Regaining that which was lost (Pt. 2)

tumblr_mmowwsGaiO1spwvymo1_500.jpg
Having chosen to continue onwards, those whom had not been wounded beyond repair moved forward, the Jawa Iziz choosing to rest and recover his mind for some time decided to help move the wounded and aid the medical team with those who were struggling to breathe, using the force to channel the blood from Camilla's lungs while Aurora carrying Caitlyn outside also aided in the effort. Leaving Nathan and Ky'leon with the group as they continued further inside the area, weary and alert about what was yet to come. Stretching and having bound his wounds, Nathan looked better than most of them, with Rapax and his broken ribs looking worse for ware, though, he seemed to be toughing through it... Mythos and his nearly destroyed hand would have been bound by the medics at the very least in a bacta wrap to stave off infection while Xavka would have been mostly fine entering the next area.

As they would continue to walk, the scrawls of reverence carved into the walls would remain a constant, speaking of the deeds of the God King Naga Sadow and his great power, entoning his legend and almost seeming to attempt to draw some form of power from worship, much like younger cultures would a god or a deity... Though as they walked, the stone under their feet became polished, finer, and more rich looking. Stone here and stone there they would begin to change in substance from what seemed like limestone to a smokey blue marble as they would come to a door.

Upon the door was inscribed a warning, in the ancient language of the Sith.

"Flee this place, as one cannot destroy their immortal memories."
Ky'leon looked to the door, barely registering the scrawlings and moved to open it, leaning his body against one side of the six meter high marble slab of an entrance, his claws digging into the ground and his muscles bulging as the door began to move, slowly at first, though silently, as if the hinges of the door knew no rust or age. If left unstopped the leonid would open the door into an expansive cavern, stairs leading down into the center of a room surrounded by pillars separated by twenty four archways, each of them covered in Sith runes as well as the floor with expansive symbols and sigils...

"Well, this is most definitely a trap... though... what if its like the last one... made to end Sith like us... or do you think this one will be different?" - Nathan

The man spoke with a tinge of fear in his voice, hoping that it would not be the case, standing at the door, rather apprehensive about entry.

Rapax entered the room he had his mental and physical defenses prepared for what ever awaits them ... he did how ever memorize in his mind the runes before them.... if this was rune magic then perhaps he can find a use for for them later when this is all over. He waited for the others to enter while he looked around the room.

A grand hall awaited the Self proclaimed King and Emperor of Atrisia, his hand sporting severe damage did not strain his focus on the pristine floors and beautiful carvings... however for the first time during this encounter the Axe of Adas began pulsing like that of beating heart still alive.... Adas took form behind the Emperor of Atrisia.

He spoke in Ancient Sith, the Force Ghost imposing in size and stature was visible to everyone including Mythos. Adas Had not spoken through the entire encounter or at all to Mythos since he unearthed the Axe however this Temple brought out some of the well indoctrinated bias Adas cultivated in his life.

"Is this what the Lords who came after me Built? Pathetic... " His voice was not audible by ears but by Spirit and his demeanor of unimpressed reluctance was palpable. Mythos was a bit surprised to see the old Monarch take form and give his thought, a chance to finally speak to the old King was not passed by Mythos... he responded in ancient Sith as well.

"You have been gone for long Adas... what you see before you is the result of your work. It is the culmination of your Legacy, yet to us that live, this is considered Ancient" His words left his mouth as audible drops of wisdom he acquired in his studies... Adas was still not impressed.

The Gigantic Monarch shrugged and shook his head impatiently as his image dissipated back into the Axe. "You still are so naive and foolish young Sith... the road ahead of you is long..."

Mythos did not respond, instead he walked towards Iziz and the Door that held the line at the very end. "What's the plan now ? this place is sure to be worse than the initial chambers."

As the group entered there was a low, gearous churning from within the halls, like ancient cogs moving on a wheel as they came to the center of the area. The moving machines spurred into action as they touched the base of the room, the massive archaic doorway slamming shut with a resounding boom which shook the room to its core, deadlocked by the gears which shut it, easily sensible by any of those in the room who tried. With the alchemical stone even masters in the force would find it difficult to move or destroy they doors with the protective runes behind them, hidden by the door's opening. What came next however, few would have been able to comprehend.

