their arrival is usually a death sentence. Pirates, rebels, rogue commanders, and exiled Force users who see crimson-accented fighters on approach know two things:
  • They were found.
  • They won't leave the system alive.
Even within the Imperial Confederation, whispers follow the Reavers—stories of entire rebel cells disappearing in hours, of strike craft operating beyond sensor range, and of masked black boxes delivered to Navy intelligence marked only with: "Objective Complete."
