Rebels on the Ground on Coruscant

It turns out the people I was told to engage are commandos who somehow think they can waltz on into the Temple without at least a Jedi Knight to accompany them.
This is ridiculous. If they don't give ground against a Sith then they're just full of it.
Also a raid of this proportion in order to work needs to be well coordinated, and it seems that the Repulbic has not coordinated anything, judging from the incoherent nature of the raid.
They are not the Republic

I agree that if this were better coordinated with some established limitations worked out ahead of time - ahead being the operative word - then it may be or have been a fairer fight.

Limiting the amount of players, giving them points of defense to take out early, or even them allowing infiltration into the Temple from the start in a covert mission... all of these could have made the skirmish more fair.

But to my knowledge FAs weren't consulted and the skirmish was put up to play out the way it's playing out. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing either, but the Rebels need to accept where the chips are falling right now.

Are there ediquite guidelines for Pcs of varying power fighting each other. For example the engagement it appears I'm about to be in takes place between Two Acolytes and Two commandos and supporting troops. That's like me going up against two high level knights with some troopers in tow in my opinion.

Your thoughts?

Not really but it may be good to pick one that you would like to duel and either PM them or post in the OOC thread of your intentions. That way you can coordinate what is fair with them directly.

If neither of them want to duel you one on one, you can combat their NPCs and as long as you stay within the boundaries of your character's rank and skill set, you can skirmish the NPCs in any way you wish. :)

Sounds awesome I'd love to do some action with fellow assassins, and I just happened to notice the sub faction how cool!

Lemme know if you wanna do an assassiny thread or we meet up in the skirmish on the temple cuz currently she is engaged with Rebel Commandos

Just make sure you stay within the limitations of your skillset and rank.

Cutting through over thirty commandos who are all firing at an acolyte is most definitely something that isn't possible.

While I agree on characters being decided by themselves, there has been multiple times where similar events described even had Tef brought in. Though I highly doubt the same is likely lol.

Anyway what's going on with this? Would a Mentalist/Martial Artist Knight be useful?

How about a Stealth Master?

Okay first off there is a battle going on, they are not all firing at me at once, Dhasias happens to be at the front lines.

Second, Ashoka Tano, who was a Padawan in the clone wars, could easily cut through thirty mooks shooting at her.

Thirdly, it's enemy NPCS, I didn't walk up to Blane Nightfall and say, "I proceeded to slice you into fifty pieces."

I know you guys didn't get as much action as we hoped, but I said I would give a reward to someone at the end of this skirmish.

Dhasias, for your effort in defending Coruscant, I'm awarding you with The Sage Amulet. Enjoy it :)

Thanks for your participation!