The floor underneath the Sith lit up with fearsome colours, the sith runes flared to life after millenia of dormancy. The runes themselves seemed to do little but paint a hue for each of those who entered in the room, staining the room a particular colour, though this colour was different for each of them.

For Lord Mythos, an emperor, his colour was that of the most brilliant gold, the light which covered his eyes.

For Rapax, the colour was red, as bold as the crimson of freshly spilled blood.

For Xavka, the colour was opalite, shimmering changing aquatic green.

For Nathan, The colour was grey, drowning his world into metallic monochrome

And for Ky'leon, the colour was brown, like the bark of the stalwart oaks on Cathar...

As the runes spread outwards, the arched too lit up, but not in the same plethora of colour as the floor with its spells, like the floor was a prism, the light split between them, separating the luminescent symbols into different kinds of light. Each other Archway glowed an ambiguous white, except for four... One of which, each of them would not be able to see, as it glowed as the same colour which lit up their own eyes... Darkness would well in these four archways, as a sympathetic bond in the force had been made between each of them and the tower. Darkness became shadow, and shadow was given life. Wraiths began to from from the pits behind the pillars as one by one, the soldiers of the dead rose to claim the living.

From the pillars matching the colour of their eyes, the bodies of the dead would rise, sentient, not lumbering, bearing all the weapons and equipment remembered at the time of their death. Light-sabers would burst to life from the bodies of fallen Jedi should they walk among their ranks, blasters would be loaded and weapons readied as the force would increase in number gradually, spawning another opponent every few moments... For those who died unarmed, nothing more than a domestic knife would be held in their hands.

But without hesitation... Their own eyes glowing with the resonating colour of the arch which powers them... the dead attacked.

(Note: The dead are those your character has 'killed' be they parents, friends, rivals, soldiers etc. The spell is built to bring back the MOST MEMORABLE people from your past, it's meant to be mentally taxing to fight them as well as physically. The dead from your past, aka, the ones who come from the arch which matches your colour, cannot be killed by you, they are immortal, but, you don't know that ;) )

Naga seeing this activated his lightsabers.. He noted that the archways where the most likely source but for now there where bigger threats in mind....Naga sent lightning at some of them ....most of it didnt work on the ones with there eyes of his color of ....how to break this was a task he had to think of quickly in a way that will keep them alive ..he did needa few left for the trials ahead.........he noticed the different colors ......he did a experiment.... he tried to shoot another blast of lightning towards multiple foes of various eye colors to see what would happen perhaps there was a pattern there ....if not he had another idea in mind..

The Sound of the Door Slamming already was a bad sign, Mythos had little time for testing the lock as he knew whatever they came here to look for did not lie behind them but instead it lay beyond what they could see... a hardened warrior Mythos did not let a measly wound keep him from his duty to dive further into the tomb as he and his apprentice insisted that they go now and they face whatever it is that lies in this Tomb of Darkness..

They both knew that what awaited them beyond the walls of this sanctum was not something you could prepare for anywhere else in the galaxy and the time was right to push forward into the Halls and trials of the tomb. Mythos held his lightsaber in left hand while his good hand healed and he drudged on forward when he saw the gleaming golden lights.

Gold... Gleaming Gold and shining yellow like the eyes of the Sun, Honey and Amber... he could not help but to smile when he saw his parents. Yet Another one of those illusions, he thought. Many times did he encounter those types of things and it was at first in his duel with @Asajj. In no time however he noticed that things were not as they seamed and these were not Illusions, or so he thought.

Next he saw familiar faces, the Sith Acolytes he had slain in one of his temper tantrums in Glee Anelsm, Good Dozen of them, dead...Death was something so common to Mythos he had begun to accept it and see it for what it truly was... to be one with the Force and to return to the Power that you once control.... of course, Mythos never intended to die..

His Smile soon faded once he noticed the Mandalorians he had slain in Atten II return from behind them and soon enough there was a literal army of Soldiers and Warriors that he had Slain. Mythos.... never forgot, the slain he has personally dispatched to the neather are remembered in his mind and accounted for face by situation by Mission... he held on to the memory of the Fallen...

