Cross grinned jokingly as he brought his hands down to Rikki's waist, and managed to slip her shorts off. She really was slippery. He began kissing her neck again, not really caring that he probably should've at least let her take her shirt off first.​

Rikki laughed. Cross's tongue tickled her neck a little. She wrapped her arms around his neck.​

"Should we bring this back into the shower?"​

Cross smiled as he slipped his boxers off and tickled Rikki's stomach.​

"Well, I can carry you to the shower. I can't promise it'll involve actual washing, though."​

So saying, he picked her up and gave her an Eskimo kiss, which quickly turned into a full-tongue kiss of the French kind.​

"I think we stopped being clean a long, LONG time ago..."​

Rikki wrapped her legs around Cross's waist as he held her. She bit his lower lip as she pulled away from the kiss.​

"Let's get wet, fiancee."​

Cross decided to make a mental list of things he was already loving about being engaged. One: Rikki. But he'd already been loving her, in every sense of the word. Two: The word fiancee sounded ridiculously sexy coming out of her mouth.​

"I think you need to end every single innuendo with fiancee now, Princess. It sounds hot."​

He didn't need to say a few additional things about it out loud. Like how it made him want to pin her to a wall and kiss every bit of her his neck would allow him to reach. Instead of mentioning that, he grinned at her teasingly.​

"I always wondered if your bit of training in space-magic involved being a seductive pile of sexiness. You did a great job from the first night we met."​

Rikki thought fiancee sounded pretty hot, too. So did Captain. And Admiral. And Ikon...​

"I didn't really need the Force to win you over, I think. Just like your fancy ship didn't win me over. Though, it was definitely a perk."​

She played with some of the bangs in front of Cross's glasses.​

"I started sticking around after that first night because... Well... You rocked my world. I hadn't ever had it that good. I couldn't just have the best all-night partner up and leave on me. So, I decided to come along with you. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with you, Cross. But I did."​

Cross leaned the side of his face against one of the hands that was playing with his hair.​

"I liked you at first because you were hot and you were listening to me. We had sex a couple of times, and it was amazing. I had a friend to talk to who would also pin me to the floor and make my mind go blank whenever I got sad. And then at some point, talking to you was one of the most enjoyable things in my life, along with the aches, and the scratches, and having you pressed up against me when we slept. And then I thought 'love', and I thought of you..."​

He looked at Rikki, glanced around, and kissed her way harder than he had at any point today. When he pulled away, he raised an eyebrow.​

"Is it weird that saying that got me wanting to go pin you to the wall in the shower even more?"​

Damn... That kiss actually left Rikki breathless. And ABSOLUTELY ready for more.​

Her voice sounded dizzy and deliriously happy.​

Pin her to the ceiling? Wow... That sounded awesome... Of course, they were on a planet, so that wasn't happening. Cross settled for pinning Rikki to the tiled wall of the shower, biting her earlobe as he turned the hot water on and let enough water rise for a bath-ish thing. When that was done, he held onto her as he lowered himself into the warm water and held her down so only her head and shoulders were out of it.​

Cross kissed everywhere he could reach. Rikki's torso would probably be covered in little bites, by the time he was done.​

Rikki laughed and moaned and laughed some more. This was certainly new. And Cross was the one pinning her down this time. She was beginning to understand why he liked it so much. Letting someone else do all the work wasn't so bad sometimes.​

"And, as weird as it sounds, I never did without you for the whole time we've been together, from a couple of months after I came out of stasis. Feels weird to think about it."​

So, Cross didn't think about it anymore. The bathtub was big, and he had plenty of space to get on top of Rikki and continue kissing her upper body. He finally made his way up to her neck, which he gently sunk his teeth into for the second time this morning.​
