Boethiah
Dark Messiah
The two shared opposite philosophies but one thing they did have in common was their will to debate it.
"Why would I want to live for myself? I'd die empty and without purpose; any comfort I gave would turn to despair.", she retorted with little change in her tone. At one point that very thought was an excuse, an escape but now she honestly saw it was the truth. Why would she want to live for herself? Sure, there may be happiness or comfort but in the end it would only wither away. But ideas don't die, people do but an idea never truly dies -- even when the last memory fades, someone someday will pick up the pieces.
Of course she did agree with the first part of his statement. Surely there were other things but none she felt were worth herself. She wanted to believe fully in her faith.
(Let me know if this is too much going on. I realize you're in both invasions.)