He stood his ground as blaster pistol fire came and was redirected back at their source and they rose from exactly where Mythos planted them... the second volley was far too powerful. Mythos began to think up another strategy as he force jumped back and landed on a roll at the start of the entrance in the archway. It was then he saw him... a figment of Mythos' imagination far beyond the nightmares plagued within him by the Axe, The clear Image of @Kezeroth the Beholder had come back to haunt him.

Mythos felt a cold dead shiver crawl up his spine... and his eyes narrowed before the sight of the one Giant Figure that eclipsed them all. "That's...impossible..." yet there it was looming forward like a titan of shadow looking to snuff out all life in existance. Mythos' mind taxed by the Illusion and the monumental task at hand bucked and he sought cover behind a stone slab big enough and sought a second to compose his thoughts.

Death was a finality. That was a truth that Xavka had held on Iridonia. Once a Clan Member died, they were dead, gone from the mortal coil, never to be able to walk or see or fight or breathe. Once someone was dead, that was it, there was no future to be held for them, all of what they could of been wiped away by the claws of a beast or the hands of another.

Since leaving Iridonia and joining the Sith, Xavka had heard of tales that shook this truth hard. Stories of Sith dying only to reawaken in another body and continue to live, to let their song be painted across the canvas of the universe for years to come. Stories of Sith that defied the grasp of death, who had wrestled with the pull of the afterlife and won. Won the right to continue eking out their existence as a Ghost, a spirit without a body to reside in, a spirit tied to life through some mysticism of the Force. However, despite the stories and tales he had heard and read, never had Xavka witnessed such a refusal to abide by a fundamental rule that governed the entire universe, that governed as far as Space and Time could reach, a law so profound that all feared it one day being applied to them while being intrigued by its mystery, a law that inspired civilisations to apply a God to. That lack of witnessing living beyond death had allowed Xavka to maintain his belief that the law was a truth.

That was why Xavka currently felt morbid amusement. Amusement at how simply a belief that has been shaken and batter, that has weathered through the years to continue to stand tall, could crumbling and fall at the sight of a single action. A single precise blow had managed to do, in a second, what could not be completed in years of heavy nocks. Xavka Duquo's belief that death was a finality was finally broken.

Out of the shadows that loomed before him, partially illuminated by the aquatic green light of the runes beneath his feet and inscribed on a stone arch, out came wraiths that lived within Xavka's past. Beings of a variety of species and colour lumbered forwards, clasped in their hands the weapons they had wielded before Xavka had acted as an instrument of death, extinguishing the flame of life that they held within their bodies.

Before him, the dead walked.

Removing his sword from its sheath, Xavka bathed it in the Force as lightsabers were ignited, and blasters were readied. As weapons were drawn and the tension began to draw to a crescendo, Xavka kept his calm, taking deep and steady breathes. Readying himself. With an inaudible crash the tension peaked and the army of the dead charged. An army of pirates and smugglers, of Force users and non Force users, of politicians and gangsters. Every man and woman he had ever slain, on orders or by necessity, was burned within his mind, his way of honouring the dead and every memorised face was present before him, charging at him.

Growling, Xavka charged to, his sword whipping around his body in a practiced and elegant dace as the blade of the deadly weapon caught blaster fire from the army, stopping the plasma in its tracks before it could impact with his lightly armoured body. It was in that instant that Xavka cursed the fact that he had made the choice of stealth and manoeuvrability over defence as he met the charging dead, sword cutting through necks of three pirates in a single instant, sending their bodies collapsing to the floor like a marionette with its strings severed.

With the armies many seemed to have slain in their time amongst the living, the presence of Ky'leon and Nathan seemed to be a little different, Nathan, being a knight of the Sith and an assassin seemed to have only truly killed a few men, most of them politicians which now held the ancient blaster pistols which they wielded as they walked the land of the living. Nathan was a powerful force user, but it seemed that when it came to his assassinations, he was not a whirlwind of death that claimed everything in the building, but rather performed his task with utmost efficiency. Those who appeared, he charged head on, deflecting their blaster bolts and dived into their few ranks, with a single few swings of his light saber, each of them he hewed through he would discover would be completely unharmed. Now surrounded, Nathan was in a bad place. The force wraiths had trapped him in a situation he could not escape from easily. His light-saber had no effect on the wraiths, blocking and attempting to cut them down he quickly found that nothing seemed to work. Using a force jump he leaped out of the fray taking a blaster bolt to the thigh as he did so, landing and crashing, rolling and tumbling he got up and aimed his hand for the group, force lightning ripping from his hand to the wraiths, seeming to work for a moment, as they recoiled before looking back at him with hallowed eyes. Nathan's face was that of dread.

"The hell power is this! these aren't illusions yet they cannot be harmed!?"

He cried out in vain as he attempted to fight the immortal dead.

Ky'leon however, was facing down a very different battle, Another Cathar with a song-steel spear atop a gigantic tusked Reek made the Sith assassin Roar in defiance, hated and everything else. The Reek mounted warrior charged the Sith, who attempted to roll beneath the Reek and slash up through it to no effect. Getting clipped by the reek's underbelly as they raged over top of them. The power of the Cathar seemed great, leaping down from the Reek to impale Ky'leon, who rolled to his feet, the two of them entered epic spear combat, the two of them grabbing and twirling their spears with finesse, clashing and blocking as Ky'leon seemed to be at a great disadvantage in the battle, of the two of them, the male lion he fought was larger, more skilled, had a long beard and was covered in scars and trap tools. Fighting with skill which some Sith Masters would be envious at.

Outside the room, Iziz had recovered and could feel the swell of dark power from the room ahead, running to the door which had slammed shut he smashed on it, trying to push it open with the force, but no luck. In a final effort he drew his saber-staff and attempted to stab it into the stone only to find that the alchemical stone bounced the blade from its surface like it was nothing. Deflecting the heat from the lightsaber, this door was sealed shut by a powerful magic. the runes of which were on the other side...

The door was meant to keep people out, not keep people in.

Naga Sadow did not want re-reinforcements in this trial...
But was that function merely out of pragmatism?
Or a carefully planned meaningful action?

Xavka scowled fiercely as he span around, completely surrounded by the army of the dead, small as it may be compared to some of the others taking part in the trials with him. The only person who's group was close to equalling his in small numbers was Nathan's, showing their skill at killing only their targets, true assassins, leaving Death in their shadows only when needed and only to those that needed so as to lower the amount of attention directed towards themselves or their actions.

Growling, Xavka continued to spin around in a constant movement as his blade flashed, stopping lightsaber, blades and blaster alike from making contact with his person, however a few cuts littered his body. Shocks of lightning flew off him in constant intervals, striking without missing into the dead that surrounded him as his clothing billowed out from the speed of his movement. Shards of rock, carved out of the floor by his sword, rocketed into head of the dead, dropping them, as he extended his skills as much as he possibly could without straining himself and leaving himself an open target for the hoard that surrounded him.

Every time he cut one od the dead wraiths down, another took their space and the fallen body soon picked itself up from where it fell. The crowd of violent beings was like a constant tidal wave, unrelenting as it crashed onto the rocks of his defence, dashing itself in failure but never stopping, always returned for more as it began to wear at the rocks, eroding away at them bit by bit until, eventually those rocks would fall.

A sigh of relief fought to escape from Xavka, though, as he felt Iziz, the diminutive Sith, stir from where he lay in the previous room. Gathering the Dark around him in a fierce maelstrom, Xavka released it with a roar, sending bodies fly back like rag dolls, clearing a space around him. Leaping into the air, back towards the entrance, Xavka made to alert Iziz of what was happening, to let him in on everything that had happened.

However, his words froze in his mouth as he witnessed Iziz's attempts to gain entry and be denied at every turn. It was that action, coupled with the fact that he had seen a disarmed lightsaber fly back through the entrance already, that caused Xavka's intellect to run.

'Others are unable to enter the help, but you can leave. But pride won't let a Sith consider retreat. With the enemies unable to die, that means any Sith that enters here signs their death warrant.' The thought triggered a recent memory, something that had been said in the previous room, something Aurora had told them, that a Jedi would have succeeded at the last trial. 'That's it! These trials are meant to kill Sith! Think like a Jedi!' Taking advantage of the lull in his fight, Xavka crouched down and weaved a barrier in front of him, one that would serve to prevent physical, Force, lightsaber and blaster attacks from hitting him. For a short while at least. Long enough, he hoped, for him to figure out the puzzle.

'Okay, think how would a Jedi react. They would group together, support one another until an answer could be found. They wouldn't allow a fellow to die. But that can't be it, surely fighting together isn't enough. There's more!' Casting his eye around, looking for whatever clue was eluding him, Xavka noticed the correlation between the colour that had been under each Sith's feet and the colour of the hollow eyes of the dead. 'It's not aesthetics! There correlation. Working together is the answer, just not so much directly! The Spell must like the Sith to their specific Wraiths and, while the Sith is alive, the Wraith's continue to be. The lights represent the bond between Sith and Wraith!'

Xavka's eyes widened as he realised the answer at the same time his barrier fell and a blaster bolt caught him on the should. Grunting in pain, he took the momentum and got to this feet as a new barrier formed. However, this one was weaker and would fall quicker. Throwing his arm out, six needles flew from his hand, each one tipped with a deadly poison. He was once again following what a Jedi would do, prevent a fellow falling to the Dark.

The needles whipped through the air at high speeds and sunk into the neck of the Cathar facing Ky'leon. Using his ability at reading bodies and self training in viewing things at high speeds, Xavka had been able to predict where Ky'leon would be and where his opponent would be, with a little help from the Force.

Before he could see the results of his efforts, the barrier fell and Xavka was forced into fighting, sword flashing around him in defence of its Master once again. "Ky'leon!" His voice cut over the sounds of battle with sharp intensity. "If what I did works, shout! Your enemies will be mine and mine yours!" That was all he could get out before being swarmed once again.

Naga Fought on to no avail...he used force drain on the opponents around him to keep his reserves going strong. Atleast one thing was going right for him in that regard, He tried to look around for anything that stood out whilst dodging bolts and attacks from the wraiths before them...it was hard work but he refused to fall here in this tomb when he was so close...He sensed around for any focal points or the source of where they are coming from to try and stop them and hopefully be rid of them forever before they all are crushed here.

Mythos found himself pinned down, it was not looking easy as the swarm just kept coming down the arch without any sign of stopping, the waves of enemies and un-dead were like a swift tide of darkness. He did the only thing he could do, Run. Dodging and ducking away from blaster bolts and away from the arch and back to the door. Sensing the energy of the force around him he focused the power of the force on his limbs, enhancing his movement and sending the force pulsating through his muscles to outrun his enemies careen back towards his allies. He curved left at the end of the arch banking his body left and his right boot upon the wall tilting his body and walking upon the wall with the momentum.

It looked like a boost of force powers but everything Mythos executed could be done without the aid of force abilities.

He brought out the axe from his back while spiriting vertically upon the walls, his right hand throbbing in pain from the last battle now aided him using the force, bending his knees quickly and gathering the force as he, in an instant, blasted off to the arch of his apprentice.... everyone could die... but he was his responsibility. Seeing the wraiths below him Mythos brought his Axe midair above his head while somersaulting and splitting one of the min half and sending a shock-wave that blasted many others around him.

When he arose he did so with focus and balanced and clipping the axe back to his back immediately, the straps designed for it made it so he could still use it when he had to and make it balanced when not.

Mythos pivoted and brought pride out of it's clip and began deflecting the blaster bolts back to the enemy wraiths in order to to get to his apprentice, soresu not being his strongest point but knowing enough of Djemso to even it out Mythos held his ground before darting and dodging back and to his apprentice not too far away... he could sense him.

It was then... he realized something...

He could kill those of his allies sure, but most of his allies had killed a dozen or maybe a more... Mythos had gave the order to kill hundreds and they were coming.... how many died by the cannons he commanded in Atten II? How Many Slain in Naboo under his saber in a cleave of vengeance? Mindabaal? How Many Lightsaber wielding warriors would come? how many blaster wielding enemies would come forth from the golden archway?

"Naga! Remember what i taught you!?"

His lightsaber came to his hands and the blade started to grow stronger. Mythos nodded as he closed his eyes and focused...

Blasted bolts flew right beside him and the incoming fire was imminent,it would take some time to focus the force on what he knew needed to be done, the only weapon he knew of that would eliminate massive waves of enemies. The black blade grew stronger and the blaster fire neared closed, passing so close Mythos felt the loud whiz of their trajectory in his ear.

This was the trust of apprentice and student, not needing to communicate to plan out a battle plan, Mythos had taught him the ability and he knew how to use it, he knew he needed time, in such Mythos trusted Naga to give him that time, by any means necessary.

As plans began to unlock, and illusions began to be seen through the veil of this trap became known to the sith, Xavka was the first to see through the patterns and understand the nature at the heart of the trap, discovering that it was within his ability to harm another of the beings, so long as he was able to see its glowing eyes. The Songsteel spear of the enemy dueling with the saber pike of Ky'leon. Hearing the flying projectiles the bearded wraith of a lion twirled the blade, to block the darts. Kyleon however was on top of him, bringing the lightsaber through his opponent's leg, he made the wraith hesitate, although it took no damage and the darts met their mark. Ky'leon immediately noticed that his opponent was struck down, looked to Xavka and nodded in agreement. It seemed now they finally had a strategy to be able to handle those who were coming through the portals... Diving out of the way of the massive rampaging beast which had once been used as a mount, Ky'leon's gate was letting out bizzare creatures he had hunted on his homeworld as well as other Cathar guards.

Using a force Jump, Ky'leon dove into the ranks of Xavka's enemies with his saber pike like a dragoon from high, flooring one of them and beginning to make short work of the select political assassination victims.

As Rapax began to use some break in the combat to sense his surroundings, the archways would become apparent that they were some of the source of the magic, they were indeed one part to the puzzle, creating the wraiths, but there was something else in the room sustaining them. Even if the Archs were to be broken, the wraiths would not vanish, but it was a step in the right direction... something that was hidden from sight, but not from the physical realm...

[member="Lord Mythos"]
The flood of those Mythos had lead to the death of would be quickly becoming a problem, as almost fifty of his men had come into the room now, several of them light-saber wielding as they would charge head first, while the others used military grade weapons to continue to fight, a couple of grenades would be let fly towards the master and his apprentice as it seemed as if the two of them were now communicating between each other. As the forces began to pile on everything began to look more and more dire.

Nathan:
Nathan, with a wounded leg, seemed to be holding off those he had been fighting again, seeing little other recourse he activated the cloaking generator on his armour and rolled down several stairs to avoid them for the mean time, he would find a means to attack, but his poltry dozen men were beginning to overwhelm him, to the point that he now needed to take to hiding... From stealth he bound his leg tightly so that he would be able to walk, using the force to flow it through the limb and gain some movement. Looking around and back to the door, he thought to himself, running towards Mythos' opponents as best he could, he rummaged through their backlines, coming behind one of the heavy weapons men that stood in the back, priming a thermal warhead.

Stabbing his lightsaber through his back, Nathan took the weapon, aiming it for the entrance which had been closed, and pulling the trigger. A rocked soared through the air and slammed into the frame of the door. A ten meter explosion erupted from the point of impact and a hole in the massive arcane reinforced wall was punched. Iziz on the other side ducking at the hint of danger. and now able to enter the fray. Charging in, with Aurora in tow, the two of them began to open up on Ky'leon's beasts, hewing through them and draining their life force dry in an attempt to take some of the burden.

Naga senseing that the archways where the source of the wraiths arrival Charged his blade up with blade storm like his master commanded, However when he swung down the attack it went through the horde and hits the archways behind them. The archs would shatter..well...the ones not of his own color would be there where still some standing but he managed to stop the flow of some of the wraiths...however there was still a few archs active...as well as what is sustaining this beasts. He took the break after the blade storm to try and sense out where the source could be thats sustaining these creatures.

Synergy and team work was a rare thing among the sith however Mythos and his apprentice moved with a single mind and the arc of energy from his lightsaber cut down a score of wraiths in the Archway of his apprentice. He felt the Archway crack under the wave unleashed by his apprentice and the exhaustion from his own use of the ability taxed him...

It was then Mythos caught the Impact of a Massive fist that sent him flying from the archway of his apprentice all the way back to the door landing at the feet of Iziz and Aurora. Kezeroth the beholder, the massive gendai made from the imagination of Mythos dashed behind the flying Sith and rushed towards his location. His voice boomed...

"I WILL BATHE THE GALAXY IN YOUR BLOOD"

It's what Kezeroth had said, it's the words that haunted Mythos in his dreams ever since the encounter... and the thundering steps coming closer and closer echoed in his ears, He struggled to get up but once he did all he got was the Gendais' fingers around his neck choking the very life out of him and raising him up to his eyes.... the black eyes of the beholder... He would have faded to black....However the Beast hurled him across the room to a small stone monolith that Mythos broke in to rubble with his landing.

[member="Darth Rapax"] @Iziz @Xavka Duquo

The battle waged on and on, fueled by the venom and hatred for man, the blade-storm of Mythos and his apprentice however served well to cull the horde, ripping through the ranks of enemies as the structure of the pillars began to weaken and falter. cracks in the symbols running up the blue marble began to short circuit the portals which continued to form wraiths of the dead. The rate of formation ultimately slowing from Mythos, Nathans and Rapax's portal. With Ky'leons and Xavkas portal still pooling out its minions at their normal rate. The collossal attacks culled the number of the soldiers which were facing the group by about 60 percent, ripping them down to a much more manageable level, but the Gendai was definitely becoming a problem.

Iziz and Aurora as reinforcements took another couple of steps in, looking up the the Gendai as it dispatched Mythos with incredible furiousity, welling the force through his fingertips and down into his light-saber blades Iziz would charge each of his double sided blades with force lightning, extending the length of the blades three fold as the Jawa would make his charge towards the opponent with his own storm of attacks, awaitinf for the first action of the beast and attempting to side-step it with force speed and unleash a berserker barrage of long lightning slashes with his light-sabers to both sever and electrocute the inner muscle workings of the Gen-dai.

Aurora however, took to the skies, looking out for others who had been pinned down, seeing Ky'leon more than fine with the group he was dealing with but could sense faintly the signature of Nathan within the ranks, he had gotten to the back-line of Mythos' forces, but as the blade-storms which had just recently ravaged the area had struck through the forces and clipped him, although weakened it was more than enough to sever one of his arms from the blow to the shoulder and throw him several meters away from the devastating force powers. Flying down within the ranks, she landed over top of him, angered by the events occuring from around her. throwing out er hands in either direction Aurora produced a sphere of dark-side power potent enough to kill those who touched it. The red glow of the sphere consisted that of force drain, draining the power of things that touched it in an effort to keep Nathan safe for the mean time.

But the Diathim didn't seem happy about it.

Several wraiths hammered on the sphere, being absorbed and then opening fire with blasters, however the energy weapons still found themselves being absorbed by the sphere.

Despite the portals being decreased by half...and extra help arriveing there was still the problem of what was sustaining these beasts...Naga avoided the Gen'dai and continued trying to sense the source. Naga sent bolts of lightning towards the gen'dais muscles trying to fry as much of it as he could. There has to be something keeping these wraiths sustained and hes gotta find it other wise this will never end. He stayed on the defensive while he kept draining at the force around them to keep his reserves intact whilst looking and senseing around the room for a way to solve this puzzle before they are overrun entirely.

Mythos crash landed on the monolith and the impact of his flight disintegrated the stone statue instantly and Mythos bounced twice before being covered in rubble and stone. Every single part of his body was in pain and the landing had cost him a dislocated shoulder, he could readjust it but it h needed to get up first, a task that under forty pounds of granite slab was not an easy task.

First his hand moved and the rubble began to slowly rumble as he forced his body to keep fighting, exhaustion and pain coursed through his body as an eerie silence took over his mind.... it sought to consume him, another mind trick of the temple cast a shadow on his mind, despair and fear, horror and suffering.
"No..."

It was a cry from the inside out, a whisper at first but repeatedly gained strength and power resonating within his mind. "No, i cannot fall here, i cannot fall now" The rubble above him shook with more and more fury, slowly gaining strength and power as it surmounted into a tidal wave of dark force energy.

The stones started to float and Mythos body arose from where it was seeming to levitate slowly. The Stones floated around him covering his body through force of will and a mastery of telekinesis granted only by the power of the axe and the fury of his soul. With the axe in his left hand his right hand extended forward fingers pointing towards the enemy and sending the chunks of stone flying out and decimating everything that stood in his way. His eyes blazing in yellow fire sought only to dismantle and destroy everything with the sheer power of the force and the stone popping the rotting corpses of the undead.

Mythos... had been unlocked.

Nathan was down, Aurora stood over him as Iziz had struck out against the Gen'dai which seemed to be beginning to drop in vitality, though he was not down yet. As the boulders and rocks lifted up and crashed down on the remaining of the enemy, few were crushed but others made their way our from underneath the wreckage. Xavka continued to fight the many beasts which crawled out from the chaos, but that stream was soon about to stem and come to a finish... Aurora expanded her aura of drain as a shield, as each of the rocks thrown by Mythos hit them, his control over them faded and they dipped, barely missing the two of them as he seemed to be distracted by his survival inastincts.

Ky''leon however had made his way up the stream of Xavka's opponent's, striking at the arch itself with his saber and striking the stone down, stopping the flow entirely before looking to the next one, now that he was free, he was able to help another of the sith with his fallen wraiths. Looking to them, he saw that Mythos' hole, though it was damaged was still pumping out the most dangerous of all of them, so diving in, he would tackle into several of those who wielded light-sabers, using both his saber-staff and calling the song-steel spear into his hand. His strength alone would be brutal against these Force wielders.

Iziz himself unleashed something which was going to rock the room, taking a thermal detonator from his pocket he would toss it up, performing a single back-flip and kicking the remote via its button toward the arch of Ky'leon, a few seconds would pass but the explosion would fill a portion of the room as smoke would begin to fill it. With two of the pillars down and a large chunk of troops having their sight impaired. It would be here that Rapax would observe a node high in the room hanging on a chandalier, the smoke breaking around it while it seemed to have no presence in the force or in the spectrum of physical sight... Hidden by a complex illusion...

Rapax noticeing the node above them and the way the smoke broke around it... this must be the source of the wraiths sustaining power.... there was no other areas that reacted like the node did so Without any furthur to do he sent a another wave of blade storm towards the node in the hopes it would destroy it and it would end this trial...if not he had to think of another way....and soon before these wraiths destroy them. If it didnt work he had something else in mind .....however it would need alota energy to do should this fail..

His feet did not touch the ground, neither did his black lightsaber upon his crimsoned hand yet he floated and approached the massive waves of wraiths and demons with a blast of force energy whirled with rocks and debris clearing a path. His right hand raised his lightsaber high and the dark side of the force engulfed his body fueling him with the pain and agony of his scorched hand and bruised body, the thirst for bloodshed and violence snapped inside him like a broken dam of filled with anger and hatred boiling for decades.

His arm snapped forward sending his lightsaber in a whirling path of fury cutting down everything in his path before swiftly coming back to his hand. His eyes met with the archway of gold slowly parting way in stone and debris then he glanced over to a colossal piece of stone. His right hand stretched over to the boulder twitching with the overwhelming sensation of pain and the darkside of the force and the boulder heaved in protest at it's upheaval.

His focus was imperfect yet brutally efficient, through sheer force of will and anger the megaton boulder lifted from it's bed and arose yards in the air while Mythos slowly levitated a few inches from the ground. As soon as he felt control and power over the boulder his gaze switched and locked to the archway and the boulder was sent careening over to the gate like a massive stone fist hurled by the hand of an invisible titan.

The sound was that of a earth shattering explosion as stone split from wall and the archway came crashing down. Mythos' eyes blazed with an inner fire as he saw the archway crashing down, laying a final nail in the coffin of all those souls he had put to rest, death and agony awaited them for power belonged to him...

He slowly fell down inch by inch from his levitation, settling down amidst the chaos and grounded himself for anything else that might arrive...
